Service has been very poor. I placed an order for my reading glasses on October 10 and still have not received them. Every time I call, I am given a polite explanation for the delay and told that the manager will call me back, but no one ever does. Never seen a pair of glasses that have given me such a problem... Lens falls out nose piece comes off.. all with in less then 10 months.. I was back and forth with this place soooo many times. And they don't want to do anything but have me pay again for another eye exam and buy new glasses... $600+ after insurance.. doesn't do any good to complain Cause the manager doesn't care about the customers.. Simon Eye wanted to charge me a $40 Contact Lense Consultation Fee for which there was no consultation done. When questioned about it they stated this is a standard fee. Odd how you charge a fee for a service they did not provide. unfortunately Simon Eye is they only company my Health Insurance covers or else I would be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Wow, talk about a helpful company! While I don't even get my eyes checked or buy glasses here, I needed my frames adjusted and they were more than happy to help me. Additionally, they were very quick, even with 5 or 6 people ahead of me I only had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes. I even walked out with a free bottle of lens cleaner and a cloth, all for nothing! They helped me and gave me free service as well as free product. If I ever need a new provider I know where I'm going. :-) read more

BAIT & SWITCH! I was told over the phone my insurance covered the exam. (I asked 3 times to make sure) After my teenage son finishes the exam, I'm told there is a "$129.00 fee" I was assured over the phone it was covered (3 times). I don't appreciate being lied to just to get me to the door! All of that aside....The Eye Doctor and employees were all very kind & respectful (even after I was angry about the situation) I just don't appreciate the bait & switch. read more

Convenient location and helpful staff. When I first moved to Bear, I knew I needed to find a new eye doctor since I need my yearly supply of contact lenses. Simon Eye was near by and I figured I'd give them a shot. I haven't been the biggest fan of my eye doctors back home, so I was hoping for a better experience here. They were super responsive in giving me my first appointment and accommodating my schedule. I went in on a Friday afternoon, had my eye exam, picked out glasses, and left in about an hour. There was no crazy wait time and the doctor (Matthew Miller) was great! Funny too! I recently emailed them to set up another appointment. Within 24 hours I received a response from Paige saying my prescription was valid and I just needed to go into the office to pick up contacts. I went in on a Saturday morning and again, within 20 minutes, I was in and out. I love that you can set up appointments online. I love their quick responses. And I mostly love how quickly you can walk in, do your thing, and leave. Best eye doctor office yet! read more

Not very happy with optometrist who gave my daughter her contact lense fitting. There are a ton of options for contact lense wearers these days, daily lenses vs monthly, an array of colored lenses, etc. Nothing was explained about the choices she could make, they just put her in a pair of monthlys assuming that's what she wanted. The technician who helped with all of the other details was super nice though. read more

In tandem with my other review of the Limestone office, This review shows what role this particular Simon Eye office played a role in this customer's dissatisfaction with this place. I was supposedly referred to this office after my cataract surgery that this office set up last Monday, May 12th, for a follow up. They said they didn't have me in their database, for any followup appointment which is what their Limestone office supposedly set up, so instead of helping me by speaking to one of their optometrists, due to post surgery eye pain, and focusing issues, they said to leave a message on their voicemail, and a person would get back to me. As of today, I am still waiting for that call back. (today is May 19th)... This office is either incredibly lazy, or they don't give a rats ass(I vote for both). I have now found a reputable Opthamologist to take care of any future eye care. read more

This place harassed me for about 9 months with phone calls, text messages, emails and mail to "remind" me I was due for an eye exam. But because of the aggressive way they went about reminding me and my family I will not be visiting their office ever again. In fact I would prefer to go blind. I did inform the staff on numerous occasions Do not call me or my family. In my opinion they are worse then debt collectors, I would know ,as that was my previous job. read more

Very pricy. Paid way too much for what i got. Made my prescription way too strong. The only good thing was that he was good at getting a tiny peice of metal out of my eye. Also know what your insurance pays for, they told me some was covered just to get me out the door. I think i will go somewhere else next time. read more
