I went to Dr. Madorsky on a personal recommendation, and it was the single worst experience I have ever had with a doctor in my life. My initial consultation was pretty good. He tried to upsell me a little on an additional cosmetic procedure when I was in for a (medical) septoplasty, but that's to be expected. We ultimately decided to stick to only what my insurance would cover. Towards the middle of October my family finally hit our deductible and I could now get my procedure. Mind you I have needed this for years, this is my last year on this insurance, and this was the first time I have been eligible. I called his office in October,and they were luckily able to squeeze me in before the year's end. I was set to go in on Dec. 4th. That was until today, November 11th, when I called to check on my appointment. After being put on hold, they proceeded to hangup and never call back. A few minutes later I called the line and I was told by another office worker that Doctor Madorsky had personally cancelled my appointment. Apparently his office is shifting focus, and he decided he would no longer operate on me since I did not want to spend an additional $5,000 out of pocket. There was no warning to me. I just find out 6 weeks before the years end, during holiday season nonetheless, that my appointment is cancelled and I've been recommended to another doctor's waiting list. And only because I called. I have never seen a more inconsiderate, money hungry, and just downright reprehensible maneuver from a medical professional. I hope the lady at the phone who had to take the brunt of my frustration did not take anything personally, but Doctor Madorsky is the biggest sham of a practitioner I have ever encountered in my life. Dr. Madorsky is a no nonsense doctor and takes his work very seriously. I was given 3 referrals by another ENT who did not want to touch my nose at all. It was very broken for over 20 years. I asked him to list the Double Board Certified doctors from best to average and Dr. Madorsky was the first recommendation with a star next to it. I was not let down. My first visit to his office was great. He was very thorough in his examination and knew exactly what the issues were. I needed 3 procedures done to correct my nose. I received the estimated cost in a very simple breakdown and I could not believe it. He was half the cost out of pocket than other doctors in the area! When he confirmed what I knew I needed, I immediately booked the soonest appt for surgery. My nose was very bad and he fixed it. Fixed it straighter than I would have thought. He shaved my dorsal hump to make me less bird like and more human like and reduced my turbinate that caused me to choke at night. Also fixed my deviated septum so my collapsed nostril was now breathable. I haven't slept this good in over 20 years thanks to Dr. Simon Madorsky. I was nervous as hell through the whole process but he literally made it feel like it was a breeze and downplayed any horror stories of these procedures. If I could submit two different ratings I would. On the clinical side this experience was excellent. My tonsil ablation and treatment for sleep apnea was exceptional. All the fears of having this procedure done in your late twenties I can attest were over estimated. My recovery was quicker and less painful than expected. On the business side of things however the complete opposite. The explanation of expenses were completely false and the billing staff are misleading. Bills kept coming from all different sources. Billing staff is rude and make every effort to not explain anything. There are too many different layers involved and they are all separately managed with no cohesion. No one tries to help you resolve issues, instead they condescend you and make things more confusing. Go to a hospital for a better experience overall. read more

I have had 5 surgeries by Dr Madorsky and can't say enough great things about him. My 1st surgery was a facial reconstructive surgery following a softball accident. I shattered multiple bones in my forehead and nose. He rebuilt my face perfectly. The 2nd was a nose reconstruction due to my accident. 3rd he removed my tonsils and I had an amazing recovery. My last surgery was a sinus surgery and I have never breathed better! I have no scars and look & feel great. My friend and I have also gotten Botox from his office and they are reasonably priced and do amazing job!!! I've referred my husband and many friends to Dr Madorsky. I just read some of the negative reviews of this office and I am in shock! Dr Madorsky is the BEST nicest, most professional , caring Dr that I have ever encountered. I had major facial surgery and from pre-op to post it was the easiest and most successful surgery. Also the staff ( which caused the negative reviews ) were efficient ,friendly, caring and apologetic if there was a wait. Dr Madorsky performs many emergency pro bono surgeries thus timing may be an occasional result. I would recommend Dr M to anyone that I cared about. What can I say about this extremely talented surgeon. Dr Madursky applied his own far less invasive procedure to reconstruct my husband's nose after a skin cancer removal. He is not only a life saver but an extremely talented plastic surgeon. His patience and bedside manner is better than any doctor or surgeon I have ever met. This is not a review of their medical skills. This is a comment their billing practices. My wife had a cancerous mole removed from just under her eye. The mole was about 1/3 the size of a dime. Total charges almost $15,000. You got to be kidding me. No complications, nothing that would in any way justify such outrageous prices. For example one of the charges was for "staged nasal reconstruction". I guess the fact that they didn't do anything even close to her nose didn't really matter. When we try to dispute even that charge we were rebuffed. The average cost for a facelift is under $7000 according to the American Society of plastic surgeons. So can someone explain these charges certainly this "doctor" can't. read more

I had cancer removed from my forehead today. Dr. Madorsky and his team were great. They had excellent bedside rapport and explained everything before they started. The Surgery took a little over an hour but I am glad they took their time! The reconstruction looks good today and I go back in a couple weeks to have him look at it again. read more

The doctor was great but the staff needs to be replaced. I was asked to come in early for my appointment and then waited 45minutes while they put people in ahead of me like my time means nothing. Then laughed when I said something. Day of surgery they cut a hole in my head and the said they were putting someone else in front of me for reconstruction. I was told to go to lunch and come back in 3hrs. With a hole in my head. And blood in my hair. Or come back on Monday. .again my time means nothing. Then I called 6 different times and Anna still messed up the billing costing me over 500.00 because she didn't bill the insurance right. I called the insurance and told her how to do it and she still messed it up. If i had it to do over I would go somewhere else. Sorry doc get better help they are costing you patients read more

Took my wife Patty in to Dr. Madorsky for skin cancer removal on her nose and legs. He is a wonderful, friendly and excellent Doctor. He fixed up her deep cancer(s) and then did the most perfect stitching to get everything looking great again. Follow up visits are a pleasure as the Doctor always seems to be personally interested in Patty's well being and happiness with his work. We had gone to another "regular" (non Plastic surgeon) Doctor in Newport Beach for MOHS skin cancer removal and that fellow left her with remaining cancer (even after his MOHS procedure) and a terrible wound closing job. Ten years ago my skull, jaw and eye orbit were crushed and my neck was broken in a car accident. All the injuries were on one side of my head. Doctor Simon Madorsky put me back together again. This was a huge challenge and took two surgeries. He treated me with so much respect, he spent extra time braiding my hair away from where he needed to cut me so he wouldn't have to shave my head. I went in for a runny and plugged up nose and after a work up went to surgery yesterday to take out polyps in both nostrils. June 14, 2015 In 2011, I had a very large squamous cell carcinoma removed from the side of my nose by a dermatologist. He highly recommended that I go to Dr. Madorsky for the reconstructive surgery. I found Dr. Madorsky and his nursing staff very skilled, professional, compassionate and friendly. If you saw me today, you would never know that I had a forehead flap grafted on my nose. It is virtually invisible. Dr. Madorsky is miraculous and a very nice man. Recently I needed to have a MOHS procedure for a basal cell carcinoma on my thigh and Dr. Madorsky closed it.
