Her AC has been out for 2 days and she is not the priority because her father is her landlord. . Music playing loud and dancing in her chair while asking me if I had a history of osteoporosis or cancer. Oh my gosh! Please help her realize the professionalism necessary for her position. She stated she was getting a scholarship. Working and going to school while being a single mother. Social skills need to come in place for this field due to the difficulty of some results to individuals. It can be a very traumatic experience. I did not feel it was appropriate for me to honestly discuss with her or I would have done so. Simon Med Imaging please consult with those in your field . Why is zero stars not an option. This place is horrible and literally everything that is wrong with the entire medical system. It is a money generating meat farm with zero respect for patients and their time. Ludicrous policies about no appointments. 4 hour wait times. Zero care or compassion or empathy. First, I was robocalled at least three times a day to schedule my appointment. I finally got online to schedule the appointment to find a timeslot. I get it; reschedule some meetings to make this work. Upload my insurance card and fill out my patient info sheet, we ready, right? Today is the day, I event got a text that says, "It's almost time for your appointment with SimonMed Imaging. A payment may be due at time of service. Call 1-866-614-8555 with questions. When you have arrived at the office, click here to let us know simonmed.opendr.com/readytoseen" I am here for my SCHEDULED appointment. All I have to do is show up and show my proof of documents, right? I even get there 15 min early, as they said. I walk in, check-in, show my proof of insurance and ID and get told an hour and a half wait...WTF! So that won't work; that's an hour and a half before I even have the service; let's reschedule. Then I get hit with "we don't schedule X-rays." Excuse me, then why am I getting a million calls telling me to schedule an appointment! She says "oh they probably don't realize how we work" (referring to my Dr.) No, ma'am Simon Med has been phone harassing me for weeks to get this scheduled. This is unacceptable. Patrons need to stop accepting subpar services. Find a new place that values the customer experience and doesn't just take your money and give bad service. I will find someplace else. This is stupid. My elderly mother was transported here from a nursing facility and turned away because she didn't have her copay. The circumstances should have been considered, I have over 30 years experience in health care and this is absurd. All their locations are a JOKE! I went to the Surprise location, Friday (9/10/21) and after waiting for 90 minutes a group of 7-10 of us were told that every Friday they get "sub tech" while their Surprise tech goes to Sun City location. We were told that their Sub Tech didn't show up, went to the wrong location, isn't answering their phone or may or may not show up. They told us to either come back or go to the Sun City location. Two of the gentlemen stated that they had been to that location a few times and have not been able to get am Xray and took their orders and left. After hearing this I too took my orders and came to Sun City.The place is packee at 9:10 and I was told that I had a 45 min wait but the receptionist was corrected by the other worker and informed her to inform me that other people have appointments so they will have priority, so my new wait is at least 90 minutes. People are coming in and out and are truly frustrated by the way things here work. If you have so many Xray orders, why are you not allowing scheduling? This is just absurd. It's now 10am and I'm counting 17 people and 4 who left with no help of any kind. One lady was sent here from the Surprise location for her a for surgery appointment but the Sun City location didn't have the Jaime she needed in order to complete it and couldn't provide her with another option and kept saying Surprise. So frustrating even listening to the exchange. I can't imagine what that last was going through. read more

zero stars if I could!!!! Just heed the warning and avoid this location all together! I have had imaging taken at this location and NEVER has it been like this. I was 5th in line at 8:00am. 1 person for office staff. The other front desk employee walked through the front door well after 8:00, late, now with a line of 7. The poor elderly lady at the front was told they left her a voicemail the day prior cancelling her appointment. Mind you, she looked about 90 with a walker and had to have a driver. The woman in front of me was livid and hoped they had a manager in the office because of the changes they had tried with her appointment. I finally reached the front only to be told they "don't take my insurance." I scheduled a month prior, filled out all of their paperwork online. I had given all of my insurance information over the phone so they can call and get a rundown of benefits prior to my appointment. This woman at the front desk then tells me, "we need to see your card in person to tell that." So now I'm told a huge line of BS because someone didn't do their job properly and verify my insurance. TOTAL disorganization and on top of that, the waiting room chairs have rips in the seat, multiple chairs, and some are even cloth seats that were clearly dirty. BEWARE! No one likes going to the dr, but to be safe we need our annual check ups right? When I arrived even though there were multiple check in stations with employees at each only one person was helping check in and the other windows directing to the front. Once checked in I waited to be called; roughly 10 minutes after my appointment time no big deal. I was called back, put in a small room to change and told to sit and wait again. The test was explained ok by the technician, but besides that no real communication. I was surprised at the end to be told it could take two weeks for results. Wenn with the call center took 35 minutes to schedule my appt and was rude and talked over me. When she repeated my appointment date and time and said it wrong, she was snippy when I said that is not what we scheduled. She also asked me what I discussed with my dr, which I did not answer. I've never been asked the questions she asked before when scheduling screenings. I asked to speak to her supervisor so that another person can confirm my appointment date and time and she hung up on me. Also they push the online scheduling but then don't allow you to schedule. Brought my wife in for an X-ray and the two women behind the counter were incredibly rude. We stood at the counter for 10 minutes, within a couple of feet from one of the girls, without ever being acknowledged. We just watched as they did their best to avoid eye contact while eating hot Cheetos and staring at their computers. I understand they may have had work to finish up, but to not even acknowledge a patient at all is unacceptable. When they finally decided to help us there was no hello, no apology for the uncomfortable wait, and still no eye contact. The attitude and tone in which they asked their questions implied they were not happy about being interrupted. This place is not welcoming, and their front end staff are rude, unprofessional, and can be described by nothing other than ghetto. This company is a joke!!! I was on hold from 1452-1613. You rescheduled my appointment to a different time ( not ok'd by me) stating a double bo. ok. Not my fault!! I can't come at 1130 which is why I scheduled it at the time I had. These MRI results are pending for an upcoming surgery. Very important to me but obviously NOT them!!! Came here another time and was appalled by how badly they screwed up with the insurance. They charged me $1500 when the actual cost should have been around $250. I called them out on it and asked for a receipt. She only printed out half of the receipt. I asked where the first page was and had to argue with her to even get it! When I got the first page, it showed "error" next to my insurance. So I told her to fix it, as it was obviously giving me the wrong price. I had to wait another 15 minutes and sure enough, she confirmed my suspicions. So I asked for a full receipt of all three services I was having that day. One of them still had the full $650 payment plan I had set up earlier. Um, no? I had to argue with her again to remind her that it was the wrong price. Also, there was some weirdo employee named Shane in the back ranting and rambling about how he got demoted and kicked out of the corporate office and how he threatened to quit. Made an appointment for my husband for an ultra sound and exray. I specifically asked if there were special instructions. She found the order in their system and said no. So we arrive 15 minutes ahead as instructed. Long check in line. We finally got to the desk 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. He was asked if he had drunk 32 oz of water before arriving. No because I was told no special instructions. Then we were told the ultra sound person will determine whether they can do the scan. Then we were told they don't make appointments for exrays but the schedular doesn't know that. Its first come first serve. What a crappy way to do business. I had a procedure 4 months ago. They said I had a co-pay of almost $300. I paid that day. My insurance paid in full on September 8th. I've called several times (their billing customer service is overseas and they don't speak English very well at all). After more than 3 months they told me they mailed my refund December 4th. I never received it and I verified they have my correct address. Now they are telling me I have to wait 30 days to request a new refund. I was contacted by lyana Bracy who said she was the head scheduler for Simon Med. She kept me on the phone for 21 minutes trying to schedule 3 different appointments that my surgeon had ordered . She said she had never scheduled these kind of appointments before! She gave me 3 different places for the appointments and when I asked for the adresses amd phone # for these places she said no worry I will send all of that to your email which she repeated to me. I NEVER received the email !! I left 3 voice mails to her with NO REPLY! After calling the main number on the website I was given the adresses of my appointments and phone numbers to each. when I called these numbers to confirm my appointments my call was answered by someone in a foreign country who said they had NO way to confirm my appointments or connect me with anyone who could !!! When I checked into my first appointment they said we do not have a appointment or order for you! when I showed my copy of the order they said you can wait or make a appointment for another time! WAITED 2 HRS.!! First time for going to Simon Med and only because my doctor sent me! Will never go to them again and I HIGHLY recommend lyana receive some intense training on scheduling AND CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! read more

From my wife, JoAnna: I visited SimonMed in Surprise today at 7:17 a.m. to get an x-ray, and also on Sept 6, 2022, at which time I gave them all my insurance information. According to my records, they have been paid by both Medicare and my supplement carrier for the September visit. The receptionist today could not process me, because she could not verify my insurance information in her computer, unless I paid the copay of $6.56. She was taking people ahead of me, and because I was already waiting for 45 minutes, we just paid the copay, so I could get into the queue. When I arrived, there was a man at the counter who took at least 20 minutes to process while the line got longer and nearly out the door. The facility is understaffed. The waiting room is overcrowded with people not wearing masks, and no A/C, but there is A/C in the treatment rooms. Their computer system is slow, and the front desk person appears overwhelmed. Technicians come in late. In all fairness, my x-ray technician Shyam Moveadter (hard to read his writing) was on time and very professional. I let him know my concerns about their facility. Back in September I had gone in at 1:00 in the afternoon for an x-ray, and I did not get out of there until after 3:00 p.m., and again, overcrowding in the waiting area, no one wearing masks, and understaffed at the reception area. I blame the management company for these problems. I would not recommend SimonMed if you have an alternative. read more

I have walked out of this facility twice. It has to be the most mismanaged office I have ever been to. People are lined out the door. They run behind and can't seem to see you at your scheduled time. There has been confusion about my orders both times I came in. The office girls seem to be more interested in decorating the office for Halloween then serving their patients. My wife came in for a biopsy today. She was very nervous. She asked if I (husband) would be allowed to come back with her and was told no. Why would I not be allowed to go back with her especially since this is something that can actually turn out to be very serious. Not happy with this place. Update. My experience at the SimonMed Imaging location in Surprise, Arizona was absolutely fabulous. From the moment that I walked in, until they said goodbye as I left, everything was perfect. Robert was my technician for my body scan and he was very professional, kind, caring and made me feel very comfortable. I had a horrible experience at the Camino Del Sol SimonMed imaging location the day before. After waiting over an hour for my appointment, the technician told me that they were overbooked which is why I had to wait so long. She then told me that I was too tall, and she was too short to be able to do the scan properly. She told me that I would have to go to the Surprise location as they had different equipment. The front desk supervisor treated me like a major intrusion to their day. As I am deaf, I had to use captions to talk to all of these people. When I got to the Surprise location, I found out that they had the exact same equipment the Camino Del Sol had. I think everyone at the Surprise location thought I was making a story up about Camino Del Sol. How could a technician say that our height makes a difference for an x-ray? The Surprise Arizona location not only completed my x-ray but did it in a manner where I was very comfortable and was able to communicate with everyone. Thank you to Robert and everyone else at the Surprise location for making my visit so pleasantly memorable. It was quite a contrast to being a Camino Del Sol where I left in tears. Don't trust SimonMed imaging, they lied to me and my doctors office says I canceled my ex-ray. I have the receipt of my visit for paying 91.24 for ex-rays. They made a duplicate account and then canceled my ex-rays. I had to go there in person and show them my bill. They lied about my account 3 times. read more

I just moved to this area and needed to have my images released from my previous Radiology practice. This office had me complete the wrong paperwork, so my images never arrived for my appointment. They were unable to do the Diagnostic Mammo for a precancerous condition that I'm being monitored for. Totally unacceptable! read more

This review is not about this particular office but the scheduling department. Because of our referring doctor we had to schedule through Tricia Garcia to schedule our open MRI. This woman called my husband but because he was driving he asked her to call me. She never did even though she said she would right away. Since then both of us have called her twice and left messages with no responses. We were in a time sensitive situation so we ended up talking to Lydia who was wonderful but she could NOT get us the type of test that was specifically ordered in the time frame we now had because Tricia did not get back with us. This encounter has given us great pause when it comes to using SimonMed in the future. Two stars are for Lydia trying to make things right. read more

I have been attempting to get an MRI for 2 weeks. I am told the hold up is insurance approval. OK, I can understand that up to a point. However, I have scheduled this proceedure 3 tmes, and each time after getting a text asking me to check in online, I have found taht my appointment was cancelled. No text telling me that. No information about why it was cancelled so I had to spend lots of time either talking or online chatting with SimonMed reps. Bottom line: I've psyched myself up 4 times for a a very stressful procedure and no one had the curtesy to even let me kow! And no info on whom to call to figure out what to do next. I am EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED AND ANNOYED!! Yes, I am also frustraged by the United Healthcare and have complained to them as well. Being in constant pain is not good and companies I pay dearly to help with medical issues are NOT HELPING! We need universal healthcare. read more

I've always used this SimonMed for any imaging. Everybody there try to make things right for patients. One time my appointment was somehow not established and I was upset but they worked me in on same day. When I forgot to bring my order, they called my doctor's office and got a verbal order so that I could be seen. I'm not really happy with their payment procedure but that's not really their fault. Was told they would take care of getting the records. Arrived day of appointment only to be told that they didn't have the records, had neglected to contact me, and I would need to go personally to get the records. A 3 hour RT drive. I was worried since they so those on a walk in basis but right after my mammo they escorted me to the xray dept and I was promptly called in for those too. This has been the absolute worst place to try and give my business to. I have spent hours trying to set up an appointment. The telephone representatives are the worst you can find. I have been transferred 4 times on the phone called with my doctor on the line and they still can't figure out where my paper work has gone, I am highly concerned about my personal information.
