Best movers I've used - after 6-7 companies in 2 years I used Simple on August 13, 2026 and I can't recommend them highly enough. I've booked 6-7 different moving companies over the last 2 years for myself and my boyfriend, and Simple was by far the best experience. My situation was complicated - I moved out of a very large home and thought I was buying a house, but ended up having to move into an apartment. So I had them empty TWO 16-foot PODS into their truck and then bring everything to my storage unit. I have a lot of belongings and a lot of very fragile things that I'm planning to sell, and they were incredibly careful with all of it. No damage at all. The crew was polite, very helpful, and worked so hard even though it was extremely hot outside. They showed up on time, communicated clearly from the quote to moving day, and worked efficiently without ever being careless. They took the time to properly protect my furniture and belongings. They are honestly the best value movers. The pricing is fair, yet they provide you quality service. They helped me move my 1 bedroom apartment which I probably should have hired more than 2 movers given owl the furniture and stuff I have but they got it done. Nothing broken, everything wrapped, and they provide all the furniture pads and materials (even wardrobe boxes!). Great guys! We were moving from a 3-bedroom house in Houston to DFW. After checking the reviews and getting a fair quote, I went with them, and that was the best and the least stressfull moving I ever had. I used their packaging service, and I'm so glad I did. They gently and firmly packaged all the dishes, furniture, TVs, mirrors, etc. After I saw how thoroughly they wrapped my china cabinet glass and shelves, there was no surprise to see all my belongings in the respective rooms at the new house with no losses at all (my first time not breaking or damaging something during the move). They delivered everything to Dallas the next day, took away all the packaging waste, and the final invoice matched exactly the estimate, which is rare. So, dont be afraid of the slightly higher initial price, since these guys are honestly charging you exactly for the high-quality service you get. I can't say enough about the company and movers that helped me. I had a last minute move but they still got me in. Came ahead of schedule and assisted with taping boxes, etc. Quick and efficient. Hired 2 movers but could have used 3. No damage to anything and they had garment boxes to help with clothes. I thought I would be making multiple trips to get my clothes. Shrink wrapped my mattress with is huge for me since I don't want them dragging on dirt. I'd choose them over and over again. read more

Loved my experience! I will be honest that setting up the appointment with the person over the phone was not pleasant. He was just rude and I almost went with someone else, but glad I stuck with them. I was so unprepared but thankfully they were with plenty of boxes to pack even more than I expected. I wish I remember both of the movers' name but I know one is Ben. Ben was extremely helpful and they both did such a great job in 6 hours and I had a lot of stuff. Simple Moving was the best local mover that I dealt with. I don't know if they do moving everywhere but they are especially great for local moving. They are nice, flexible and honest and above all fair and reasonable. Most movers have hidden costs and unless you are somewhat experienced, you can be in for a bad surprise at the end of your move. Simple Moving discusses all the details with you and all costs are transparent followed up with a quote. No signature required and NO down payment required. They charge by the hour at about $89/hour for 2 men and a truck. The truck has everything you need for your move as desired. Any additional cost tbd The fuel and drive time is simply $89 only. I dealt with Max and he was really wonderful and understanding since I moved my date a few times. And changing dates is okay with them if you need to do that. I moved from my 5 bedroom house in Encino (Los Angeles) into a 4 bedroom in San Diego. Reviews were mostly good. I liked their simple approach to quoting the job. They gave "good phone". All was good prior to showing up. On the move day, the guys showed up on time and were nice. I did a walk through with them as there was a bunch of stuff I had put to the side to leave behind for trash, donation, etc. I was specific and said I was available if any questions as I was moving things with them. My major issues were: 1) They took everything without thinking about it so I landed up in my new smaller house with trash, donations, etc which is a pain. Now I have to take a few trips back and return things that belong in LA 2) Many of the boxes landed up in the wrong place as they didn't ask what to label what they were packing. A pain as a single dad moving boxes from downstairs to upstairs days after when unpacking. 3) They delivered some boxes upside down which was especially bad for all the cleaning supplies that leaked, etc. 4) They didn't bother to wrap my very expensive picture frames which got scratched. They just put them back to back into a box. The very least could have used paper if not bubble wrap. Again, the guys were nice and I tipped them all before i found out all this stuff. I've had a mover before who actually thinks before they act. Who actually thinks about how easy they can make it to unpack once they're gone. Unfortunately he only did local moves. A bit conflicted writing this review because while there were many things this company did well, there were also a number of things that could have been done better The good: They were very responsive on Yelp messaging, and confirmed with me 3 movers for my needed move day. I had read some reviews about movers never showing up on promised/scheduled days and when I reached out to the owner to make doubly and triply sure that the movers I requested would be there the day of, he confirmed with me that they would be (and they were.) The young men they sent to help me with the move were well meaning, polite, and hard working. They are very good workers and certainly seemed like they were trying their best to be as efficient as possible! I had a large number of items that needed to be moved and I was worried that it'd take the whole day to get the move finished. Thankfully it "only" took them 5 hours to get it all done. I was quoted $134/hr for 3 movers on a weekend day, which was by far the best price I was given compared to their competitors. The things that could have been better: There were a number of my furniture items that got damaged during this move. They also knocked out a chunk of the wall from my home during the move. There was a lack of clarity on pricing. All other competitors would give me straight up a cash price and a credit card price when I was looking for quotes and deciding on which moving company I wanted to go with. I was only quoted the price of $134/hr with drive time from the owner. Perhaps it was my mistake of not asking if the credit card price would be different, but all the other competitors had clearly distinguished between the two and also quoted much lower credit card prices than this company. Because I wasn't notified ahead of time of a different hourly rate if I paid with card, I was quite shocked at my final price. Had I known that there would be that much of a difference in pricing ahead of time, I would have taken out more cash from the ATM the night before in preparation for the move. All in all, they're not bad. But keep in mind that the going rates are a bit higher if you pay with card and that there are other companies that won't charge you as much if you pay with card read more
