I found a couple of items I can't wait to wear. the pajama sets they have are top quality. They are very similar to the sets I've found in high end bed/linen company's in town.I've also purchased a cute top that gets me many compliments and a leather purse that transforms into a backpack. They have many items including jewelry and beach items. I'm telling you, come and find your next item you can't live without.

As other reviewers have said, the store owner seemed a little awkward at first and looking quickly at the items, I did not see anything of interest. However after speaking with her a bit on what I was looking for, what types of occasions I dress for, she made some excellent recommendations that were unique, stylish, and, most importantly, comfortable. I've bought from Simi's a couple blazers and tops for work plus a beautiful forever black top for cocktail and dressier events. The shop owner impresses me because despite me not shopping there constantly, she remembers everything I bought, which helps her make even better recommendations next time. I'm considering sending my husband there alone when he has to buy gifts for me because I trust Simi!

Thoroughly impressed with my first visit to On the Run Shoes. It's been at least 20 years since the last time I had the kind of full service shoe shopping that they provide here. I arrived on a Saturday around noon, was greeted immediately upon entering, and was asked if I was in to browse or if I needed assistance. I chose the latter and was assigned very promptly to the sales specialist Will. He had me sit and asked me questions on what I was looking for. I told him about my new work situation and he asked what kinds of aches and pains I was experiencing in my feet at work. I told him it was primarily in the arch and ball of my foot and I was mostly worried about my knees and lower back. My job involves shipping and order fulfillment and I work out of a converted home in the city - all day long I'm either standing, carrying boxes up and down stairs, or running around doing various tasks. It's rare that I sit unless I'm on my lunch break. Will also had me take the shoes I was wearing off and walk back and forth in my socks so he could analyze my gait. Then he measured my feet and turns out that my shoe size is more of an 8 or 8.5 - I'd been wearing size 7 for years! After the consultation Will brought out three pairs of shoes for me to try. HOKA, New Balance, and Brooks. He put them on me and laced them up, then had me walk around in them and give him feedback. I figured out pretty quickly that the New Balance shoes felt the best - the other two were a little too roomy and wide - I like the feeling when a shoe is hugging my foot and is secure. I was also recommended to get special cork insoles for greater arch support and stability. Will put those insoles into the shoes I chose and had me feel the difference. I ended up purchasing both the shoes and insoles. Total with tax was just a little over $240. It's the most I've spent on shoes in decades but it's worth the splurge being that I'll be wearing these at least 5 out of the 7 days each week. At checkout I was told of their return policy - only store credit and the shoes have to be in re-sellable condition. I doubt I'm going to have problems with these after the very thorough consultation and selection process. Thank you to everyone and especially to Will for an amazing experience. I'll definitely be back and also highly recommend anyone to go here if you want happy feet. I take public transport in the city and the 44 MUNI drops me off literally across the street from the shop at 9th and Irving.

I experienced the most unpleasant transaction shopping at Simply Bella on 10/17/2011. There were several sweaters hanging outside advertised of what I believed was 50 percent off the original price. I tried on a sweater from the sale rack out in front of the store. The sleeves on the sweater were much too long and I returned the item back to the rack. The sales clerk (owner of the store) brought the sweater back over to me and asked me to please try it on again. I tried on the sweater and explained to her that the sleeves on the sweater were much too long. She smiled and told me how lovely the sweater looked on me; and, the long sleeves were part of the Fall fashion. So with that in mind and the 50 percent discount I decided to make the purchase and have my Taylor altered the sleeves. After she rung up the sweater I noticed there was no 50 discount off the original price. I asked her about the discount and she curtly replied that it wasn't 50 percent but only a 15 percent discount. When I left the store I looked again at the discount sign. She had a hand written in red 15 % discount sign. It was interesting to see how the red on the number 5 was much darker/bigger than the light number one. It was easy to see how I was confused thinking it was 50 percent discount. I've took a picture of the sign to show my friends. Later that afternoon I tried on the sweater for a close friend to see. My friend told me the sweater didn't fit properly because the sleeves were too long. She contacted a family member employed at Nordstrom who found the exact same sweater but at a much lower price! That EXACT same sweater had SLEEVES ending exactly at the WRIST. The very following day I kindly returned the item to the owner explaining the problem. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused to refund me for the purchase. To me this transaction indicates more than a few basic things: -- Hesitancy to stand fully behind your products -- The desire to make your customer pay for unsatisfactory merchandise. -- Lack of understanding/ agreement about what constitutes a good customer experience. I find it hard to believe that West Portal Avenue would allow a merchant to conduct such a business. Simply Bella doesn't care about her customers and is in business to make a quick buck. I've told all my friends and family about the quality of merchandise at Simply Bella. More importantly, how unprofessional and rude the customer service is at Simply Bella. read more

Simply Bella is fantastic little boutique!!! What a friendly and warm place! I actually discovered her shop by accident, through a friend of mine. When I popped into the store to take a peep, I introduced myself, and it turned out that we have so many of friends in common. Simply Bella cares Great Euro design of Clothing, that well priced, there were all sizes, everything was of good quality, and unique design. Bella helps you to find your own style and your size. Yes size! I never was able to find my size in the similar stores. She dressed me up from top to bottom! Simply Bella has a great range of party Clothing, simple Clothing, stylish Clothing, and standout designer Clothing. I frequently travel to San Francisco and on a was recent trip visiting some friends I stumbled upon this gem in the West Portal area. Being from New York - I don't usually seek out or do much shopping when I visit San Francisco but this store had such an amazing selection of unique pieces (clothes, shoes and accessories) I had to purchase several items. I had a great experience at Simply Bella, such wonderful customer service and will definitely return when I visit San Francisco in a couple of months. You're better off shopping at Macy's or Nordstrom. Extremely limited selection of clothing. Customer service is disgraceful (worst that I've EVER encountered). Like the original Wilkes, Button Down offers beautiful Italian and European styles, along with famous brands and their own private label. They also carry luxurious accessories for men and women.
