Beware Simply Bella! Ordered two items. Only received one. The packing slip was marked "Refunded" for the item I did not receive. Never got the refund to my credit card. Sent an email to Bella asking for the refund. She never responded so I opened a dispute with Visa. Bella told them I received both items. So dishonest. And so not fun getting ripped off. I've been hanging onto a fashion secret. Now it's time to come out of the closet. I get *all* of my clothes from one place: not Macy's, not Nordtrom Rack, not Anthropologie. SIMPLY BELLA. Why? First of all, because they fit and flatter. Secondly, because the styles are up-to-the-minute without looking like you are trying too hard, Thirdly, because I love going there and always leave with something that makes me look and feel amazing. And lastly, because they are quality pieces that last for years. I used to consider myself hard to fit. I would wander between the regular and plus-sized sections of stores, thinking all of it was "not me". Boutiques never seemed to carry my size. I can't tell you how nice it is not to have to choose a "department" based on my body shape. Everyone from petite to not-so-petite can find something at Simply Bella! My final recommendation is that if you try just one brand from this store, try Simpli. It's a line out of Canada and they use the most exquisite heavy knit fabric that drapes, but had enough substance not to cling. It's truly amazing and looks good on everyone, and the colors are beautiful. The black is the "right" black, saturated and deep. And no dry cleaning necessary, just wash and dry overnight. Best travel clothes ever! It is the foundation of everything in my closet, and I can't believe I lived so many years without these pieces. I am still slightly in shock after spending the amount of money I spent today at Simply Bella, but for once, there is not an ounce of regret. I am now the proud owner of a small pile of a very stylish, timeless, comfortable, quality, flattering, unique, "Belly? What belly?" type of clothing. Seriously, I have not felt this hot in years. Bella was very warm and welcoming and immediately went to work helping me find fabulous pieces that were just my style and fit. I started working at a law firm above this store a little over three months ago. I'd been eyeing a pair of shoes so I went in to try them on. The woman/owner was already unpleasant -- someone who does NOT seem happy doing what she's doing. However, the shoes had been on my mind so I tried them on (she gave me a demonstration shoe, mind you, and only one). They were $110 with tax so I hesitated. She said she would not hold them even for the rest of the day, and albeit I work right above the shop. So I bought them, thinking I could return them later if necessary. When I got up to my office and tried them on they were too tight. I looked online and found a FOURTEEN (14) day return policy which reads "returned items will be credited to the original form of payment" so I expected a refund on my credit card. When I tried to return the shoes within the two weeks, I was told she was on vacation and had to be the one to handle the return. When I returned to inquire with her I was told that there are NO refunds and that the online policy is her husband's? She accused me of yelling at her while she yelled at and interrupted me and refused to agree that "the customer is always right" while I was trying to ask for an exchange for the demonstration pair, which turned out to be another size entirely from the box she gave me to purchase originally. Finally she gave me the demo pair. I told her I will never shop at the store again albeit it is right downstairs from my office, that I would YELP her store, and warn others NOT to shop there. read more

I came upon this store this afternoon, after getting a mani-pedi. The clothes were a little off-beat, unusual, but grown up. Very stylish. A really good selection of shoes as well. Right now, the owner, a very charming woman named Bella Sag, only carries to extra large, but she assured me that she is actively looking for quality plus sizes as well, to carry a well rounded collection. I just left this shop and with 2 new dresses....love them. The selection is very different from what is out in the trendy stores which I really liked. I would have liked to see a few more things that did not require leggings as part of the outfit but perhaps that is what makes it so special. I will definitely be back. This boutique Simply Bella is the worst I ever been too also the clothes are not of such high quality. Yes at first the owner is really nice to you in order for you to buy. For example brought a pair of supposedly good quality European shoes and when trying them at home I got blisters on the side of my toes. Also the blouses made of modal which look really nice. At first I didn't know why modal was so I asked the owner she said it was like cotton so knowing this I brought it but to my surprise the fiber is made from beech trees which in some people can cause an allergic reaction. When purchasing from this boutique and she gives you the receipt please read the fine print on the bottom that says only store credit within 5 days she doesn't return your money. Which she should explain to everyone when signing the receipt. read more
