    Tear in jeans
    Katy G.

I found a hole in the rear end of pair of way high sailor jeans after two washes. I expected more for $125! I noticed a tiny hole in the side belt loop shortly after buying them and made the mistake of thinking I'd mend them. They sat on the mending pile for so long that when I got around to wearing them again, it was outside the window in which Everlane was willing to do anything about it. They did offer $25 repair credit, but I'd have to be a special kind of fool to trust pants that already tore in two different places. I have been a longtime customer and I thought they were a quality brand so I'll be honest, I expected a little more for such a spectacular product fail. I guess it's a little silly to expect that just because you feel loyal to a brand that they would do anything special to help you. The kicker is that the tear must have happened when I put them on, so I went to a party like this! I guess the silver lining is that its good to know which strangers are nice enough to tell you your underwear is showing.

Am really surprised by the low scores for this location! I visited this Everlane location for the first time a few months back, and though nothing exactly stood out (neither positive nor negative) about my shopping experience, I'd say it met my expectations and I walked out with a few pieces I'd had my eye set on for awhile on their online store. As a loyal Everlane customer, I had been curious for a visit to the store in person. Walking in, I was greeted by the employees and was taken care of during my fittings in the changing room. The employees checked in with me a few times while I was trying on a few things. Maybe it was the time of day I went, but for a Saturday afternoon, the store didn't seem overly crowded at all and my wait time for a changing room was about 10 minutes. Thought it was a great added convenience that they have a paging system to alert you when it's your next turn in the queue. I do agree with a previous reviewer that the only two registers opened at any time is a bit ridiculous, especially given that the checkout line spanned about 6 people when I was waiting. Overall a good shopping experience! I think I'll prefer to shop strictly online and I would come in person again to try on items I am unsure of my size in to avoid the return hassle.

100% SF. As far as I know the company is an SF startup. I saw it through one of the Instagram influencers and I must say they have minimalist chic styles for both men and women. Their most popular shoe is the Day Glove. Some of their items are only sold online. However, if you order items in store, they offer free expedited shipping! But it never hurts to try it on in-store than risk returning the product for ordering the incorrect size. Saves you time and the hassle, if you will! The store looks very clean and chic :)

Popped into this location again. Service is still trash. Encountered about 5 employees and none of them offered to help us.

Rude staff, refused to help with a purchase/return situation they created. Lost my refund and treated poorly. Not going back.

    Ask the Community - Everlane

How do I return an item by mail without going to an actual store or a Happy Returns bar because there aren't any in my state?

Is the store open today (Black Friday)?

I am driving up from San Jose on a Sunday to make a return (and hopefully exchange) -- is the store still open on Sundays from 11am to 7pm?

    They should be?

What is the phone number of this store?

n a link that was on a friends facebook page. She is a fitness instructor so I thought that this was legit. Looked at the product and then clicked to possibly purchase. Clicked autofill by mistake becasue it wouldnt let me go back.…

Does the store carry men and women clothing?

Yes! Both Men and Women's tees, fleece and pants.

Does anyone know peak weekday hours here? As in when there's the most people?

Week days are pretty steady throughout the day. The spike usually comes 6pm onward, after work hours for most people. Generally, the store is most popular on weekends, as there is likely to be a line to enter then.

I don't usually write reviews, but this one is long overdue. Therapy Stores on Valencia Street is,…read morewithout question, one of the most special places in San Francisco. It's more than just a boutique... it's a warm, welcoming little pocket of joy in the middle of the Mission. One of the reasons I keep coming back (beyond the incredible gift selection and stylish, inclusive clothing) is because of the owner. She's owned this family-run business for over twenty years, and you can feel the love and intention behind everything in the store. She's one of the kindest, most humble people I've ever met, and every interaction with her reminds me why supporting small businesses matters so much. What really blows me away is that she always remembers me. Every time I walk in whether it's been a month or six she greets me by name and asks about my family. She remembers the little things: that my best friend I normally shop with here got engaged, that my dad fell ill last year, even what kinds of gifts I usually gravitate toward. It's such a rare and genuine connection, and it makes shopping there feel personal in a way that big stores could never replicate. Beyond the amazing people, the store itself is beautifully curated. You can find gifts for everyone !! From toddlers to grandparents, quirky coworkers to stylish best friends. Every item feels handpicked, and the range is both thoughtful and playful: hilarious greeting cards, cozy home goods, funky socks, beautiful clothes in all sizes, and unique accessories you won't find anywhere else. It's also incredibly inclusive and community-minded, with products that celebrate all identities, orientations, and body types. In a city that sometimes feels like it's losing its soul to chain stores and tech monotony, Therapy on Valencia is a refreshing reminder of what small business can and should be. A place with character. A place with heart. A place that feels like home.
