A friend of a friend was celebrating her birthday and singing for open mic night. She invited us to go. I really did not know what to expect but I did know that it was a neighborhood bar atmosphere. Parking was ample and we were able to park in front. You could hear the music from the outside and the doors were open. They also have a nice little patio that advertised they had had a barbecue earlier in the day. We walked in the front door to this very eclectic small bar and made our way to the front to find our seats with the birthday girl. The tables and chairs were tightly packed, and it was a little challenging to navigate. It was quite loud, but people were clearly having a great time. It was a fun atmosphere and lots of people were dancing. The musicians kept rotating out and different genres were performed on a very crowded stage. You can tell it's a locals' favorite spot and people seemed to know each other. It was definitely an older crowd that night as well. It's a funky little dive bar with a great energy (at least the night we went). They have a calendar of events on the wall behind the bar. They have different kinds of music and different foods depending on the night. If I am in Encinitas and wanting a drink or non-pretentious environment, I would return.

We walked around though many different gardens. From the rainforest of Africa and past the waterfall to the desert area with native plants. There was an example of a Native American village complete with hut and grinding stone. We hiked up to the look out point where you can see the Pacific Ocean. There is a children's garden, playhouse, and a sandbox with toys. There are walking trails through out and many benches. I highly recommend bringing water, a hat, sunscreen and snacks. There is a small gift shop with a small selection of snacks. They have a large selection of plants to purchase!!

When I first arrived, I had a little trouble finding the front entrance because there are several buildings on the property. Once I found my way in, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and peaceful the grounds are. There is a lovely tropical area with a koi pond that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. They also have a really nice gift shop with so many unique items to choose from, including teas, crystals, lotions, and other fun wellness and self-care products. It was definitely worth taking some time to browse. I had a wonderful experience with my massage. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. My niece also had a massage there and had a great experience as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Four Moons Spa and can definitely see why it's considered a hidden gem. From the moment you arrive, it feels like you've stepped into a serene healing portal. The lush gardens, koi pond, mature trees, cozy outdoor spaces, and thoughtful details create an atmosphere that immediately invites you to slow down and breathe. I had an amazing massage with Violet, who struck the perfect balance between relaxation and therapeutic care. She listened to exactly what my body needed and I left feeling completely renewed. Thank you, Violet! My facial with Alexis was one of the best I've ever experienced. The highlights were the lymphatic drainage massage, the cooling ice globes, and the incredible hydration my skin received. My face felt sculpted, refreshed, and absolutely glowing afterward. Thank you, Alexis! The spa itself is just as memorable as the treatments. We enjoyed relaxing in the tranquil outdoor spaces surrounded by greenery, the peaceful koi pond, and the calming ambiance that makes it easy to forget you're only minutes from San Diego.

We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The ones we picked were: -Jasmine orange oolong - Coconut milk green tea - Earl grey lavender - Vanilla cream -Strawberry rose champagne oolong tea My top two favorites were the jasmine orange oolong and the coconut milk green tea. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. All in all, I would definitely come back for another afternoon tea experience!

Also the flex area is spacious and the other members are generally nice. The tables are large. Also the dedicated desks are nice. On the down side, the private bathroom has a shower which in inadequate and virtually unfunctional. The water trickles and takes over a minute to warm up. Drainage is also poor, leaving excess water and suds on the floor. Also easy to track water into the rest of the bathroom. The sink is also poorly designed. It also doesn't drain well, so you have to manually rinse away the suds with your hand, and water tends to splatter on the floor. On busy days, parking can be limited. Finally, the owner called me out for staying to late, until 9pm. According to my membership, I can stay until then, but he said that, since I was the only one there, I was using up too much electricity, thus not making it cost effective due to the energy bill. Can you believe that? Again, on a positive note, the people are nice and the place is very professional and clean.

Her ability to provide florals for an immense variety of locations and needs is a testament to her skill and eye for design.
