6.7.26: Was on a mission to find a soft baked peanut butter cookie. The staff were friendly as you walk in. The shop was cute and laced in pink everywhere! lol. They offered a protein pb cookie & I was hesitant as "protein" is being shoved into many foods nowadays often offsetting flavors. The cookie was not bad (not peanut buttery) I assume as the protein may have neutralized the pb taste. But it wasn't bad at all. Only thing is the amount of plastic waste. Cookies are baked locally elsewhere and in a vacuum sealed type of bag but then when you buy, they place that bagged cookie in one of the shops cute pink designed plastic baggies which is just unnecessary plastic waste.
The strawberry matcha is the best ! The service was great and the cafe is adorable and decorated so cute too ! The ambiance is chill and very clean too
What can I say, every single time I've gone there every single employee has gone out of the way to make me feel special. Their drinks are out of this world and so are there sandwiches. If you're visiting Scottsdale or you live in the area, stop by and try Simply shrooms Café.
This is such a cute place. I love matcha struggle to find it when I'm traveling and this place had the most delicious and diverse Matcha menu. I got a Matcha latte that had lavender in it with oat milk and it was so good and delicious. Really high-quality too. The service is so sweet and kind. It was one girl working because I came here pretty early and she was very hospitable and quick with making my beverage and food.
Pink, peppy, and puppy friendly! I love that everything has shrooms in it and they have such a singsongy staff! I would love to have the same sorority experience every morning! must be the shrooms that makes them so happy! i wasn't able to try the detox desserts this time or any of the food but save something for next time! Definitely loud but better than trying not to listen in on your neighbors convos!
I visited Simply Shroom Cafe for the first time on a Sunday afternoon to catch up with a gal pal. We wanted a unique cafe to check out as we caught up on life. I've tried mushroom coffees before and was excited! My friend on a diet ordered the skinny shroom latte (espresso, almond milk, sugar-free salted caramel syrup, 4-M blend), and I ordered the caramel shroom macchiato (espresso, milk, caramel syrup, vanilla syrup, 4-M blend). I didn't get to try her drink, but mine was way too sweet and the flavors didn't blend well together. I'm usually a sweet tooth, and caramel and vanilla syrups are not out of my comfort zone. Despite the coffee shop's ambiance being very cutesy, it ended up being very gimmicky. The workers were cutesy and very friendly too, but I definitely don't have high hopes for any other drinks and can't foresee myself coming back.
First time checking this spot out. Coffee was really good. Went with a cold brew with a vanilla foam, which was so good. Service was great, just had to wait a little bit since there was only one person working in the morning.
I love Simply Shroom! Had an appointment in the area and some time to kill was craving something on the sweet side but not too sweet. I decided to try the butterfly tea boba and I loved it!! The butterfly pea flower tea is mixed with something citrus that tasted like lemonade, on top of coconut milk that was creamy and coconutty and delicious, on top of brown sugar boba. Courtney was amazing and helped walk me through the menu and made the drink perfectly half sweet for me! The Boba was a little softer than traditional tapioca Boba/pearls you might get at other drink cafés and shaped into little cubes instead of balls. It tasted so delicious! I also tried to an Ube cookie which was very Ube forward and not too sweet. All the young women working were so outgoing and sweet and the decor was adorable. I can't wait to come back to Simply Shroom!
What a cute little boba spot in Old Town Scottsdale!! I was on the hunt for another boba spot in the area, as my coworker and I were craving boba. Thanks to Yelp, I found Simply Shroom Cafe! Not only do they offer a good variety of unique flavor combinations, but they also offer other sweet treats like cookies and pastries as well as sandwiches and salads. I will have to come back for sure to try their paninis! My friend and I got the Butterfly Tea Boba and the Banana Caramel Matcha. I loved the Butterfly Tea, it's pretty and tastes good, but isn't over the top sweet which I love. No complaints on the Banana Caramel Matcha, either. The dining room is adorable and boasts a wall with mushroom wallpaper. The tables are adorned with these little gold mushroom lamps. How cute is that?! The theme is very pink, ans pretty much all of the merchandise is pink, too. I liked the "M.I.L.F." hoodie, but wished it came in blue!! =( If you're in the Old Town Scottsdale area and parched from the heat, stop into Simply Shroom Cafe. You are bound to find something you will love! Already planning my next visit! ;)
Stopped by Simply Shroom Café in Old Town Scottsdale, owned by Crystal Carroll, and had a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, the space is clean, and the energy is great. My friend ordered one of their colorful boba tea drinks and it looked amazing -- bright, fun, and very tasty. It's always nice to see local small business owners investing in the community, and Crystal has created a really fun spot to visit. If you're in Old Town Scottsdale, definitely stop by Simply Shroom Café and check it out. Buceegram and Friends approve. This place was awesome! I can't recommend it enough, you've got to try Simply Shroom Cafe. My friend and I came here around 1130-12p on a Saturday and it was empty, but it did pick up while we were there. Parking is on the street, and I was able to snag a spot when I pulled up. The decor was beautiful, very whimsical and dreamy with lots of pink colors and of course mushrooms! The menu had lots to offer and I spent a good 5-10min asking questions and deciding what I wanted. Conner was a huge help! I LOVE boba and decided to try the Super Shroom Boba Latte. It was good, a great balance of coffee to boba. I also ordered the maple Dijon sandwich which really hit the spot. Very delicious. This cafe also offers lots of cute merchandise for sale and gummy supplements! I can't wait to come back here.

I highly recommend you come check this place out! We had a great time! We stopped in close to noon and it was empty at that time, but by the time we left a few hours later, the place was filled! My buddy got the scoop on a lot of the drinks and food and Conner was very helpful and friendly. I ordered a lavender matcha latte with coconut milk. All the drinks here come with their mushroom extract. Sweet! I'm a bit of a health nut and know the benefits of mushroom, so this was up my alley as I am trying to add more mushrooms of all kind into my diet. The drink was just ok for me. I also ordered their portobello sandwich and Conner said he isn't even vegan but love this sandwich. I am of the vegequarium persuasion and this sandwich was so good, but I think even if you weren't and like portobello, you would love this sandwich. So tasty, so fresh, lots of arugula. It was bomb good! The place inside is so cute with lots of pink and mushrooms, very tastefully decorated. It isn't very big and will fill up, so snag your seat! They also sell lots of cute merch too! This location is central to everything, so stop in, take a break, experience a shroom drink and definitely visit again! I know I will! I loved it here!
Great cafe on 5th Ave.! I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted right away. I tried the iced London fog matcha latte with almond milk which was creamy, floral, and perfectly balanced with the (I think?) hand whisked matcha. I recently ordered lunch delivery from Simply Shroom Cafe on a whim and I don't want to sound too excited but wow - I was blown away by how delicious my Caesar Wrap with Chicken was and I also loved the Passion Dragon Spritzer! The wrap was a perfect balance of shredded kale, grilled chicken, diced portobello mushrooms, crispy parmesan crisps and lemon vinaigrette (I chose that instead of the Caesar dressing but I have a feeling both are great. I tend to enjoy an iced green tea arnold palmer most afternoons, so I went with the closest menu item for my beverage of choice: the Passion Dragon Spritzer. It was such a treat. It is described as a "bright and tropical blend of green tea, lemonade, passionfruit, dragonfruit, and lychee gummies. But what truly sets this drink apart is the burst of flavor and beautiful color." So true! There are tons of other coffee, tea, matcha, sandwich, salad and retail items available on the menu... I can't wait to go try more and check this place out in person too! read more

Cutest little coffee shop. Not very big inside, with only 3-4 people standing in line, before it goes out the door. All their drinks have the tasteless proprietary 4-M mushroom extract. You can't taste it at all. I ordered the Cookie Crumble Shroom Latte with no whipped cream and it was very sweet. If you're ever thinking about giving them a try, do it, you won't regret it. read more

Was looking for a healthy, easy spot to grab a wrap for the plane. Got the kale Caesar salad wrap and it's really good! Tons of crunchy kale and croutons and slices of chicken. Feel like it could use a little more dressing to really soften the bristly kale, but otherwise a substantial. tasty option for lunch. read more
I came here to work for a few hours - it was slower when I got here at 9am but was pretty busy the rest of the four hours I was there! It's a very cute place inside, with pink and green decorations. Bright and airy. The green booth seating is a little high, so I couldn't work on my laptop from there, I sat in a chair across the table. I think this is more of a come with friends and family and hang out than work vibes but I had a great morning nonetheless. I appreciate the focus on healthier options and with the mushroom blend add-in for a nutritional boost. And you can't taste the mushrooms, so don't be scared. I also love that there's no extra charge for alternative milk, like truly amazing. I got the strawberry milk tea boba to try something new. It tasted like strawberry milk which was perfectly okay with me! I am not a huge fan of boba but I was surprised I liked the popping boba. Definitely a sweeter drink! I wish I saw I holiday menu before I ordered because the salted caramel cinnamon bun latte sounds amazing. Also appreciate there are gluten free food options - the place smells wonderful. Simply Shroom is absolutely darling! You've got to stop by this cafe, it's aesthetically pleasing from head to toe. The inside and outside has lots of seating for coffee, tea and bites. I got the skinny shroom latte. It's full of flavor and low calorie. We also enjoyed the berry spritzer. The boba is off charts quality. The drink was not overly sweet, great flavor. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed chatting with Chloe, she's a ray of sunshine! It's in the heart of old town. Give yourself some extra time to get a parking spot. LOVE the aesthetic and the staff is super friendly. Dog friendly with pup-cups which is key for me because I feel like when my little guy doesn't get something, I feel mom guilt for getting myself something and him having to just sit and watch I'm also a big fan of mushrooms as a supplement, and I love having an option here that has several options and multiple add ons. Also LOVE the wide variety of milk options! to note for anyone who really loves the firm room up in Payson... This is a very different vibe. That's way more granola/earthy (love their drinks and also love their vibe depending on the mood I'm in). This has a more upscale modern aesthetic which I also love. The meh-ok parts: The specialty drinks are a little overly sweet for my taste, so I'll have to remember that and ask for half sweet next time. Also to note: if you're like me and want your hot drinks HOT, tell them. I didn't and it was warm when I got it but cooled off way more quickly than I would like. read more

At first, I thought Simply Shroom Café was serving a different kind of mushroom--haha--but turns out it's just a great spot with seriously good food! I was pleasantly surprised that the coffee doesn't have a strong mushroom taste (thankfully!)--it's smooth, tasty, and totally drinkable even for non-shroom fans. The sandwiches are awesome, packed with flavor and made fresh. And the staff is always so, so nice--genuinely welcoming and upbeat every time I visit. If you're curious about the whole mushroom café thing or just want a chill spot with great food and good vibes, this place is worth checking out. read more

Here's a more professional, polished version while keeping your enthusiasm and key points intact: I had an excellent experience at Shroom Café. I truly appreciate drinks that are well-balanced and not overly sweet, and they delivered perfectly. I ordered two different chicken sandwiches, and both were outstanding. The sourdough panini bread was especially impressive--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I also tried the cookie crumble coffee, which exceeded my expectations so much that I ordered a second one. For anyone looking for coffee with functional mushrooms or a healthier alternative, this café is a great choice. Their sandwiches are clearly well thought out, and based on my experience, most items on the menu are likely a hit. If you prefer something fruity, I highly recommend the dragon fruit passion refresher--it was equally delicious. The customer service was exceptional; the young woman with dark black wavy hair at the front provided outstanding service and truly enhanced the overall experience. She was kind and outgoing. Her professionalism and friendliness are a major reason I would return. The café itself has a lovely ambiance--it's clean, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. This was a great first-time visit. I even brought a large group of about 15 family members, and everyone left extremely satisfied. I highly recommend Shroom Café. As a huge fan of mushroom and its aesthetic, this was very cute and absolutely a treat to explore! The menu was curated with shroom enhanced drinks. The barista was very well trained to provide detailed information on the menu and suggestions when you aren't sure where to start. Drink came out quickly and they even let me add more milk without charge! I ordered the shaken espresso and it was perfectly made, perfect ratio of espresso (as long as I waited for ice to melt a little which is totally normal) The decor was all mushrooms from the ceiling lights down to the walls and lamps. Very well decorated and designed, and none of it felt cheap or dusty as other extremely decorated places could be. The staff were incredibly nice and the ambiance was cheery and housed many girlfriends meetups, families, and those who just wanted to work on stuff. The WiFi and outlets work great! read more
