This place has been on my "to try" list for quite awhile, and I'm so glad I finally made it in. Stopped by with a girlfriend before a movie and honestly wish we had more time to sit and enjoy everything because YUM - the drinks were delicious and strong. I got the banana bread latte. The staff were super friendly and gave us a great overview of the menu. We were seated instantly on a Saturday evening around 6:30 at the bar, but by the time we left it was definitely starting to get busy. A great spot for drinks with the girls or a date night. Loved the vibes and will definitely be back!

Also, service is a bit unusual as you're sat down but to order, you have to go to the bar rather than have a waiter take your order. I tried out a Salt de Caramel which is one of their specialty alcoholic drinks and a ham and cheese croissant. This cost me $27.01. The alcoholic beverage was well presented and tasted nice. The ham and cheese croissant was warm and soft. Surprisingly enough, this restaurant also sells various snacks that you would normally find in a small convenience store.
I have been wanting to go to this bar for SO long!! My husband and I went out for date night and we went here for drinks after dinner. I love an espresso martini and these were to die for! The establishment is small but the wait was not long. We were seated in about 10 minutes and I could've spent the night there. My husband had to convince me to go home. LOL. The first round we had the "secret" menu item which was the carrot cake martini and old fashion espresso. They were delicious. We also had a banana bread martini, thin mint martini, and PB & J. I definitely had a second carrot cake, it was my favorite. I don't know if they're that strong of drinks or maybe it was because we spent a good 2-3 hours here, but they were delicious nonetheless. I will be coming back here and I 100% recommend you come visit!!
Fun espresso martini bar in the heart of old town! I would recommend for a happy hour, working Friday afternoon, or even a date night out!

Wasn't really there for food but the nitro brew was promptly delivered and mine was delicately crafted shortly afterwards - apparently they're having problems with customers jacking the glassware so they've come up with the brilliant idea of making candles with them to sell in the bodega next door ($35 each - very strongly scented) as well as some cookie butter syrup and other sweet items next to their unique taste in art and decoration that I thoroughly appreciated for a midnight coffee post meat feasting. Was the perfect end to the night. I had to lick the cream cheese foam off the sides bc it was so freaking tasty. Worth the extra few minutes-trust the process!! Wait staff was bubbly and apologized for the light dust on their antiques and shelving since they are a very open space with their bar harbor being a patio and spacious open in the front. Might I add their new polos and sweatshirts are the most adorable and I would rep one any Sunday fun day - holla atchyogirl!!!

They serve alcoholic coffee cocktails cleverly called "coftails" and regular coffee as well. The entire bar is beautiful and the lighting is gorgeous! They have an open window bar seating which splits the seating between inside and outside bar seating which was really neat. We were there around 7pm doing some shopping in the area and the delicious coffee smell drew us in! The night was young and we planned to go to desert diamond casino after so coffee was the perfect treat to keep us awake lol. I got an iced hazelnut latte which is usually my go to if they don't have the other usual flavors like pistachio or cookie butter. Drinks took a bit to come out but it was well worth the wait. For the price and the amount of drink you get, it was fantastic. I devoured that drink lol! It was hitting so good and maybe I was just deprived from a good latte the past day or so. If you're in old town, Scottsdale and you like espresso martinis, this is a must stop! I don't know the name of my bartender, but she was fabulous!
I've wanted to try this spot for a while and finally went with my friend on our Sunday funday! There's a great variety of espresso martinis and they are very strong but very delicious. The space is smaller but a very cute vibe. The service was good and quick. I think reservations would make this spot better at least for bugger parties. If you love espresso martinis, stop by this place cause it's so worth the experience
I love this cute little spot to grab a super delicious espresso martini or coffee. However, I do feel like on busier evenings, they need to hire more staff. I arrived on a Friday maybe around 4 or 5 PM, and I probably waited 15 to 20 minutes for my drink. I understand there's a high demand and that it's a small and busy spot but waiting that long for an espresso martinis is just unacceptable. As much as I love this place, the wait on is not worth it.

Hate to say I've had better espresso martinis BUT this place is so fun! Haven't been since it was previously Scapegoat, but love the renovation / new name. Well decorated and drinks are still delicious. Staff was kind and explained menu/how to order (order at bar + staff will bring to you). Parking is limited, so if you don't find a spot out front you might have to walk a bit from wherever you find parking nearby. read more
Was recommended to stop by this spot & wow was it an amazing time. We popped in on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't too busy but it's a cute little bar, we loved the decor & the vibes We were helped by Jocelyn & Mia who seriously made our day there. They were great hosts & made bomb drinks. I'm always down for an espresso martini & these were beautifully made and tasted so good. My mom & I ordered 2 diff ones so we can share and try them both. The banana bread was my favorite! It was my first time tasting an elevated espresso martini & I can't wait to come back. read more
A great addition to Old Town Scottsdale! It's part coffee shop, part bar, and 100% delightfully weird with eclectic decor, funky knickknacks, and a great mix of vintage and modern. There is a lot to look at, and many fun details to discover, which I appreciated. They can make all their drinks decaf, which is wonderful for those of us with caffeine sensitivity. Also enjoyed an almond raspberry croissant, which they warmed up for us and it was delicious. Service was very friendly, and we were seated immediately on a Saturday afternoon. The music was great, and kept at a reasonable level to allow for conversation. read more

Only giving 4 stars because I wish they had as many flavors for the coffee as they did the espresso martinis! Service was friendly and helpful. I only got a tea and my friend a coffee. I'm excited to go back and try the espresso martinis! Such a cute and chill atmosphere. read more

We use to hit this place up when it was scapegoat. This new concept is amazing. The vibe is awesome. The drinks are fantastic and the service is wonderful. The tequila espresso martini is one of the best around. Stop by for a pick me up before you go out to dinner you won't be disappointed. read more
The vibe, the music and drinks 10/10 We showed up around 11pm and the place was pretty packed but we only waited around 10 minutes to get seated. Hava, Katie and the male bartender (forgot to ask his name) were super friendly and very attentive. Hava took the time to explain the drinks and gave us a few great suggestions. The drinks were crafted perfectly. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. read more
The vibes were perfect, I wish I had time for an espresso Martini but I settled for latte instead! Which was incredible! I asked the barista if they had any signature lattes and she suggested a Cinnamon Toast Crunch, I believe it was cinnamon, honey, and brown sugar but I might be wrong. Three Beans Cafe is a great! Tucked a little off the main drag off Old Town, amongst plenty of shops and galleries, it's a perfect spot to grab a drink! Came here for the first time recently and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very intimate. It's not a big location so seating can be tricky. The vibe is awesome inside! The menu is straightforward. It's an espresso martini bar/cafe and their menu is geared toward that, in the best way! Great selection of drinks, including coffees. They even have a few pastries to pick from to eat. We tried the Aperol Espresso Spritz and the Espresso Martini. Both were equally delicious and very well made. Three Beans should definitely be on your list, especially if you're an espresso fan. We can't wait to come back again! read more

Stopped by for an espresso martini after having lunch nearby with my cousin. It was Sunday around 12:30pm and not too busy. I got the Three Beans espresso martini - Stoli vanilla vodka, Borghetti, three beans, and demerara. It was decent, though I expected better from a place that specializes in coffee drinks and cocktails. My cousin tried their off-menu Thin Mint martini made with whiskey and white chocolate. It had a nice minty flavor, but tasted nothing like Thin Mints without regular chocolate. I liked the classy, vintage vibe and decor of the place. The noise level was pretty low, so it was easy to hear each other talk. While I wasn't impressed with my drink, I would come back and try a different coffee cocktail. The menu says decaf is available, which would be great for drinking at night for those sensitive to caffeine like me. read more

Three Beans Cafe is exactly the kind of spot I love stumbling into. I had the Thin Mint and Julie went with the Banana Bread espresso martini -- both were outstanding. The flavors were balanced, creative, and honestly better than most "craft cocktail" bars that try way too hard. The vibe is what really sealed it for us. 70's music spinning, caddy rims on the wall, and cherubs literally playing basketball above a hoop -- it's quirky, intentional, and right up my alley. I enjoyed my 8/18/25 late afternoon coffee shop date with a friend but overall found it to be overpriced. Located on a street with many shops all around, there was ample curbside parking available. While the space is small, it is well-used with booths, bar seating, and tables. The interior contains a lot of wood, an exposed brick wall with a huge mirror to create the illusion of a larger space, and open selving full of decor. Service was quick and attentive and customers have the option to order at the register or have a server tend to your table. While Three Beans specializes in espresso martinis, it also serves coffee and coffee cocktails and ginesso, croissants, beer, and wine. After a long day of work, my gal pal and I opted to just try the $7 ham & cheese (mine) and $7 raspberry almond croissants (hers) as we didn't want to be up all night from caffeine. My savory croissant had a crisped cheesy exterior with the ham inside. It was a delicious snack but not the best croissant I've ever had in my life, especially for the price. Overall good experience, but I don't see myself itching to come back unless specifically invited by loved ones. read more

It wasn't too creamy which is how I like them, but still had a thick foam layer on top! The staff is very friendly and attentive. Stumbled upon Three Beans Café for Sunday Funday while celebrating a friend, and wow -- what a gem! I'd never heard of this spot before, but as a HUGE lover of Espresso Martinis, this place is a dream. Let's talk options... LOTS of them. Our crew went all in and ordered just about every espresso martini on the menu so we could sample them all. The Salt De Caramel was hands down my favorite -- smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. I also tried the Old Fashioned Espresso Martini, which was such a fun twist (I'm a big Old Fashioned fan so I had to go for it). Every drink was crafted with care, and it was a cool experience getting to try so many variations side-by-side. The space itself is small and intimate with a hip vibe -- perfect for hanging out and chatting. But what really stood out was the service. Our waitress was an absolute vibe herself, super fun and welcoming, and honestly one of the main reasons I'd go back. If you're into espresso martinis (or just want to try something different), this is 100% the place to go. Highly recommend checking it out! read more

This is the besttttt spot for some espresso martinis! We stopped by after dinner on Saturday and we quickly found three seats at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and she greeted us as we sat down. The inside was a lot of fun and the decor was so cute and unique. The music was on point and the whole vibe inside gave us a promising great time. Watching the bartenders whip up the drinks was very entertaining as they took their time to make each martini. We ordered three, one for each. We ordered: One PBJ martini- decaf One banana bread martini - decaf One banana bread martini - regular All three were made made and served at the same time. I ordered the decaf banana bread martini and it was the way to go as it was not as strong as the regular one. My friend had the regular banana martini and it did its thing and kept her up all night. They all tasted good though and the foam on top was soooo yummy. The inside is very small so I can see it getting very crowded when busy. Overall we had a great time! Service was great and we all enjoyed our drinks. Totally recommend! read more
10.17.25 - first time here and it was smaller than I expected. The place was packed on a Friday night. It's chill though. Luckily it was just my friend and I so it didn't take long to get a seat. I can't remember which one my friend ordered but I ordered the banana bread expresso martini. It was absolutely delicious! I'd probably order that each time but would also try a few others on the menu as well such as the salted caramel and maybe even the pb&j one. It's a good spot to start off at if you're in the area. My book club visited on Saturday around 10AM. Three Beans Café is such a cute, cozy spot. The baseball-themed interior is a fun touch and I really enjoyed the vibe. I had the bourbon espresso martini, The Dude, and it was delightful -- definitely see why they're known for their espresso martinis. I also ordered the brown sugar honey latte, which was okay, just not the best I've had. The only downside was service. We had free drink coupons from the owner, and one staff member got noticeably sassy when we used them, which felt unnecessary. Another employee was much more pleasant, so the contrast was obvious. I'd go back for the martinis and the atmosphere -- just hoping for a more consistent service experience next time. read more

Such a cute place! As an Espresso Martini lover this is such a great idea. Drinks start at around $20 and they have a few signature cocktails but can also order other drinks. This place is very small, but you order at the counter, and they'll bring your drink to your table & also have some select pastries. read more
If you are looking for some delicious espresso martinis and a great time look no further and come here! I tired out their PBJ martini - decaf and it was very good. It wasn't too strong and it was perfectly sweet. The bartender was friendly and they were all attentive. I love this place! read more

My friend introduced me to this spot and it's such a great place to come to if you want to get drinks but with a more intimate vibe. Great music and great service as well! The espresso martinis were good but pretty strong! Lots of parking available along the street. I'm interested in coming in during the day to try some of their cafe options. read more

If you're an espresso martini lover, this spot is definitely worth checking out. The drinks are on point--bold, smooth, and well-balanced. You can tell they take their espresso seriously, which I really appreciated. The menu focuses mostly on espresso-based cocktails, and they nail it. That said, the service was just okay--not super warm or attentive. It felt a bit transactional. Also, don't come here expecting a full meal--the only food options were a few croissants in a case, so if you're hungry, eat beforehand. The space itself is small and fills up quickly, especially on weekends. It's cozy but can feel cramped if it gets crowded. Overall, it's a great spot for a solid espresso martini and a chill nightcap--just know what you're getting going in. read more

They have a limited offering of pastries as well as about 6-10 different signature espresso martinis that are made fresh and with extreme care and precision. Phenomenal bartender / mixologist skills! A must stop if you're in Old Town or looking for a treat after dinner. Shout out to Eli and Mikaela! Drinks are phenomenal. I went with the Mochasado and she went with the Salted Caramel. Honestly can't go wrong with either. The Salted Caramel is a bit more on the sweeter side. Mochasado has a good blend with the espresso and dark chocolate. They also have a secret menu and I ordered the Dude. It was also very good and I recommend it. The secret menu also includes a Thin Mints flavor and heard it was delicious from the other people sitting at the bar. Go check them out! The bar itself is awesome and can be a casual hang our even a date night vibe. It's open seating and you order at the right hand side of the bar where the lit "order here" sign is. read more
Went here after dinner, I really wanted coffee. Usually, most coffee places closes early. So glad we stumbled across this place. The vibe and atmosphere is chill, not to loud, music selection was great. Super cute place and the decor is awesome. I just love this place, great concept. Im not a fan of expresso martini but my partner is. He did order banana bread and salt de caramel. Which both was fantastic, if I had to pick it would be the banana bread martini. I had regular basic coffee hot latte, which was really good. They do have croissants, wine and beer. The staff there was excellent, super chill and over friendly. Most definitely recommend this place, you would not be disappointed. I think this would be a great spot for like a first date. Go check this place out. read more

At Three Beans I ordered an off menu eggnog espresso martini that the bartender recommended and it was absolutely divine. Creamy, festive, and perfectly balanced, it hit the sweet spot between cozy holiday flavors and smooth espresso. Our group was seated almost immediately by the manager, who was an absolute gem (warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming). The whole vibe of the café is energetic and youthful, yet relaxed enough to sink into great conversation with friends. I love that they use real, freshly pulled espresso instead of cold brew or a syrupy coffee stand in. You can truly taste the difference in each sip. Between the friendly staff, creative drinks, and upbeat atmosphere, this place has definitely earned a repeat visit. We'll be back very soon!! read more
