I came here to pick up an on-line order. While I ultimately accomplished this, the employees at the pick-up area seemed to be a lot more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. When one finally broke off to help me, she was reasonably friendly, but seemed to struggle with finding my order and giving it to me. This was despite me pointing the item to her more than once (it was in a large box on the floor toward the front of the counter instead of the shelves with the rest of the online orders). Staff was extremely rude. I asked them to reprint my previous order which was in black and white they printed it in color. When I advised them of the mistake they told me that's the way I asked for it even though I had not. The employee proceeded to become belligerent. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told the manager was on break and i have to wait 15 minutes for them to finish their break. They finally went and got the manager and when the manager came out the manager immediately started attacking me verbally stating I'm not to treat her employees that way. The situation digressed to the point where I just pushed the products back across the counter and said I would take my business to another facility that wants to treat their customers appropriately read more

I stop here often to drop off Amazon returns. I don't shop here much, but when I have they are a decently stocked office store. Sometimes they have some useful clearance stuff like office decor that you might not otherwise purchase. read more

Just another day doing errands. If you know this area there are retail shops everywhere. I went to FOUR prior, one that sells groceries with my dog. Every single store was dog friendly. Go into this staples, a gentlemen with his "service animal" who works there kicked us out. He said ONLY service animals allowed. I was in the building and interacted with two employees that each greeted the dog. This guy just wanted to flex his authority. Between the attitude, the disorganization, and their made up rules clearly this is a very poorly managed location. I went to the staples across the bridge- all loved the dog and welcomed her. Avoid this location- it's filled with bottom feeders who get off on making up rules and feeding their egos. read more

Color looked fantastic, and team members were super-helpful in talking with me about different paper stocks, as well as projects that they could take on in-house, versus ones that would take longer because they would be outsourced. We had a very important print project. The staff here is very sloppy with their work. One of the worst teams we have ever worked with. They just kept making excuses trying to justify themselves. A staff person said my project would be done in three hours then end of that same day he never touched the project and only coming up with excuses, blaming others and the process. I will never use their services again!! Manager there also making excuses. They have no concept of customer service!! They did complete half the order the order, very sloppy work! Pages that were laminated are crooked, off center. No attention to detail. The balance of the order I had done at Office Depot in Hillsboro and they did it in 3 hours at the drop of a hat. The prices are always pretty good at Staples, so whenever need batteries,or other electronic stuff this is generally the place I will go to if there is one around the area. I ordered a Logitech webam online. I did not receive a confirmation email and after more than two hours I called customer service. The woman who answered the call had to put me on hold because customers came up to her counter. She did check back and ask me if I would continue to hold. (so I gave them 1 Star). Finally, she told me that my order had been cancelled because they did not have the item. I did not receive an email or a phone call advising me of this ! Finally, after she told me that they did not have the original item she told me that they had another model but was unable to give me the price because a new customer came up to her counter. HUH ? So, what am I , chopped liver ? Finally, she came back and I opted not to continue to hold. I got online and ordered the same original item from Best Buy and it would be delivered in four days. I did call back after I discovered on my online banking that Staples had charged my account for $69.99 ! Hmmmm.... sounds like fraud to me. Selling something you don't have and taking a person's money constitutes fraud ! When I called back the same customer service rep told me that my bank account would be credited within 24 hours. Also, said that the store manager says the policy is to wait on the customer in front of her not the one she was talking to on the phone (me). Obviously they have skewed priorities. When I pressed her about this she hung up on me. Never again will I shop at Staples. They need to remember how they treated customers like me when they go bankrupt ! Hopefully Staples Corporate reads these reviews so that they see how customers feel about their misguided customer service policies... read more

I went to Staples today to get an accordion folder and some file folders for it. They charged $28 for the most basic tier of each! As a working dad with a young child, it's not cost/time-effective for me to go hunting for a reasonable price at another store. I left feeling gouged for these two items. One of the best business Place in this pandemic situation Which still apprecite their each customers came in to their Place. They gave lot help for us when we are looked for replace Inks to our printing machine. I was in the Portland Jantzen Beach store Sunday. They had a display model of a Keurig 425 plus coffee maker. It was out of the box and was a clearance item. I had Staples rewards so I needed to go home to get those plus I wanted to check reviews online. Monday I went to the store to get it and was told that they had destroyed it!? WTF? The folks in the print center are awesome! I primarily dealt with Topher, but another gal (I didn't catch her name) was very helpful as well! They reprinted my business cards not once, but two times when I wasn't quite happy with them. The mistakes were no fault of theirs, just issues I had with the online ordering site. They were extremely helpful and nice about fixing the mistake and insisted I wasn't being difficult when I know I was. I appreciate you guys for going above and beyond! Thank you! read more

I like Staples so far. Great on line services. I had to emergency order some toner when my Amazon order was delayed. Staples delivered the next day, less than 24 hours from the time I placed my order. But when I needed to go into the store for something, the very kind workers were quick to come and assist me. But I was stunned when the lady who came to my assistance had to pull up her mask which she had pulled down while stocking shelves. This is the problem when in a closed place. Even though there's a "Mask Required" sign it negates the benefit when people pull it down after going inside. I understand it's not comfortable at all. And I sympathize that you have to wear one while on your job. But these are the times we live in. And that's why I go almost nowhere because of this type of noncompliance with safety rules. I know it's not just Staples. But makes me feel uncomfortable that these rules are not enforced for staff or customers. read more
