Ugh where do I start? Came to Scottsdale for my babymoon and totally blown away with this Thai restaurant. Totally did not expect such amazing food. We ordered the pad see ew, red curry, and pink noodle soup. All so amazingly food. Their Thai tea was on point. Totally recommend trying out the pink noodle soup. I have never had it anywhere else. The spice level is another thing. I love when a Thai restaurant is true to their spice level and not cater to the social surrounding. With that being said, be mindful on how much you can tolerate. My husband love our spice level and still only got 3/5 for the curry and pink noodle soup. A 4/5 for the pad see ew. Super spicy and so delicious. Tried this place months ago and not impressed. I can't stop coming back now. Massive improvements. The Crispy wing app is the best I have ever had anywhere. The curry dishes are amazing. Trying something new tonight and hopeful it will be amazing. I was actually sad when I tried to order on Sunday and they are closed but that is good management. Being open 7 days is not for a family run business. The heat is accurate, medium is medium. Very friendly staff too. But the web site was a problem when I tried to order online. This used to be Cha da Thai which was amazing - sorry they are no longer in business - they were our " Go to place for real authentic Thai food! They sold business to Simply Thai which is simply AWFUL! We ordered take out the other night and the drunken noodles were over cooked, bland and swimming in oil - not edible also got one of our favorites - Ginger Lover - tasted like vegetable soup swimming in oil and tasteless - only thing editable was the rice They tried to copy Cha da Thai menu and unfortunately their kitchen doesn't know a thing about cooking real Thai cuisine. My boyfriend and I ordered like 5 dishes because we just got done from working out and we were hungry. We ordered Tom yum soup, pad Thai, red curry, papaya salad, and beef slice salad all in Thai hot. Big mistake. Although we ordered all in Thai hot, spice levels were different. We love and have a high tolerance for spicy foods, but we could not handle papaya salad. We had one bite of it and could not eat. Should've ordered hot instead. Other dishes were fine. Did a takeout order... Noticed all containers were there so we went back to the room. They got our pad Thai order wrong and I ordered the moo ping-som tum and they straight-up left out the som tum (papaya salad). They were not busy and this just shows that they lack quality when making their orders or reading requests on peoples orders. We just dealt with it since we were worn out from travelling. I have eaten here a few times. I liked the food especially the Thai Fried Rice. The last time though it wasn't as good. I usually do take out. The last time I was there, I was disappointed to see they added a 25% tip to my bill that I did not authorize. I didn't notice it until I saw my Visa statement . When I eat inside a restaurant I will tip the wait staff 20 to 25% depending on the service. I usually don't tip when I am picking up food. I never do at fast food places. Maybe I'm out of touch but I don't appreciate an establishment doing something I did not approve of. I will take my business somewhere else next time. read more

we had come to this restaurant as a referral from a friend. I honestly don't know, is this Cha da Thai or Simply Thai? We thought we were going to Cha da Thai. We were seated right away, but it took over 45 minutes for our food. The appetizer, the salad roll lacked flavor. We ordered it with chicken which ended up being sliced deli meat. It was no good. We ordered pineapple curry with chicken, panang curry with chicken and red curry with chicken as the entree. All average for taste but more importantly we all bloated up like a balloon following the meal. The service was slow.......as in slow as molasses. What was most concerning was that they did not follow covid19 protocol at.all. We were seated in booths right next to other patrons. 4 booths in a row. No distance and no barrier. The server wore gloves but NEVER changed them and he touched the register, cash, the food, the dirty dishes and the takeout cartons. It was a complete lack of regard for the pandemic we are facing. We placed an online order, walked in to get it and waited in the lobby for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We waited 45 minutes in the lobby for a to-go order. We eventually left without our food because not one single person knew what was going on or wanted to talk to me and the other 2 people waiting for to-go orders. Absolutely a disappointment compared to the previous two Thai restaurants that used to be at the same location. Nothing in comparison to Swaddee Thai or Chada Thai! Glass noodles are not even glass, they are noodles drenched in brown sauce. Wide flat noodles are skinny linguini like noodles. A huge disappointment. I gave it my third and final chance.
