I am huge fan of the Simpsons. So as a first time visitor to Universal, I thought this area of the park was cute. Remember to look up and about to see the little details such as Sideshow Bob escaping from the penitentiary, and Nelson fishing from the second floor police station window. Peer into the first floor window of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant... go ahead and press the red button if you dare! Great selfie taking spots: Springfield road sign. Statue of Chief Wiggum and his police car in front of Lard Lad donuts. Statue on d Millhouse sitting on the bench outside of the Kwik- E-Mart. Statues of Officers Lou and Eddie in front of the police station. They have character meet n greets. Krusty the Clown was around when I was there. Not sure about the food at the eateries. But even if you do not eat at any of them, do yourself a favor and stop in to check out the design details. They have Luigi's, Moe's Tavern, Krusty Burger, Cletus' Chicken Shack, Bumbleman Taco Truck, Duff Brewery, Lard Lad Donuts, and Phineas Q. Butterfat's ice cream parlor. The food is carnival midway quality. The only ride in this area is the Simpsons Ride. It is a great concept, it is just sorely in need of updating with the latest technology.

Springfield USA at Universal Studios Hollywood is a Simpsons fan's dream! There is so much to do, see, eat, and experience. You will honestly feel like you're really in the show, the theming is so good in this area. Krusty Burger: In terms of food, my favorite place is Krusty Burger. As far as theme park food goes, it's a very solid choice! Filling, relatively inexpensive, and you get the cool theming with it too. The ordering section looks exactly like the Krusty Burger restaurant you see in The Simpsons. The area where you eat has a little more theming with items you don't see in the show, like a bookcase with fun Simpsons titles on all the books, a Krusty throughout the ages exhibit and more. The burger and fries are pretty standard but not at astronomical theme park prices. I ordered the Krusty Burger to stick with a classic, and it came with tomato, lettuce, cheese, and a secret sauce (similar to Big Mac sauce), as well as a side of steak-style fries. This is also one of the places you can try Duff Beer, so we grabbed a few of those. They said it was a lager brewed especially for Krustyland (and not just a relabeled version of another beer brand), so we were happy to try that. Lard Lad: Another favorite food/treat we had was Lard Lad Donuts! They have giant versions of donuts (like the size of a small pizza, but a donut!), and some small donuts that you can get as a single or four pack. It's a nice quick stop if you want a giant donut (that you will definitely have to share with a few friends), or a dozen regular sized Lard Lad donuts. Moe's Tavern: If you didn't grab a Duff Beer at any of the other places already, you should definitely stop at Moe's Tavern for one (or a second), because the theming is amazing here too, like everywhere else. So this is a good option if you're feeling like a nice drink in an air conditioned (and super well-themed) spot! The exterior looks exactly like it does in the show, and the inside was even better, having tons of fun Simpsons/Moe's memorabilia, like the Love Tester machine, a picture of the Be Sharps barber shop quartet, and a jukebox with a bunch of songs from the show. For drinks at Moe's we got Duff Beer again obviously, and also the Flaming Moe (non alcoholic). The Duff is similar to Heineken in flavor and super cold and refreshing, and the Flaming Moe is citrusy and comes in a little cup (that you got to keep!) with dry ice that makes it flame and smoke. For experiences, there is the Duff Brewery Beer Garden where you can sit outside and have a Duff or other cocktail, or nosh your food from one of the many Springfield eateries. There are also character meetups you can encounter throughout Springfield. We saw Sideshow Bob and snapped a pic with him, including the classic villainous tented fingers! And finally, the one "ride" in Springfield - the Simpsons Ride. I was super excited for this, as I had been a huge fan of the rest of the Springfield area, but it was a bit of a letdown for me. It's a 3D motion simulator, and I found out for the first time on this ride that those make me queasy, so be careful about that. The screen you look at during the experience is a giant IMAX screen, and (at least the spots we were in) the screen is pretty close to you. Because of this, you have to crane your neck a ton to see everything going on in the experience. So I left with a queasy stomach, neck ache, and headache from craning my neck so much. The theming is amazing and the technology of the ride is super cool. I just wish it didn't bang me up so bad in the actual execution. With that one hiccup of not enjoying the ride aspect, I still give the whole Springfield area a 10/10 for the theming, food/drinks, and overall experience of so many fun things to please this huge Simpsons fan!

I love Simpsons land. Between the great statues everywhere, the buildings and the many special guest appearances- how can you not love it. They always act like my best friends and family. The exact same way my real best friends and family act to me. Big smiles. High fives. No words spoken by them. Maybe I talk to much but my best friends don't really talk to me so it's cool to see the Simpsons family. I love everyone. Trust me. Love Always, Sir Wilby Everheardt

An amazingly nostalgic feeling will definitely come over you while walking through Springfield. If like me, you grew up watching this beloved family, simply known as The Simpsons. Fun fact: The Simpsons is the longest running American animated series with an impressive 36 seasons. The Simpsons ride was enjoyable. As was all the pitstops we made while in Springfield. Like high-fiving Bart as he walked around, sitting on a bench taking a load off next to Mill house, spotting Snake attempting to break out of jail, getting a bite to eat at Krusty burger, paying a visit to the Kwik-E-mart and even Moe's Tavern. And so much more...

Wonderfully themed, whimsical, and wacky! This is one of my favorite areas in the park as it's just so fun! Whether it's a large donut the size of my head, a duff beer, or a fun ride visiting Krustyland. This is a must see when visiting Universal Studios Hollywood.

They really did this park justice. It has all the hallmarks of a good theme park. Right down to the Kwik EMart, and of course, Krusty Burger. I really like the bright decor that matches the Springfield theme. You can grab a Lard Lad doughnut, drink a flaming Moe (for real, it is flaming with dry ice), and get your Duff beer on. They even have fun games here where you can win stuffed animals like Santa's Little Helper, or my personal favorite a large stuffer Duff Beer. There are tons of fun photo opportunities here for all you Simpsons fans who grew up watching this iconic cartoon!

Dooh Not only can you watch the Simpson's on Disney plus, you can visit the city here in Universal. Just like Wizarding World of Harry Potter, this place is amazing. From trying to escape from Eddie and Lou in front of the precinct, to seeing Abu at E-Mart to catching a glimpse of the Get your Lard On store selling the famous doughnuts. The place is straight out of the show. I didn't see the nuclear power plate but that's probably a good thing. It's a fun place with games and the small town everyone grew up on watching on tv. No I'm not talking about Little House on the Prairie. Of course, I did like that show growing up. Anyway.... Overall five stars. It's a great stop on the way to the Transformer's ride. (I know you read that review). Now excuse me, I want one of those famous donuts. M

Interestingly enough, a little history to start this one off, the Simpsons are from Springfield and the Springfield they are from is actually Springfield, OR. Never knew that the town was based off of the one in OR. Anyway, welcome to Simpsons Land or in my estimation a real life version of Springfield. Vibrant colors everywhere with replicas of many of the iconic town locations. This is where you will find the Simpsons ride along with places to shop and get your Simpsons gear and novelty items. There is even Moes Tavern and a spot to eat where they loop some Simpsons cartoons. Kind of a fun little area dedicated to all things Simpsons. If you are at Universal and plan on going to the lower level (which everyone should) you will have to go right through the center of Simpsons Land. If you are here and the ride line isn't too long - I'd suggest jumping in line - it only gets longer and longer as the day goes on.

Really fun part of the park for me. I like that it feels like a carnival with all the games. Lots of food options, and when we ate at Krusty Burgers they even had gluten free buns - nice. Fun souvenirs. There should be more outdoor seating. Had to kill some time here and it was a bit hard to find somewhere to sit.

I've been a diehard Simpsons fan from the very beginning when it was just a short on the Tracy Ulman show. I was so surprised to see so many of the stores and shops come to life. Moe's tavern, Krusty Burger, Lard Lad Donuts, the Kwik E Mart, Duff brewery and Senior Bees food truck, Luigi's Pizzeria. Theres even the love tester in Moe's tavern! I like how they brought food from the show to life. They have Krusty burgers, Duff Beer, duff light, the flaming moe (non alchoholic) Duff energy drinks, the Lard Lad donuts are huge maybe 8 inches? They are like $8 each, there seems to be a long line out side Lard Lad's but you can also buy them in the Kwik E Mart, not sure if the ones from the donut shop are fresher or not. I wish i would have tried either Krusty Burger or Luigis Pizzeria but i ended up eating at Harry Potter world. I liked the simpsons simulator ride but got a little sick from all the motion, so be prepared with some medication if you get sea sick. I loved all the details in bringing the town of Springfield to life even the things that were just store fronts, like Dr Nick Riverias' office, and Homers work station. I found myself exploring all the areas for more and more details like the upstairs dining area of Krusty Burger, Moe's tavern, and Duff Brewery.

I did enjoy the animated world coming to life! It was surreal. The theme park set design artists are gifted. My fave experience was Krusty Burger...one gentlemen taking orders and one directing the line. Nice Operation :) The Nuclear Power Plant getting ready to explode with loud boom noises and the final whistle caught everyone's attention. I joked it was probably Homer laxing on the job. Social distancing is still in order so seating was limited

    order up!

This place really brings the show to life! I love the Simpsons growing up and all the attention to detail really makes the guest feel like they are in Springfield. This was my first time visiting and it was so much fun. They play bits and sounds from the show through this section of the park. They have buildings from the show where you can shop and eat like the kwik-e-mart, krusty burger, and luigis pizzeria. I did not eat at any of these places since I brought my own lunch (yes you can bring outside food and drinks to universal!). There is so much to see and so many little details that you just have to go to find out. There are plenty of photo opportunities and the day I went the whole Simpsons family was available for photos! That day was raining on and off so they were located under the roof of the roller coaster off to the side but normally they are in front of the kwik-e-mart. If you collect press pennies you will probably be mad that all the penny machines here charge a dollar! That's right, a whole dollar! One dollar for one penny crazy! Due to that I only got like 2 pennies from the park, they do have penny books available for sale at the stores in the park. I did not get a chance to try the duff beer but they do have it available along with flaming moes in one of the local restaurants. Next time I go I will go buy a pink frosted donut, available at the kwik-e-mart and the lard lad donuts.

We were given tickets to enter the park all day. Free parking and a meal voucher to use uncertain foods throughout the park. We had choices, which was very nice. This was my first time visiting the Harry Potter world, Super Mario world, and the updated Jurassic Park (now Jurassic World) ride. I love the Mummy ride and the studio tour- those will always be my favorites! The staff are very friendly and helpful, which I was grateful for. Glad that we were also able to bring in our own drinks and food. Unfortunately, I was sad to see how most of the vibes seem to be VR and/or sceen-related. Now that I'm older, the VR/4-D stuff made me nauseous and hurt my head, especially the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey, Mario Kart, Jurassic World, & Transformers ride. As soon we put on the glasses for Transformers, my spouse and I immediatley took off the glasses. It also was disappointing how the Hippogriff ride was so short compared to the wait time. I think part of the "magic" and charm of the rides were the animatronics and the realism of everything. Hence, the Mummy ride is my favorite cause no screens or glasses are involved. The Jurassic World ride was also great because of the animatronic dinosaurs, but I could defeinitely do without the Mosesaurus part of the ride as there's no realism to it. The animatronics on the Forbidden Journey ride were really cool, but once the screens came on, I felt dizzy and got a headache. I loved seeing actors dressed in iconic movie and TV show characters walking out, made the experience more fun. I think this is part of the "realism" aspect that makes amusement parks like Disneyland fun. It was also kinda dirty and smelled like sewage in certain places of the park which was off-putting, like when waiting in line for the Mummy and the Harry Potter rides. I almost walked out of the Kung Fu Panda ride because of the high-impact motions of the moving chairs really hurting my back and neck. The movements of that ride was mostly blunt impacts on hard surface you see on the screen (hitting wooden beams, the ground, rocks, etc.) , and it was painful so I ended up sitting on the edge of the chair to not feel anymore of it. Definitely the worst thing out of the whole park. A bonus perk is because Universal Hollywood isn't as large as Disneyland, we were able to do all the rides and leave the park by 4pm (we got there right at opening).

The attention to detail throughout the entire area is incredible, from the architecture and music to the little interactive elements hidden throughout the land. Even if you're not a huge Harry Potter fan, it's still an experience worth visiting because the atmosphere alone is so immersive. One of the best parts was how well the staff stayed in character and interacted with guests. Team members were friendly, helpful, and did a great job managing the crowds, especially around the more popular attractions and shops. Even when the area became busy, employees kept lines organized and answered questions without seeming rushed. The rides were definitely the highlight. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was one of the most impressive theme park rides I've experienced. The wait time can get long very quickly, especially in the afternoon, so I highly recommend going early in the day if possible. Universal's app was helpful for checking ride times throughout the day. Flight of the Hippogriff had a shorter wait but was still fun, especially for families or anyone wanting a lighter ride experience. Food and drinks are expensive, but honestly the themed snacks and Butterbeer are part of the experience. Butterbeer is a must-try at least once. The frozen version was my favorite, especially in the California heat. Seating around the food areas fills up fast during peak hours, so timing your meals earlier or later than normal lunch times can help avoid crowds. The shops inside Hogsmeade were extremely detailed, but they do get packed. Ollivanders was one of the busiest areas during my visit, and there was a wait to get inside. If you want an interactive wand experience, be prepared for the wands to be pricey, but the interactive spell locations throughout the land make it more fun and worth it for fans. One thing visitors should know is that this area gets crowded very quickly, especially midday and during weekends or holidays. Taking photos can sometimes require patience because there are constantly people walking through the main pathways. Early mornings and evenings seemed to be the best times for photos and shorter lines. Overall, this was one of the most immersive themed areas I've visited at any park. Universal did an amazing job bringing the Harry Potter world to life, and it truly feels like an attraction you could spend hours exploring. Definitely worth adding to your Universal Studios Hollywood visit.

Lots and lots of animatronics all around and the attention to details must be commended. It tasted like root beer to me lol I would get this again! Power Up Cafe Veggie calzone This was not half bad! It is super cute, comes a mushroom head. It tasted pretty good. It had lots of veggies in it and I wish it had more cheese. It was edible though. I would order one again. The cafe itself was adorable! Toadstool Cafe Pirahna Salad The salad was very fresh. Loved the presentation. I would not order it again though. It was expensive for what you get and not very filing.

Luigi's pizza 3.5/5 $10 a slice. big slices. flavor is okay. kids enjoyed it. whole pizza is $55 for 8 large slices. Loaded chicken nachos (minion cafe) 4/5 good but i was not able to pay for extra cheese which it could have used. big enough to share. Chicken strips & fries (wedges) 3/5 (harry potter) also came with purple grapes. good for the kids. small portions $10. Mac & cheese w/fries (wedges) 1/5 (harry potter) also came with purple grapes. greasy and no cheese flavor at all. kids wouldn't even eat it and my son eats everything. $10 Cream cheese pretzel (snack bar) 2/5 wanted to try the jalapeño and cheese one but they were out of jalapeños but after eating this one i might not bother trying it. it was super dense and not enough cream cheese and it tasted weird like maybe it was cooked to much (maybe they're better fresh) 10/11/2023 chicken sandwich (jurassic cafe) 4/5 pretty bomb. my favorite thing i ate the whole trip. they skimped on the aoili and cooked veggies but over all very good. came with wedges. burger (jurassic cafe) 3/5 according to my husband it was kind of dry but okay over all. came with wedges. chicken empanadas (jurassic cafe) 2/5 tasted nothing like traditional empanadas. similar to the filling of a pot pie and weren't great. the chimichurri sauce was also just okay, very thick. sticky toffee pudding (harry potter 3 broom sticks) 5/5 we loved it! reminded me of a warm apple cake with a crunchy outside & paired with vanilla ice cream made it perfecttttt ice cream soda (mario cart outside mario land) strawberry 3/5 & green apple 2/5 my kids were not impressed with either flavor and didn't finish them but they were cute and fun. they had flavored sode, vanilla ice cream & boba at the bottom.

Em, our tour guide, was personable and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more engaging. We were able to visit the set of Friends (one of my favorites) along with another sitcom set, though I can't recall the name. I do wish there had been more sets included on the tour. The experience is a mix of guided and self-paced exploration, which offers a nice balance. It wraps up with a gift shop at the end. Overall, a really enjoyable and worthwhile experience.
