We had to leave for an appointment but returned to purchase the vehicle. Upon arriving, we found that the other vehicle was in process of being purchased also. That would leave the dealer with no remaining inventory on this model. There was no real negotiation over the price, which seemed high compared to other similar vehicles we've purchased in the past. In the current market, we had no choice but to buy the car at the price listed, or don't buy it. Even though the cost was spendy, it was a relief to not have to perform the song and dance, back and forth, with the sales team to agree on a price. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They offered us connection to the Ford Pass account that monitors our car online, a free CarFax account, and regular service reminders. Unfortunately, we live in Utah and O'Brien is in Shelbyville, KY. Our salesman and the service manager were willing to work with our Utah DMV to facilitate the purchase and get our license plates processed. Another Utah DMV requirement was a VIN number inspection by a local police officer, which O'Brien was willing to facilitate to get the sale. If we lived in the area, we would likely use this location for our service requirements. Our local Ford dealers in Utah have been less than desirable for service. We'd be hopeful that O'Brien would be better.

I understand not wanting to use customer parts for more complex repairs, but for a simple tune-up like spark plugs and coils, it really shouldn't have been a problem with genuine OEM Motorcraft parts. It felt like it was purely about marking up the parts themselves rather than any real concern. For something as basic and straightforward as plugs and coils, this rule is ridiculous and frustrating. Ended up doing it myself. If you're capable of handling a basic tune-up yourself and just want to pay for labor to save time, this isn't the place their inflexible policy will waste your time instead.

I trust this place and was very happy to get my car fixed properly in a timely fashion. I will definitely be back for future repairs.

I dropped my truck off, and they called me shortly after with a clear explanation of exactly what was wrong; which matched perfectly with what I already knew going into it based on other shops/family friends I had taken it to beforehand. No upselling, no runaround, just straight to the point. They quoted me a very reasonable price for all the front-end work I needed done to get it ready for an alignment. Other shops would've easily been closer to $1600-$1800 for the same job, and they got it done for under $1200. That alone speaks for itself. On top of that, the parts they put on for me come with a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty, which shows they actually stand behind their work and aren't just trying to push you out the door. Overall, they were honest, efficient, and fairly priced which is exactly what you want in a shop. I really don't get some of the reviews because my experience was the complete opposite. Just remember; most people don't go online to leave a good review when things go right. Don't let a few bad reviews stop you from giving them a shot.

I…read morebrought them 2 vehicles for service with different needs. 2018 Honda Fit the dealership said was due for front brakes, and a 2021 Toyota Supra I was bringing in for alignment after lowering. The price quoted for the Honda's brakes was not as far from the dealer quote as I would have liked but they said they needed to do a full brake inspection first (despite having the dealer inspection paperwork). Their inspection said the front brakes didn't really need replaced but the back drums needed a much more expensive replacement. I opted out of any work done on that car. They charged me $45.00 (I had a coupon for free brake inspection printed from their website that they did not honor despite phone confirmation) The Supra had the alignment completed, or at least I was billed for one being completed. They did not provide any of the normal telemetry data for before and after alignment. They noted on the bill that one wheel had slightly too much camber, but was not adjustable. If they had said something about that during the process I would have bought a kit to adjust it (instead I will have to have someone else do another alignment on that part of the car). They did not either notice or tell me about the bands in one of the tires being busted to the point where the tire was tearing itself apart. They also did not apply the coupon I left for this car. Summary: Didn't get the work I wanted done on the Honda. Didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car. Diagnosed a more expensive issue than the dealership. May have gotten the work done on the Supra. Didn't get standard documentation, didn't get told about an issue with the alignment, didn't get told about the safety issue, didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car.
