I had a really solid experience with Tony's and honestly don't understand some of the negative reviews they've gotten. It was completely no BS from start to finish. I dropped my truck off, and they called me shortly after with a clear explanation of exactly what was wrong; which matched perfectly with what I already knew going into it based on other shops/family friends I had taken it to beforehand. No upselling, no runaround, just straight to the point. They quoted me a very reasonable price for all the front-end work I needed done to get it ready for an alignment. Other shops would've easily been closer to $1600-$1800 for the same job, and they got it done for under $1200. That alone speaks for itself. On top of that, the parts they put on for me come with a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty, which shows they actually stand behind their work and aren't just trying to push you out the door. Overall, they were honest, efficient, and fairly priced which is exactly what you want in a shop. I really don't get some of the reviews because my experience was the complete opposite. Just remember; most people don't go online to leave a good review when things go right. Don't let a few bad reviews stop you from giving them a shot. read more

Major Red Flags. I brought them 2 vehicles for service with different needs. 2018 Honda Fit the dealership said was due for front brakes, and a 2021 Toyota Supra I was bringing in for alignment after lowering. The price quoted for the Honda's brakes was not as far from the dealer quote as I would have liked but they said they needed to do a full brake inspection first (despite having the dealer inspection paperwork). Their inspection said the front brakes didn't really need replaced but the back drums needed a much more expensive replacement. I opted out of any work done on that car. They charged me $45.00 (I had a coupon for free brake inspection printed from their website that they did not honor despite phone confirmation) The Supra had the alignment completed, or at least I was billed for one being completed. They did not provide any of the normal telemetry data for before and after alignment. They noted on the bill that one wheel had slightly too much camber, but was not adjustable. If they had said something about that during the process I would have bought a kit to adjust it (instead I will have to have someone else do another alignment on that part of the car). They did not either notice or tell me about the bands in one of the tires being busted to the point where the tire was tearing itself apart. They also did not apply the coupon I left for this car. Summary: Didn't get the work I wanted done on the Honda. Didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car. Diagnosed a more expensive issue than the dealership. May have gotten the work done on the Supra. Didn't get standard documentation, didn't get told about an issue with the alignment, didn't get told about the safety issue, didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car. read more

Husband brought his Camaro up here. Drove 124 miles only to have the mechanic try to upsell a ball bearing (he is a 20 year master mechanic!!) that was JUST replaced AND spline bolts (the bolts on the car are standard) or they refused to do the alignment UNLESS we paid for 2 mechanics--one to hold the bolt and the other to "break loose." My husband understands trying to upsell BUT this is bordering on bait and switch (yes, we can do your alignment, drive 124 miles one way, then try to sell a "2 person alignment, ball joint, and spline screws for more money." Called last week to have my truck inspected after an incident. Made an appointment and came in today once the inspection was done they informed me I owed them $63.50 for an inspection fee that I wasn't told about when I made the appointment. Originally took truck there because of brake grinding. Diagnosed as needing new brake , rotors and 4 new tires. authorized repair. $2300.00 . Picked up truck when we told it was ready. The truck drove terribly. Took it back and was told it would need additional parts totaling $1300.00. It is not just the additional money , it's the fact that we were told it was ready and they either didn't diagnose completely and they definitely didn't test drive after the 1st repair. After 10 months the cotter pin on the castle nut took a leave of absence or it wasn't put on to begin with. The castle nut backed out and caused the lower control arm and the spindle to buckle causing body damage as well as a damaged stainless steel brake line along with the cv axle coming out of the boot and the joint inside to separate. I'll never take any of my vehicles here again. I shouldn't have to look my suspension after 10 months of driving it. Worse customer service, over priced, and the tech was careless and half assed a $700 job. read more

Expensive! expensive! Expensive! I just needed new breaks, and they add and add more services no necessary. They offered to change my oil, I agreed. Leaving the parking, in reverse, I knew something was wrong. I was patient waited a week, but my break were making a wired sound in reverse. I stopped by, and they told me to make an appointment for the next week. Two weeks now! During the waiting, my oil light came up and I had to change oil again at Valvoline. I returned for appointment two weeks later. Explain the issue with the oil, and nothing to repair their failure was repaired. I had to be honest, in my third visit a a great car technician, David, showed me the problem for the sound.. they sent me home. They called me with a new estimate to resolve the problem, i laugh. Took the car in on Thursday, it was supposed to be done that day but they had ordered the wrong parts. They say it'll be done around 2pm Friday. I call them around 430pm (they close at 5pm) guy answering said it won't be done till Monday. They were never even going to call and let me know. They say I have to pay over the phone if I want the car before Monday and it's still not even done! Car seems to be working fine but service was horrible, expect it to cost about 10% more and take two days longer than they tell you. read more

I have dealt with Pat on 2 occasions and both times Tony's killed it. They found the exact fix for multiple situations and at this point will be my go to, unless they tell me they can't help me. Hasn't happened yet. Fixed brakes, suspension, supplied great prices, fixed leaks, diagnosed everything spot on. I have had recent mechanicS really screw around on my time and money, ultimately leaving my vehicles in poor condition or worse. Tony's is where you go when you can't find a good fit. Most places have that guy whose been "doing mechanical stuff" for 20 bla bla years or more. This place has the real good guys. So I took my truck to Tony's for an alignment. He comes and gets me takes me under my truck and showed me balljoints and a bunch of other stuff that needed done. Almost $2000 worth of stuff. Well I took it to my regular mechanic, who I trust. They told me that I will eventually need to get some of it done but not right now. They told me that the balljoints look like that have been done not that long ago. So i don't know why they would have told me the balljoints needed done. read more

I had also needed a battery but didn't know they also did that. So I was able to get tires, an alignment and a battery at a very comparable price compared to other shops. I have a 34 foot RV and I pull a 24 foot trailer. This shop was able to accommodate my whole rig with out disconnecting. They where able to work on my alignment and fix my wheel issues. I thought that I had wheel bearings problems but they only need to have rear axle fluid. They where very professional. read more
