Wow! What a great surprise! We have been wanting to visit this restaurant for the dueling piano night and finally did! They may have been short on staff but our waitress/bartender, KK was fabulous! Loved the vibe of this place! Super historic and had the cutest tiffany lamps all over the restaurant. The food was delicious and came out at a good time. Our entrees came with an option of the soup of the day, house salad, or a caesar salad. My friend and I opted for the soup and caesar which i would definitely eat again! We got the shrimp scampi and a build your own pasta dish which i enjoyed. The only thing is that the scampi tasted super fishy, not like other scampi's i had before. The service was great but was a bit slow honestly. They only had two servers on a Saturday which i think they should've had one or two more to help out the service aspect. RSVP was 4:00 pm. I arrived a few minutes early & left at 5:40 pm. After a wonderful day in Cassadaga, this ruined my entire day! My server couldn't have been less friendly if she tried: no smile, no name, no basic courtesy. A table for one apparently doesn't earn the same respect & attention as a four-top. Too bad, because I'm a great tipper when someone takes the time to treat me with common courtesy like any other guest. When she took my drink order she mumbled something about a pepper "on special" & walked away before I could ask anything. My drink order was ice water with lemon on the side; she brought a glass with a dried-out lemon wedge stuck on the rim like it had been dropped, stepped on & then rescued. I had to ask for EVERYTHING--what's the soup of the day? may I have more lemon? do you serve dessert? is there a cash discount? -- & the extra lemon never arrived. My water never got refilled despite me parking the empty glass at the edge of the table as a hint. Then again, she never stuck around long enough to notice. Everything was "drop & run" like she was running from a fire. The restaurant wasn't even busy, most of the tables & bar were empty. There was no excuse for this level of neglect. The only nice thing I can say was the Caesar salad looked & tasted fresh, thankfully because it was all I would eat that night. EVERY dish looked dirty. They all looked like my grandmother's old porcelain with the rims all stained after 50 years of use. Ten minutes later my appetizer, tomato-mozzarella caprese was dropped off on another dingy plate & then she ran off. The tomatoes were HOT--truly hot--giving new meaning to "hothouse tomatoes," & the mozzarella tasted like cardboard. I didn't think you could mess up caprese, but apparently Sinatra's can. Ten minutes later my Chicken Piccata dinner was dropped off. Another dirty dish. There was barely any pasta & what should have been a bright lemon-butter-wine sauce was just a pool of oil under the noodles. While smiling & chatting with two older ladies at the next table (who came in after me & already had had two coffee refills), I flagged her down to ask for grated cheese, hoping it might help. She dropped a little plastic cup on the table of ice-cold, Kraft-style cheese & took off running again. The chicken was SO salty it was inedible. The pasta was greasy. I pushed the whole plate to the far edge of the table so she couldn't miss it--along with my empty water glass. Within ten minutes of dropping the entrée, she slapped down the bill--without noticing the untouched food or the empty glass and ran off again. Another ten minutes later she came for the payment, smiling for the first time. This was also the first time she bothered to ask if everything was ok. I told her, "NO! This is swimming in oil, the chicken is so salty I can't eat it; actually the whole dish is inedible,". The smile vanished. She grabbed the check, said, "I'll remove it," & ran. Normally an over-tipper, her tip went to zero right then. Still no water refill. She returned with the bill & immediately tried to speed off again. I called after her to ask whether it reflected a cash payment. "No, I'll have them fix that," she said, grabbed it, & ran--again. She returned with the discounted bill & was about to run off again when I had to ASK if they even served dessert. "Yes," she answered annoyed, was off & running & came back with a menu that was FILTHY. Every page had stains on both sides. Ugh! My total bill was $12.91. So disgusted at this point, I just put $15 cash in the check presenter, I was done!! Ten minutes later when she came back, she asked if I wanted to order any dessert & I responded "NO". She scooped up my payment, pointed at my still-empty glass that had been sitting there for 35 minutes, asked, "Do you want a water to go?" Really?! Another ten minutes later, she brought back $2 change--shorting me nineteen cents--dropped it without a word, & was gone. The nineteen cents ended up being her tip only because I just wanted out of there!! I left mad & STILL HUNGRY!! Summary: * hot tomatoes with cardboard mozzarella * inedible, oversalted Chicken Piccata, no sauce * pasta sitting in a pool of oil * dirty plates * a filthy dessert menu * no refills * wrong change * a "drop & run" waitress who had to be flagged down for every single thing If you're going to charge real restaurant prices - get some clean plates, offer refills, serve edible food, teach your servers some manners & how to count back change, & have a manager on the floor making sure customers are being serviced properly! I've run restaurants. I would have put on the apron myself before letting a guest be treated like this. Cute little spot. They have a piano night every Wednesday which is a nice surprise. And also hand readings! Super fun for a girls night or just drinks! They have a very complete menu. The Hafner & Halls had our Anniversary celebration Sat8/16/25 with 8 of our friends. The food was AMAZING Steaks that melt in your mouth. Service was great. The piano was so relaxing then we all sang karaoke. lots of laughs to end the evening. The Hotel speaks so much for itself just an Awesome experience. First off -- it's Cassadaga -- land of the spiritual retreats & mediums. The Cassadaga Hotel and this restaurant within it are real throw-backs to old memories. As such I love it! There is a Happy Hour menu (maybe weekdays) that is just right for me -- 2 for 1 house wine (other wines are reasonably priced) and small dishes for $5. The steak slider and bruchetta were good. The server was charming, service was a bit slow because she was running her a** off to serve ALL tables and the bar patrons. Soon after we were seated, someone started playing a piano and singing so loud we could barely have a conversation without straining. Ordered calamari as an appetizer. It was very rubbery and hand no flavor. Evident of frozen not fresh. The Marinara sauce was so sweet I could have made sweetened tea with it. My entree of Chicken Parm, had a side of pasta with red sauce, the same used on the Calamari, again way to sweet, the chicken parm was below ordinary. The best restaurant in town, aka the only restaurant in town! I stayed a few night at the Hotel Casadaga so I was able to enjoy a few meals and drinks here. The food was good, and fresh. The entertainment was what keeps you there longer. I wasn't expecting much but was very surprised and the feeling was just a lovely warm welcome. The staff seems to work their tail off and do a great job at making sure you have everything and drinks are refilled. It's giving haunted Schitt's Creek vibes. So this restaurant is located in the only hotel in Cassadaga, and the whole thing is sorta wild. We were exploring the town, and popped in for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised they were able to immediately sit my party of 18. Our server was wonderful, and the menu was pretty expansive. I went with the burrata to start, and it was served with balsamic drizzle and prosciutto. It was very tasty, but I had to order the crostini separately, which was odd. I then ordered the mushroom flatbread and that was just okay. The bread was burnt, while the cheese was not melted enough. It was fine. I did try the famous Sinatra tater tots my neighbor ordered, as they were touted as delicious and featuring a secret ingredient. They were indeed pretty tasty. I suspect the secret ingredient was sugar. Overall, it was okay, but it's also the only option in town, and definitely filled me up. P.S. ladies, stop by the restroom. We enjoyed our dinner in live music while we were there. And I had pasta with meat sauce and sausage, And she had tortellini with a vodka sauce. The food was excellent And our server was very good. The food came out a little faster than planned so we had to hurry through our salad but that was OK. We always enjoy coming here for dinner. The happy hour specials are good for 2 for 1 house wines and if you're lucky on certain nights you could even get a psychic reading for $20 for 10 mins. My boyfriend and I went to lunch at Sinatras today. The service was pleasant. The food was mediocre but for the price not equivalent. We didn't realize until we were waiting on a to go box that that plates were servery chipped and mine had a crack in it. I brought this to the attention of our waitress and she said "she'll let the kitchen know." I know from working in restaurants myself that bacteria can grow in those chips and cracks. I'm not a regular customer but Ive been going to Sinatras for years and it seems to be going downhill. read more

We stopped there, in a way back to Orlando. It is located in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant is nice, but everything is too old, and smells old wood. Waitress was nice with us. Sweet potatoes fries was really oily, manicotti too much sauce and pasta, almost no filling. Risoto was bland and the ossobuco has to tasty, a lot of water and no flavor. read more

Brings you back in time! Sinatra's is nestled in the quaint Hotel Cassadega. We spent a night here to explore the spiritual town and tried dinner at Sinatra's. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. There was a bar surrounding a piano where a woman sang and played wonderfully. They do have live music several times throughout the week. The decorations, the lighting, everything just had such nostalgic, relaxing feel. It really brings you to another era before cell phones and what not. Food was very good. All entrees come with a side salad which was a good portion size. I personally really enjoyed the chicken fettuccini. I really loved the homemade creamy Alfredo sauce. The baked ziti was also delicious and super cheesy. Only complaint was there weren't enough noodles for the amount of meat sauce they put on the dish. Restaurant and bar closed early(9pm) but we had a wonderful meal and loved the pianist. We would definitely visit again in the future read more

This place is just precious. Simple but delicious, a nice upscale casual for the locals. I did a card reading in the lobby of the hotel and then enjoyed a meal here. There must have been a 90 year woman celebrating her birthday and she was the life of the party, dancing with everyone. While my chicken parm was AMAZING! The poor girl waiting on us was bartending, waitressing and maintaining a walk up bar. It prob took us at least 30 min, maybe 45 to get water. My boyfriend is gluten and dairy free, his cod showed up looking like sad mashed potatoes. I felt bad. Poor guy has been helping me at a show in Cassadaga since 6am and he got a shit dinner out of it. It was entertaining when the food bloggers showed up and sat next to us. They had a full bottle of wine and I about shit when their second appetizer showed up within 30 min and the guy with the pepper cracker came out for them. Like, where did he come from cause I'm sitting RIGHT next to him and I ain't getting refills, a box or a bill. So after following the food bloggers on social media, they were doted on for 3 hours. It took us 2 hours to get our food and my boyfriend went home and got sick. The hotel hosted a festival today. Stopped for a visit in cassadega on the way to Orlando and it was a fun time. It's a super small town and there's only one hotel, inside the hotel is this restaurant and I had heard mixed reviews. We went around lunch time and there was only one other couple there so service was pretty quick. I got a salad and pasta and my bf got a soup and pasta. My Cesar salad was delicious. The dressing they used was perfect. Both of our pastas were amazing too. My Alfredo was so thick and creamy and his was just as good. I wish I could have finished the whole plate but I was stuffed. If im ever back in town, I'd definitely come here. KK was a great server too! read more

I wanted this place to be great as we do a lot of events at Cassadaga. The Ambience was nice, but we waited at least 30 minutes for water. The waitress was nice and overworked covering the bar as well as tables. However, the food bloggers that came in had immediate service including fresh cracked pepper with their salad. My girlfriend's food looked great and she said it tasted great as well and worth the wait. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and they do not have many options that are gluten free. I come across this often but can usually find something and they did modify a meal for me. I got the cod with asparagus. It came back looking like a pile of mashed potatoes with the asparagus. It lacked flavor and was oily. Disappointing meal, especially after the long wait and witnessing they can do better. Needed to update. I went home and was sick after eating here :( Saw the bloggers posts. They were waited on for 3 hours. We were also there for 3 hours, 2 of it was waiting to be served. I just want to start off by saying the service was amazing. They were very attentive. Also the jazz musician came around the restaurant playing guitar for everybody he was absolutely wonderful. Now let's talk about the food. No flavor, completely bland. The worst Pizza I ever received in my lifetime, Ellio's frozen Pizza is better. I don't know where people are getting good reviews for the food here because the food has no flavor at all. They could do better. They also don't have any coffee. And that's my two cents. read more

I had semi-low expectations for any Italian restaurant named "Sinatra's" in Florida because I'm kind of a jerk like that, but this place is honestly awesome. First up, it's located in the fabulous Cassadaga Hotel-a go-to stop for all things fun victorian furniture and haunted spiritual awakenings. That whole situation is worth 4 stars on its own, I'll have to come back and stay in the hotel. The restaurant itself looks a bit thrown together, but thankfully there's nothing overtly cheesy. The decor flows with the Victorian theme but feels a little more modern than the lobby. There's a nice dark bar in the back and a spot for a guy to come in and play live music on a keyboard while you eat dinner (and he was pretty good honestly, I didn't even roll my eyes once!). The bartender was super friendly and attentive too, there seemed to be a bit of a local-hangout vibe. But most importantly, the food here is dynamite. The menu has a surprisingly great selection and you get a lot of food for your buck. I ordered the veal cutlet with mushroom and fig which was outstandingly great. It came with a Caesar salad that tasted actually homemade and not straight-from-the-bottle. It also came with a risotto which was flavorful and the perfect foil to the rest of the meal. Portions were big and the meal was super satisfying. My boyfriend ordered the osso buco which was truly fall-off-the-bone delicious, and included some perfectly cooked potatoes. All in all, a fantastic meal and a place we're both thrilled to come back to as soon as we can. May the ghost of Sinatra rest easy knowing his name is not being used in vain for once. read more

Nope Not going to repeat. Too many issues for such a small place. RIPOFF RIPOFF RIPOFF Illegally charged me 10% tax rate in a 6.5% county. Undisclosed "fees" Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until after I paid. I've seen other reviews on this matter and the excuse is alcohol tax. There is no such thing, and I had a coke with my meal. So, what's the extra charge? OVERPRICED I had two items on the appetizer menu and nothing from the main. My final bill was $29 bucks for one person. Again, that is without a main dish. LESS THAN IN TASTE The Burrata had no taste. It was just cold and wet. It was so cold that I suspect it was frozen and then quickly thawed when I put in my order. In that dish, the cheese is supposed to be the star. Horrible. I will not be returning. I plead with the business to STOP illegal charges and anyone reading this review find a different place to spend your honest money. read more

Don't waste your time. This is our second time dining here. 1st time we were served a bruschetta which was fermented. We didn't return until tonight on Valentine's Day. As walk-ins they were unable to offer us any of the empty tables so we took a seat at the bar. After 13 minutes of watching two different bar staff ignore us finally we were offered menus and told she would get us some water and be back. She didn't come back. Another 8 minutes went by before finally the same waitress returned and said "Are you ready?" I told her waters would have been good. We left and went to a nearby restaurant Murphs where service is a specialty. Let me start off by saying I've eaten here in the past and had great food and service so I'm not sure what happened at the restaurant last night. We walked in to the restaurant at 440 where we stood at the hostess stand for about 7 minutes before someone acknowledged us. We were finally seated at a table by the server we had been at the table not a full minute when another server came over to say "I'm sorry this table has been designated as reserved for a larger party." Now in my mind if there's a large party coming in wouldn't all the servers know this?! We were moved to the backend of the restaurant in a corner out of the way and sat for about 15 minutes before our server greeted us. There were 4 people in our party and while I understand a decent meal could be as much as an hour if you are busy and stretch it but it was an hour and a half of sitting at the table most of the time waiting for our server to take our order. The food was good as long as you ordered basic Italian food such as the manicotti or spaghetti, otherwise the food was not as good. I was quite disappointed with the evening's meal and the lack of service. Needless to say I won't be recommending this restaurant nor will I come back. read more

Sinatra's "L'aldila" Ristorante,located inside of The Historic "Hotel Cassadaga" in Lake Helen, Florida. Built in 1927 this beautiful Hotel & Sanctuary is inspired by the Rich Landscapes of Spain. I remember going to the restaurant in the past and enjoying its peaceful ambience. The food was ok to good. The last three times I went here, it was very overcrowded. The servers were always kind, yet it was difficult to have dinner here. The last two times, we cancelled and just had drinks. It was nearly impossible to get a table, so we drank in the hotel lobby. It is still a beautiful restaurant especially during Christmas. I would prefer to go here when it is not crowded. read more
