I called and checked to make sure that it would be a valid form of payment and was assured by customer service that it would be. We drove over and it was down. Having said that, when we arrived they held the door open and every single person greeted us warmly. When they realized that we couldn't pay for gas, they suggested to cross the parking lot and load it to a gift card and use it for gas. They even offered to do it themselves. After thanking them I prepared to head across the parking lot, unload all the kids, go in, purchase the $15 gift card, go back, load them all into the truck again and drive and attempt to get gas...again. When Bert came out to the parking lot and advised me that, Jeri, the manager had paid for my gas and was profusely sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. I was blown away. I won't be fueling up anywhere else from now on if I can help it. Thank you ladies for your grace and outstanding commitment to customer service that was so rare it restored some of my faith in humanity and America.

I have avoided this location because the exterior appearance looks a bit run down. I had expected a typical gas station convenience store feel but the store was well organized and fairly clean. It had a similar feel to the newer Maverick locations. Located on Main Street in Layton, it is easiest to access as you are heading south, though there is a turn lane if trying to access from the North. The parking lot is small but when I went, there wasn't any issues finding a spot to park. The employee helping me was extremely friendly and welcoming. I may need to start coming to this location more often.

I love the Nitro card that lets me earn double points that I can apply to free gas cards - or I can try my luck at entering their drawings for boats, trucks, snowmobiles...all manner of toys. It's always a mice surprise when I get my bonus free drink or bonfire snack at the register. (I think every 10th is free) And my dirty little secret...I REALLY like Maverik's egg rolls....enough that I will drive to a Maverik JUST to get an egg roll. Next you must go inside and tell them you want to car wash. Next you must go out and fill up your car. In other words, if you buy a car wash, then put in 14+ gallons of gas, then don't get your receipt at the pump, and then go ask for it inside, they will simply let you know but you did it wrong then upon inspection of your receipt I will see you got $.20 off a gallon which according to the attendant it was more than a car wash...
