Came to Indio for a few days and decided to try this place. Coffee shop is really nice, staff was pleasant and friendly, and our drinks were on point. I ordered an iced horchata latte and a pink lemonade. Very cute little coffee shop by the city of chambers! Came here on a Saturday afternoon and surprisingly it wasn't as busy! We were welcomed by 2 sweet baristas, one who noticed my phone case and knew exactly where I got it from! It's crazy how you can find a connection with someone just simply by entering a coffee shop. While staying in Indio for vacation we wanted to get out and try some of the local coffee shops. During our exploring we came across this little shop in Coachella and are very happy we did. Both times we had the iced horchata coffee and the cortadito and they were both great. This is a tiny little space in old town Coachella, great park and veterans memorial across the street. Honest review here! The coffee we ordered "4" of us was terrible. It tasted horrible and I had to spit it out and throw away. At first I thought it was just mine but when the others sipped theirs, we all knew it was the coffee. Not sure if they were having an off day or what but we all threw the coffee away. This place has really become a local staple. The coffee can be strong so watch out those of you with sensitive stomachs. I've had the Horchata and Lavender Rose latte (both iced) while my mom is a fan of the Cortadito. I love the Horchata one! It's sweet and flavorful. The Lavender Rose could have used some more of that floral flavor though because it kind of just tasted like a regular latte. We've also tried some of their vegan pastries. Their Maple Glazed Donut was good. It actually tasted a little like oatmeal in donut form to be honest, but we liked it! The brownie has a nice amount of chocolate and their concha was not bad. It seems like they've added more food to their menu since the last time I went so another visit is definitely in order! More stuff for me to try. read more

I always look for a coffee shop that offers funky lattes when I'm traveling. I didn't realize our Airbnb was in Coachella so I began my Yelp search. Hubby ordered a Lox Bagel and an Iced Horchata Latte. Hands down, one of the best brunches I have had in a while. It was an overpriced avocado toast, obviously! But it was well worth it. The tanginess of the vinaigrette and the bitter crunch from the arugula. It was delicious. I loved my latte and enjoyed hubby's horchata latte as well! If you love horchata, definitely try it out. I loved the spot so much that I brought our friends to this coffee shop the next day as we checked out of our spot. I ordered a Vanilla Lavender Iced Latte this time and got hubby the Honey Con Conela Latte; essentially it's a honey & cinnamon flavored latte. We both ordered the Avocado Toasts which were delightful but I have to say the hubby's drink was the winner this day. My latte, like others have stated, was super strong. It didn't help that I got a large size. I sipped on this one slowly. Our friends enjoyed their drinks but were disappointed as the kitchen "closed" after we had placed our orders. They did not give a reason why but I'm assuming they ran out of food? Not quite sure but the kitchen was definitely backed up as it took a long while until we received our food. The coffee is pretty decent and I like to support local businesses over places like Starbucks- but, to be honest, this place can be hit or miss. I've gone when the baristas are AMAZING and take the time to let you know what you're ordering (if you're not coffee-savvy) and then there are the baristas that are so FLIPPANT, you're wondering why they work there. And it can be either-or. There's a guy with glasses who is great, as the woman he was working with (this week), although I interacted more with him. Then there were two other female baristas on other occasions who had people they knew in there and they were too busy with them to even say "hello" or "thank you," let alone ask them a question because I wanted to try something new. Very dismissive and rather disappointing, as I had recommended this place to my father, who is venturing outside his usual mocha latte at Starbucks. I don't want to send family to local businesses to get ignored or barely helped by the staff. I've read some of these reviews and the Owner seems to leave passive aggressive comments to people who have had poor experiences. Not a good sign. All businesses have some bad or lacking Yelp reviews, but a small minority has the Owner showcasing their impulsive retorts like this one. I'll try again, as I do like some of their drinks.
