So. Much. Fun. I had a great time doing karaoke at Sing it or Wing it. The song books were very up to date so you could pick recent songs easily. The DJ was really fun and when the crowd wasn't busy, he did a few songs himself which were always extremely unexpected. My husband and I were married last weekend and for our after party, we told everyone to meet us at Sing It or Wing It for a fun night! We had a party of about 15 people, all well over the legal drinking age (ranging from 25 - 40+) compiled of parents, friends, and family. We were greeted by a bouncer, asked to pay the $5.00 cover, and headed on in until one of the last members of our group was stopped. Now let's stop and think, this is Halloween weekend, it's probably pretty rowdy. There's people in COSTUME - and here comes a completely harmless wedding party, ready to shill out the big bucks and have a great time just chatting and visiting with each other. We would think our business would be welcomed. That was not the case at all. Our friend, who was in town from NY, was told the bouncer "couldn't tell if it was him" Uh, really? No big deal, don't freak out, ask to see a manager. The bouncer said "I am the head of security, I have the final say." Hmm.. still puzzled considering there are people in your bar dressed up in full costume, wigs, etc. and you can't tell this guy in formal wear is HIM? Certainly, we were on a bad episode of Punk'd? He wasn't pretending to be 21, he's a 25 year old guy with a wedding party! Fast forward to the police officer walking down the street on patrol - we asked that police officer to scan and validate the ID. He obliged, scanned, and verified that our friend was indeed a 25 year old guy just trying to visit his out of town friends on their wedding night. He followed that by saying the bouncer would ultimately be the one to make the call. The bouncer then proceeded to tell us, "you can argue until you are blue in the face, he's not getting in." We ask to speak to a manager again, denied again. So, what do we do? We all turn around and take our business elsewhere. I'm sad for your bar - your bouncer was on a major power trip and because of it you lost a lot of business, not just that night, but from our group forever.If anything, this guy needs a lesson in people skills. If you want a fun night out in Chatt - there's plenty of places. Sing It or Wing It wouldn't be my choice. read more

Ok this place is awesome... This review isnt for the food, because I had the wings and beer. But, this is for the place itself... all I can say is FUN....I was there early so it wasn't crowded but their was a birthday party going on and I dont think I stopped smiling from the time I walked into this place... Poor food, poorer service! Not a good experience at all. Staff that don't take care of customers, half working karaoke equipment!

First, I will say that I love the food.. So, the food really should get 4 stars at least and has decent prices. My issue with it is the Karaoke. Their lists are all messed up. They don't have a big selection but they say just to ask them and they will look it up. That is a pain. They turn their monitor pretty much off so you can only hear the song and yourself bouncing of the walls and it's a long narrow room, so unless you know the song really really well your not going to do well. Love the Fish Bowl drinks. So much fun. I am in no way, shape, or form a good singer but it is so fun to get up on stage and act a fool. Great if you are a non-smoker. Smoking is outside and you can still hear the karoake outside. This place is kid-friendly until 9. read more

Came from Atlanta with my husband for a quick getaway. Went here for late night after dinner. The crowd fun. Drink prices were reasonable, service was cool. We had obviously gotten there after many people cycled through bc it was a bit of a mess. Still had a good time. read more

While I did not order any food, I cannot comment on that. However if you're going there for a karaoke experience, its awful. You have to pay a $5 cover fee only to be confined in the back of the place with a subpar sound system. While some people were generally mumbling while they sang, you could barely hear anything throughout the place itself. There was also favoritism as well, since there was someone that went up 4 times in an hour period. It was the most useless $5 ever spent and I refuse to ever go back unless they do a redesign for others to see and listen. read more

Really enjoyed this place , came here a while back for the weekend of my 21st birthday & had a blast . No I didn't sing , but I enjoyed drinking their awesome fishbowls & watching others belt their hearts out singing karaoke . Food was good , wings are the way to my heart & the alcohol had me feeling good , only needed 3 fishbowls ( which were priced good & had a lot of alcohol in them ! ) , the service was great . This place is such a disappointment. I was there for a bachelorette party on a Saturday night, and they had half of the entire establishment empty for "reservations." The food is pretty good, but the wait staff was rude, and they let two women take the next empty table even though the party I was with had been stuck at the bar for over an hour. read more

The worst! The bar manager called police because some of their cheaply glued on letters behind the karaoke stage fell off during our performance. The bar manager said we would be charged with felony vandalism. When police got there and the owner was finally briefed on the situation, they decided "it was no big deal" and they no longer needed police assistance. Even the police saw the absurdity in the situation. We are a group of young professionals that were in town for a wedding- not criminals. I still talk about the absurdity of this place and situation. Very poor management and bitchy employees. I only Thursday nights to sing since it's dollar beer night, but the employees sing too much. Now the kitchen staff even sing. It wastes time that the customers could be singing. Stop wasting our time and singing 3 employees in a row and let us sing. Employees should only sing when there isn't a wait for the rest of us. This is why we don't come Friday or Saturday night. You will wait 2+ hours to sing if you get there after 9, unless of course, you bribe the DJ. We would actually come more often if we could sing more often. Did you ever think about that? No. They think if they waste time by singing their employees that we will drink more and wait longer to sing. What a GREAT business plan. Why not give more entertainment to your customers so you get repeat customers instead of the opposite? I was told Michelob Ultra's were $1 on Domestic dollar beer night (which they aren't), and was threatened to pay the full tab or they would call the cops when I said I wasn't going to pay. They fill up over their max capacity and then yell at people to move out of the (one and only) walkway. There is literally no where else for them to move to, but the poor management keeps on complaining about their own wrongdoings. Literally, the best thing about this place is the $1 beer. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. We had a group of 5 and all ordered at the same time. An hour and a half later no one had their food. Eventually, we had one plate come out. Twenty minutes later the second came out. Two of us had an emergency and had to leave, had our table ask to cancel our order. We were still charged $42 for the two of us, the table got our food packaged. They dropped it off later, it was completely wrong. Poor service, the only thing worth going for is the singing. It being our first time in TN, we were told to make it a point to check out your bar. Here for a wedding, our wedding party of at least 15 people (ALL well over the drinking age) decided to go! Well, of the 15+ people, my boyfriend was denied. We are from NY and if you know a thing or two about NY state licences - there are older and newer ones (ALL legally valid). My 26 year old boyfriend was completely denied and told "he couldn't tell it was him." This bouncer was completely rude to us and I tried rationalizing with him, asking him if he had a scanner to validate it, and even went as far as to flag down a police officer who 100% validated the ID. Still getting absolutely nowhere. I asked to speak with a manager - I mean who would go to this extent if it was in fact a fake ID?? Fun place to visit with family or friends but make sure you get there early because seating is very limited! Food was decent, drinks....ok (bartenders very nice, especially the guy with glasses). I must say that I encountered a very rude waitress last night who almost "caught these hands" as my sister would say. She was so angry and made it her business to let everyone know that she was pissed because a patron dropped a glass (twice) and she had to do her job and clean it up. Don't quite understand people who get angry for doing something that they are paid to do...hmmmmm. I was at the bar and she was practically throwing dishes in the "clean up cart"....extremely close to where I was seated. This is a very busy establishment, lots of people up, moving about and basically out to have a great time. Anyone that works there needs to be aware of the conditions that they are working in and if they dont like it, they probably should consider working somewhere else. read more

Worst experience of my life. Ruined my sister's bachelorette party. Never going back again. They took a reservation for SIXTY people on a Saturday night. Which is ridiculous considering the whole place can barely fit 100 people. So my party of eight had to split up. Despite half of us being at the bar, the bartenders and wait staff gave zero indication that they worked on tips. When a table opened up, an hour and a half into our time there, we spoke with a worker about their "first come, first serve" policy. Already having FINALLY gotten food, we carried our plates over to the new table. A very rude waitress comes over and tells us she had promised the table for 10 to two women that had just asked about the table. When we mentioned that someone had said it was "first come, first serve," the waitress got snotty and said that "that woman isn't my manager." My advice, don't go to Sing It or Wing It. Their wings are good, I'll give them that. But you're better off somewhere else unless you make a reservation. read more
