I had Singh roofing put on a new roof of January 2026. Although the roof is nice and new going through the process with them was very stressful. From the start the one roofer Felix just looking at my house said this job is 20K. I said really, cause I had an estimate 6 months ago and the bid was 14K. I said how would the price go up sixteen thousand. And that included taking off and reinstalling my solar panel. Felix and Jeremiah who wrote up the bid for my house after that kept me out of everything. He worked with my insurance com exclusively. The insurance Co paper work reads "The contractors work for you". The contract from Singh roofing reads " the Customer needs to be involved with communication with the insurance Co. But because Jeremiah was taking advantage of embellishing the price of the job I was left out of any contracts or communication with the insurance Co. I asked Jeremiah for his bid to the insurance Co. he emailed me the accepted contract from the insurance Co. I believe knowing he emailed the wrong paper because when he emailed the paper work I asked for his bid was 23K. After receiving his embellished bid I told him not to order anything just yet. The next day Jeremiah & Felix showed up at my door. Felix begins to scream & yell at me in my home trying to defend Jeremiah embellishment. He did apologized for saying that my house was a 20K job before even evaluating it. The unprofessional manner in which I was treated by both guys the entire process was horrible & very deceptive. I then made a call to the owner Jesse. He wasn't any better. He defended his workers and was an absolute jerk. I made my payments to them promptly every time. I mailed the last one, only to find out Singh roofing never paid a subcontractor his pay. He said he called Jeremiah & Jesse with no response from either one. Living in Phoenix dust storms and HIGH WINDS are unpredictable. We had an unusual one rip through our area, causing real bad damage to our roof. Shingles were ripped off, and we had about an 8x8 area over our garage missing shingles. We immediately contacted our insurance company, who came out and stated they would only cover the front half. We contacted Singh Roofing after they came highly recommended by a close friend. Jesse, the owner of the company, came out to provide an assessment and estimate for the work. He uncovered more damage that was overlooked by our insurance field adjuster. He requested to meet with the field adjuster and go over the items missed. Of course, standard practice for insurance companies is to cut a check and be finished, but Jesse fought for us to get our entire roof redone. He literally went to bat for us, provided pictures, emails, multiple phone calls, etc. He did not have to do what he did, but with his help and our persistence with the insurance company, they finally agreed the damages were worse than what was noted. Jesse scheduled his team ( about 8 guys) to come out at 7am, and they were here ready to go at 6:55am. 7am came, and they started taking the old roof off. By 3:45pm, they were completely finished. They cleaned up after themselves and ran a magnetic roller to pick up any nails that may have been dropped. Having kids and pets, this was a HUGE relief. We can definitely say. Jesse has helped me get 3 brand new shingle roofs on 3 of my investment properties, all through my insurance company for just my insurance deductible on each house. Beauty of it was, the damage on all 3 were classified as wind damage so it didn't increase my insurance rate. 2/3 houses simply had old roofs that were end of life but he was still able to get it done through my insurance company. 1 of the 3 had real damage, a large section of my roof taken off. He was able to come and get it tarped off asap the same day, while all the other roofing companies told me it would be a few weeks til they could even come and give me an estimate. I referred him to my friend who also needed a new roof because his was old as well and was able to get him a new roof via insurance as well! I don't have the expertise to judge the roofing job done, but we've had their work evaluated since we're now having trouble getting solar installed on the roof they just did, because it's soft in several spots. They claim there was no damage to the roof decking, but you can see the dent in the roof where it's soft (and plywood should have been replace) from the ground. What I can also share is that their workers were sloppy and their rep and owner are unresponsive and rude. They were late for the install (I had to get to work). During the roof installation, they destroyed a potted plant in our driveway, some holiday decorations in our front yard, left patio edging just laying on our back patio and roof nails all around our house (we have small children and a dog). Their workers drove a nail into a water pipe running along our roof line (in plain sight) and immediately said it wasn't their problem. We asked to pay our deductible by credit card, but were told the boss had to call us, it took weeks to get a call back, then the machine wasn't working. We got estimates to fix the pipe, emailed them, no response for over 2 weeks, then they showed up at our front door to collect their deductible. Plus we were told we'd get a referral bonus when our neighbor got her roof done and it's done, but no bonus... I also doubt the neighbor that referred us ever got hers... Lastly, the owner tailgated me in my neighborhood in his giant black pick up then whipped around me and cut me off. Obnoxious and totally unsafe! read more

Run! Nothing but problems. Roof was completed last year in Tempe. I won't go into all those problems but there were many. Now we're painting the house. Finding a lot of areas with poor sheeting at the eaves. Actually cracked totally through in a number of places. They did replace some of the sheeting when roofing so they know what it looks like when it needs replaced. New sheeting was paid for as change order as it should be. Now I wonder what other areas exist but would only see by going into the attic. Only fix will be to tear off roof, replace sheeting and reroof. They are only good dealing with insurance company. Workmanship is terrible! Find another contractor. read more

Jeremiah did an excellent job working with our insurance company to replace most our roof. We were really happy with the service and I would have recommended them to anyone. I wish this review ended there, but it doesn't. This is the first review I've ever written, but I feel compelled to share the rest of our experience. After the roof was installed, our house was flooded with a toxic roof tar like smell for 2-3 days. Somehow the roof materials had contaminated our ac system. I have three small children one of whom has asthma, and we actually had to vacate the house. The smell got better after that but it still came back when the temp got above 105 or 110 which it does quite a bit in AZ summers. It was bad enough to give me headaches especially because the ac vents blow directly above our bed. We wanted to hold off on full payment until the smell was resolved but Jeremy's boss Jesse Singh got involved and actually showed up at our doorstep during dinner time to collect payment. He looked us in the eye and told us that we needed to complete the payment but that he would make it right. We trusted him. We shouldn't have. The smell kept coming back but because Jesse never smelled it himself, he told us there was nothing he could do. He did come over a couple of times to check it out which we appreciated but the smell wasn't present during those times. We asked him to at least pay for one duct cleaning to try to make it right and again he said because they didn't experience the smell first hand that they would not pay. So much for "making it right". Jesse is basically saying that because he didn't smell it we must be making it up, and that the smell couldn't have been their fault even though it directly followed the installation of the roof and smelled like roof tar! Now we are left with the fear of the smell coming back next summer and my kids who might be breathing contaminated air. The issue here wasn't about getting the ac duct cleaning covered by Singh roofing, it really doesn't cost that much. It's more about the ethics - how Singh roofing handled this situation says a lot about their integrity and how much they really care or don't care about their customers. read more

Singh roofing had done the inspection on my house when I first bought it. So when the august storms came through, I called him and said I need help. I told him the issue and he and his team did a good job dealing with my insurance and replacing my roof. However, we did have some minor issues like clean up on my property and my neighbors. The reason my review is only 3 stars is because since my roof was replaced, I have had a leak. It is the center where the angled roofs meet and comes down the spout through the corner of car port. Jesse sent out guys at least 4 times to fix it, each time it still leaked. We just had rain again and it is still leaking. I contacted Jesse 2 weeks ago and all I get is I'll send someone Monday or Tuesday, my apologies. Well I am done asking. I will either fix it myself or call another roofer and send Jesse the bill. I am tired of the run around and frankly the leak not being fixed. It was always someone at 5pm and in a rush. Frankly I am really disappointed because Jesse is not willing to admit his guys did this specific area wrong and is not taking responsibility to fix it right. While waiting for payment of $484 from insurance company on August 20th 2018 Singh Roofing filed Arizona Preliminary Twenty Day Lien Notice for $8,760.74 against property he installed roof on. After receiving payment in full (August 23rd, 2018), contractor suppose to file Unconditional Waver and Release. I requested Waver from Singh Roofing several times, complained Better Business Bureau, Attorney General and still did not receive Unconditional Waver. It stated work would begin in 4 weeks after insurance approval, yet 2 months later nothing had started.
