Millyard Day Crew!!!
Arrin F.

Very well organized under pressure. A customer refused his cole slaw and they redeemed it. I would of ate the cole slaw. Wendy did awesome under pressure and customer criticism. It's really busy, Unusual business for tonight confirmed from locals who come here alot. They split tips which encourages team work. Excellent food excellent service!!! I will blog later on music entertainment. The locals definitely look out for anyone who comes to the establishment. One local came up to say "a white ford ranger has its headlights on, I'm just letting you know so the person doesn't drain their battery." Awesome awesome. They even have their own cult following. They wear orange shirts. The Millyard Day Crew.

Kushi
Heather G.

On a little getaway vacation for a long weekend I had under estimated how far distance was between places I'd picked to have dinner so we ended up Yelping closer restaurants. Now upon finding this place on said Yelp, there were no pictures...though I was intrigued by this one menu item, the kushi! No explanation of what it was and upon googling I just found out it was some sort of meat and vegetable fried thing and then I needed to try it. This place was a pleasant surprise after rounding the block looking for parking which is scarce and the restaurant is settled in what seemed like a pretty residential area. I ordered a cesar salad with grilled chicken, one kushi and an order of poutine. The salad was perfect, chickens seasoned well and not over cooked still warm and succulent. The kushi with the bulldog sauce was out of this world different and I'd order that again! It's chicken chunks with onion and green bell pepper skewered then battered and deep fried. It is cooked perfectly and the bulldog sauce is like an Asian soy teryaki with cardamom and a bit of American bbq flavor as well. I've never had anything so mind bogglingly delish! My other half got the $28 filet mignon with baked potato and soup of the day. The filet was large, cooked medium rare and as you can see is not just the clean filet section so it was plentiful and a good inch and a quarter thick. The soup of the day was cabbage and potato that we expected to be a white color and came out looking more like their other special of beef and barley, it was cabbage potato despite its brown coloration. Very tasty and salted on point. Next time we are in the white mountains this place is a definite stop. The waitress was informational and very attentive.

I have been going to this restaurant for years. The first time it was at this location, then when…read moreit relocated to the plaza next to what is now Luchador Tacos and was rebranded Bellini's, and back to their original location and name, Marcellos once again. Over the years staff has come and gone (save for a few who return every year faithfully, and it is always a joy to see them again), but Vito's recipes are pretty steadfast. His bolognese has been my standard for decades. Once upon a time, he had the best salad dressing I'd ever had. It has changed a bit with time but still pretty incredible. The staff is not quite what it used to be - possibly due to times changing, or possibly due to my being a bit older and more cranky - but the food is always outstanding.

Reservations are a must! Opens at 4:00 and closes at 9:30 Wednesday to Sunday. We got to our…read morereservation at 5:00 pm on a Saturday. They brought the three of us to a high top table. Seating is a little tight at these tables. There are booths and lower tables but you need to take what's available if you want to eat here. Believe me, you do want to eat here! We were served delicious Italian bread with delicious garlic, balsamic, cheese & rosemary dipping sauce. We were then served with salads with their own dressing. It was really good. We ordered toasted ravioli in a marinara sauce and two baseball sized meatballs. Both delicious. Then my honey got veal parmigiana, I got Chicken, Broccoli and Ziti in a white cheese sauce, and my sister got Chicken Marsala. We were very impressed with the portions and taste of all of these dishes. It was surprising to find such fine dining down a side street in North Conway near Zebs Country store. There is plenty of parking, a full bar, plenty of wines to choose from and handicap accessible. We rated this a 10 out of 10. We didn't have dessert as it was me and my twins Birthday. But, they sure looked delicious. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will try a dessert.

They make their own everything. Including the gelato. I was met with exceptional service. The menu was big and the food was really well done. My husband d enjoyed a Ruben and I had a salad with chicken. It was all fresh, flavorful, and well done. The gelato was just the icing on the cake. Cute place, clean bathroom, street parking. I'll be back for more.

This was hands down one of the worst meals I have ever had out at restaurant…read more The waiter was great but frazzled. He was the host, server, bartender and walker and had 7 tables seated. It was my birthday so I redeemed a grey goose martini and it was watery and had stuff floating in it like pine needle pieces? The olives were tiny and as shriveled as my exes heart. There was no bread without a charge or other pre meal taste which was disappointing for the price point. My risotto meal was actually inedible. I took one bite and had my husband try it and put down my fork. The risotto had the consistency of a dollar store bag of instant rice and the flavor of a watered down packet of chicken ramen seasoning. The steak was not like any other flank steak I have ever had. It was overcooked and still cold and the texture was off. It had a weird balsamic sauce that did nothing for it. Husband got a chicken parm and ate it all because he was starving but the sauce tasted old and had an aftertaste. I have never done this before in my life but I ordered a pizza while I was sitting waiting for the check. I had waited all day for a special birthday dinner and was left hangry in the end. There were a lot of people there and they seemed to be enjoying their food and the ratings were good. This may be a case of being a small town 8/10 but a 1/10 in Portland. Big nope on the books for this one.

We loved her. The food, though, was just... fine. I'm a big pasta and sauce person, and while everything was perfectly decent, it didn't quite live up to the hype we'd heard going in. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. My espresso martini was good, but nothing special. That said, the building itself is charming and a little eccentric in a good way. I can definitely see how the experience would be elevated in warmer weather--sitting out on the patio overlooking the river would be a big plus. Overall, a good night thanks to great service and atmosphere, but the food didn't quite wow us.

Okay so I'm in the middle of the road on this one and I gonna write out a long review because of…read moreit. I'm not trashing this place because the food was ok. The prices were okay for the entrees, high for the appetizers and high for the deserts. First thing, first impressions. The building its self looks really nice, that with the sign out front make you feel like it's a classy place. Walking in you see the rainbow flag, You get inside and your greeted with a life sized cut out of Bernie Sanders. The Hostess was dismissive and seemed uninterested in helping anyone ( I have a feeling she may be the owner), customers dont generally like standing in front of an empty hostess desk. The feel of the restaurant is like a dirty, Chinese food restaurant that was built in an old house. Our party was four and we sat at a small table that was barely big enough for two appetizers on the table at the same time. I would recommend maybe 36"-42" square tables for 4. The food. They gave us a basket of bread and some dipping oil with herbs. It was ok, kinda bla... the bread was fresh but more like hoagie roll bread. We chose a small barbecue brisket pizza and some bruschetta as our apps. Pizza was good though I feel the onions needed to be cut and not left in rings... minor thing. Other than it being a small appetizer for the money, The bruschetta tasted good however the bread they served it on was more of the hoagie rolls sliced. My opinion, bruschetta needs to be served on sour dough French bread baguette or that style of crusty airy bread... not wonder bread. We ordered chicken parm, one with vodka sauce and one traditional, chicken franchise and the beef tenderloin tip over pasta. First off, we didn't get vodka sauce, clearly they don't know what vodka sauce is. There was no cream in that sauce. With that aside, the chicken parm's were good, the sauce was heavy on the pepper. I substituted the pasta for fries and would have liked to have seen more. The franchise was a smaller portion and the beef and pasta dish was a quite generous portion. All tasted good and worth the money despite the flaws. The desert was expensive for the portion size and the fact that it's clearly not homemade. Service was OK. Not great. The restaurant was mostly empty and you shouldn't need to ask for more water when the waitress can see the glass has been empty for 5 minutes plus. I went to the restroom and saw that they weren't labeled... it was labeled with the gender symbol but it was like all the gender symbols plus some I don't recognize, all in one. I was confused and it said single use. So I picked one since they were both open. Opened the door to see two stalls with garbage cans next to the toilet and it was pink. Clearly the women's room. I immediately shut the door and tried the other one. It was black and white, one stall and a urinal. Clearly it was the men's room. I've always respected women's spaces and I had a physical reaction when I realized the bathroom wasn't my place to go. This was clearly two multi person, normal bathrooms. Men don't need garbage cans next to the toilet and women don't need urinals. There are ways to identify bathrooms as for everyone and single use without virtue signaling or pandering... I was put off Also business has no place for politics. Whatever your personal beliefs are, your restaurant should be a place for everyone to enjoy a meal. You need Good atmosphere, good food and good service for a good price. I think they have potential however I think the place is doomed. Lastly, if you're going to call yourself a pasta house, make your own pasta!
