Lovely waitress took our picture with great effort, food was really good, cheap drinks, live music/good vibe. Added bonus they got homemade pictures and trinkets which I thought was awesome. Can't rec enough

Amazing waitress, very friendly and efficient. We had two pizzas and a fish & chip. Food was good but the beer needed to be retapped it was starting to go flat. Both Sam Adam's Summer and Moat were flat.

This was a classic public experience. Live music, good food, good beverages, decent price. The place was packed and we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for two. Our food came quickly and was fantastically prepared If you like pub, food, and love the ambience of an Irish pub, check this place out

We went here on a fairly busy Thursday night but all the same the service was almost non-existent. The bartenders don't seem to be annoyed that they are busy and I felt like if you are not a regular they just pass by you and check on their regulars.- at least our 2 bartenders did. The food is basic pub food. The bar pizza isn't the traditional south shore of Mass style, but it is very good and I would go back for this. The prices are reasonable. Despite the bartender staring the kitchen is backed up when we ordered, the food came out pretty fast. The bar gets busy fast and they have a overflow/waiting area with merchandise next to it. I'm not easily offended by busy places, so I will go back when in the area.

I had always passed by this place but never stopped in, until just a few days ago, when I was staying at the Wildcat Inn. The Wildcat Inn restaurant (and inn) was having a major staffing issue, so the restaurant was closed, so I finally decided to try the Shannon Pub, and I ended up finding a gem! There was live music daily, and the food was quite decent, especially the pizza. Got the garlic and sausage pizza, and it was really flavorful. Lots of local people kept the place hopping, even on weekdays. Will be stopping here again!

We had a great time here. It was lively, the food was delicious, and the service was great. It has a great hometown feel but it's great for visitors who want a fun night out too.

Yuck. This place has been here since god was a child but…read morethey never seem to be able to get it right. How do you undercook cook ravioli? The pasta came out to me paper thin and still rock hard. The server was completely out to lunch and by the time he came back to check on us, my entire party had either finished their meals or shoved the plates away in disgust. We went on a night that was "buy one, get one" so we weren't going to pay for one of the meals anyways, so when the dimwitted manager came over and proudly announced that she was taking care of my meal - YEAH, I KNOW! THAT WAS THE ADVERTISED SPECIAL - I just didn't get to eat it! I don't know what the inn rooms look like. I hope they're great, but skip the restaurant. YUCK!

We had roasted corn chowder, grilled peach burrata, calamari, crab cakes and chicken Alfredo. It was all delicious. We couldn't finish eating cause we were so full. For drinks I got an oatmeal cookie drink. Out of this world! I could not get enough of this place. The atmosphere is very nice and it's so beautiful inside. Very Christmasy. We will definitely be coming back. And I will definitely tell people that they need to eat here. Next time I will stay at the inn overnight.

The service was average to poor likely due to understaffing. We got there and waited and waited to be seated. Finally sat and waited again for our drink order. The Guinness was very good from the tap. The menu was Irish fare so all good.. Had bangers and mash and my friend had beef stew. The 4 sausages were okay but overcooked. A few were blackened. The mashed potatoes were flat out disgusting. They had a weird taste so I don't know how they were made or if they were old from the fridge. The clearly didn't use butter and milk to make it creamy and rich. The side of beans was in a little cup and tasted like they were from a can. No onion gravy that you normally find on this dish. My stomach was doing cartwheels last night and not feeling great this morning. My friend had beef stew and seriously it looked like all gravy. Not hearty at all. He said it was okay. My wife had salmon and she said it was average. Nothing remarkable about it. Too bad.

What went wrong? French fries delivered aside one of the two sandwich dishes was luke warm and nearly cold. Fries on the second sandwich dish were regular potatoes but we ordered sweet potato fries. Took 15-20 minutes to fix. Only 1 TV working on NFL playoff football weekend, and this TV was out of view of our table. Another TV located elsewhere was said to be non-operational due to a satellite dish having reception problems related to a couple of inches of "snow." The salmon add-on to the salad was overcooked and dry. So an overcooked salmon salad totaled $32, which are NYC prices for mediocre NH food. Service was very slow. It was a busy Saturday, so we didn't expect speed. What went right? Enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts appetizer. Loved a Czech beer on tap. Wildcat has a very decent tap menu. The overall ambience of the tavern-restaurant was excellent, and we especially appreciated the live music, which featured a guitarist playing 70's - 90's classic rock standards.

That was a little disappointing, though she didn't mind because she was experiencing some neck pain and just wanted a drink and meal then go home to rest. That almost never happens! Now, one did forget her apple juice and cried because we were going to go back and get it (as she realized when we got back to the hostess station), but daughter said they cleared the table as soon as we all got up.
