SEAMLESS TAN! I am new to Denver and was so nervous to get a spray tan because I haven't gotten one in three years. I usually just get spray tans for events but after finding Sinless Sun I will be getting them all the time, just because! I have never had an airbrush tan where they use a brush to smooth/blend before, but the results are phenomenal! The tan is the exact shade I asked for (about two shades darker than my normal skin) and isn't orange at all. There are no lines anywhere, even around my knees, wrists, and ankles! Absolutely seamless! The excellent quality was matched with excellent service. I walked in two minutes before my appointment and was greeted right away, asked a couple customization questions, and taken straight back! My technician was professional and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. It took about 25 minutes overall including dry time. read more

Overall, the experience was disappointing. I will start by saying my tan looks pretty good and my "Sprayer" was not part of the problem, but the customer service was lacking. I show up 5 mins early to my appointment. They are clearly running late and overwhelmed. No problem until someone came in after me with an appt time later than me saying that she would have to cancel if they didn't take her on time. As a first time airbrush spray tan go'er, who was testing it for a wedding. I was very nervous to end up looking like pumpkin spice latte ... a little too orange in some spots and pasty with some streaks of both. Fortunately, I read all the directions very well, had a fantastic artist, and their product is natural. Their spray rooms are large, which made me feel more comfortable being totally naked with a complete stranger. Albeit, the young female worker barely had clothes on, and was bra-less too. They do a great job of having you move and pose in ways to get a tan even. It lasted the advertised amount of time, and was a little lighter than I wanted, but hey, I would rather that than the alternative. Don't buy the lotion and body wash though - way over priced versus just paying attention to what product to use in drug store brand. read more

I had an overall awful experience, I have never gotten a spray tan before and I came in telling them that this was my first ever spray tan, and I was not asked what color I wanted I was just told "We will find one that matches your skin tone", I was not explained the prices of the services and I just told what was going to happen and where to go. I paid $70 for a tan that was way too dark, splotchy, and I was rushed the entire time. The girls were very nice, and the vibe was good and clean, however the money I payed for the quality and service I received was totally unfair. I called and asked for any kind of refund and I was just told no, and that it was fault because my skin was "too dry." This was my first time getting a spray tan it was easy to say I was a bit nervous when I came in. I have a very bad tan line from a tank top and I wanted to see if this would make it less noticeable. Needless to say, the experience was wonderful. They talked to me the whole time in the booth and I felt very relaxed throughout the process. The next morning when I rinsed off, the results were beautiful! The spray tan helped with my tan lines beautifully and the color was perfect for my skin, it looked very natural. NEGATIVE 10 STARS. Absolutely the worst "customer service" I've ever received in all my time living in Denver. The girl behind the counter (and she was a girl, by no means a woman, as she was shockingly immature) was far more concerned with checking herself in her mirror than helping me. I simply had some basic questions about the pricing structure and she seemed not simply bored, but IRRITATED that I had interrupted her on-the-company-clock self-care routine. When I attempted to explain that I just had a few questions I wanted answered if she could give me a bit of her attention, she sighed a huge sigh, rolled her eyes, and then glared at me grumpily. The answers I got were perfunctory, full of exasperation, and often not even included the answer to my questions (which she seemed unable to comprehend). I tried again. Her only reaction was to begin speaking to me *incredibly* rudely (I shan't repeat what she said here -- it's probably against Yelp's guidelines to say such things) and encouraging me to leave the store (I was trying to be a paying customer!). If the front counter situation is this abysmal, imagine what the actual tanning process must be like. Needless to say, I highly recommend you go here if you're looking for unfriendly & poorly-trained staff, and hope to wind up with blotchy orange skin. read more

I called this place for an appointment because my usual place couldn't get me in in time for my baby shower. Everything was fine until I went into the booth. I was surprised that the tech did not put lotion on my hands and feet to keep the spray from over tanning them and making them orange. However, being a novice tanner (I've only had 2 other custom spray tans), I didn't think to say anything. Since the appointment was at 7pm and I had to leave it on for 6-8 hours, I slept with it on. This was the same thing i had done before with no problems. However once I woke up and took a shower, I noticed my hands were orange and my feet were streaky and orange as well. I was really disappointed since my baby shower was the next day and I looked like Lindsay Lohan's tanner had applied my tan! I called Sinless Tan to tell them about what had happened. They told me that I just needed to use whitening toothpaste, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide. I tried all those things and they did not work! They seemed to imply that it was my fault and I had either sweated too much as I slept or I had touched some part of my body as I slept. I called back to say that nothing they had suggested had helped, and I was told to soak my feet and hands in water and scrub them with a pumice stone. She also said that if I wanted to come in to be resprayed, I could. Resprayed? At this point, respraying would only make things worse. I will never go back. I am so sad that this whole experience ended this way. read more

Both my husband and I got sprayed for vacation. First all they care about is up selling the lotions and products. This wasn't either of our first tan so we know the drill. Tan didn't last at all... had streaks all over our feet and ankles. The color wasn't good either so NOT worth the $60 for express will not go back. I have done sunless tanning before in San Francisco and think it's the best invention ever. I was heading to Cancun and needed a natural glow so the natives wouldn't be offended by my white pale skin. :) I decided to look up Sunless tanning in Denver and came across Sinless Sun. Alix the owner is great. Very professional and makes you feel so comfortable. Let's face it ladies, going naked in front of a stranger who is trying to get you bronzed in all crevices of your body so it doesn't look streaky could be embarrassing to most. I have mixed feelings about Sinless Sun or should I say spray tanning in general. 3 of the 5 times I have been here I have gotten a terrible want to hide my hands and feet tan. Most recent time was last week. My tops of my hands looked like they had been dipped in chocolate. I don't know if it's the new staff or location but the 2 times I was very pleased with the tan were at their old location. The reason I say A-Ok is the tan does look good in pictures. I was just embarrassed to be in sunlight. I was originally going to go again next weekend before a trip but was unhappy with these past results that I have cancelled my appointment :( Update - I actually just called and Alex the owner answered when I went to cancel. Feeling pastey? Go here! I had my college rugby reunion the last weekend of April and I wanted to look smokin' hot...and the best way to do that is to be tan or at least fake it... I made an appointment on a Thursday afternoon, while it still got slightly lighter everyday I rocked the color for about 6 days and felt great. I've definitely never stood in front of another girl with no clothes on..I've also never had anyone get on their knees and spray the inside of legs and butt cheeks. This may be getting personal but it was a totally professional thing. These ladies spray butts and boobs and creases all day long so it was like any old thing. I purchased their special $14 lotion. If I am going to do this, I'm doing it right. I have plenty left so I will use it again and again.. I'm definitely going back when I need a boost of confidence for a special occasion. I'm fair skinned, and can probably get sunburned from the thought of tanning. Fortunately, sinless sun has the perfect solution - AIRBRUSH A TAN ON! During college, I've had several friends suggest spray tanning, but the idea of having a machine do it...had zero appeal to me. Some one recommended Sinless Sun, and I have been back several times. As I mentioned before, I am fair skinned. However, their tanning product gives me a light brown/honey glow. I went here on a recommendation from a friend for a spray tan for a special occasion (graduation). I haven't gotten a spray tan ever in my life, but I felt totally comfortable. I was told on the phone by the owner what to do/not to do beforehand when I scheduled my appointment. I called the afternoon before and got an appointment for that morning. When I got there, I waited a few minutes and then was led to the tanning room. I chose a medium-light tan because I am very fair to begin with. The tan only took about 10 minutes and I felt totally comfortable the whole time. The attention to detail was pretty amazing, too. I got some other good tips about how to make the tan last and what to wear before I left. The tan honestly looks amazing and I am really happy with it. It is even and not orange at all- it looks like a real tan! Next time I would maybe go darker because it seemed like a lot of the tan washed off in the shower the first night (even though I waited 10+ hours and didn't scrub). While $38 is a lot to spend on a regular basis to me, it is totally worth it for special events or vacations. I love this place and I totally support any way to avoid harmful Colorado UV rays! read more
