    Grilled pork Banh Mi

Ordered 2 Banh Mi pork belly and grilled pork. Also got spring rolls and Vietnamese iced coffee and milk tea. The Banh Mi was so good the homie Ricky was reminded of his childhood and couldn't hold back from shedding a tear for how good it was. 5/5 would go again

Atmosphere/Service The cashier, Serena L, was nice and friendly. The service was excellent, and the employees are friendly, and they greet you when you enter. I went for my lunch. I ordered my food at 12:25 pm, and it didn't come out until 12:45 pm. If you want to eat here for lunch, I suggest you call to place your order or order online. They do have a lot of seating inside and outside. You can find the bistro on 101 W Mission Blvd, Ste 107, Pomona, CA 91766. They are open on Monday through Saturday from 8am to 6pm. They are closed on Sundays. Food/Drink For food and drink, I had one classic milk tea for $4.99. It was sweet and refreshing. It wasn't too sweet. It was perfect. I added Boba for .75 cents more. For the food, I got a famous Vietnamese cuisine, the Pork Belly Banh Mi. It is pork belly on a baguette with house mayo, pickled carrots, jalapeños, cilantro, and soy sauce. It was on the hot sandwiches on the menu, but when I got the sandwich, it was lukewarm, and the baguette was soggy. That was disappointing. The seasoning and the pickled veggies were good. The sandwich will cost you $12.50. Lastly, I had the pork dumpling. They were okay. The pork dumpling has marinated pork, scallions, and mushrooms. They didn't taste homemade. The pork dumpling cost $4.50. Overall My overall experience was okay. The food was great, except for the lukewarm, soggy pork banh mi. The employees were great, and they have plenty of seating. The boba was delicious, and there was plenty in the drink. I'll definitely order it online or place a call to order before heading to the store.

Incredible service! The Banh Mi tastes fresh and yummy, and Vietnamese coffee is to die for.

More food added pork belly banh mi slaps and it's a decent size. Viet coffee is not for the weak. Overall it's decent.

Freshly made grilled chicken Banh Mi with just the right amount of mayo along with good meat to veggie ratio! Great service and delightful conversation with the employee.

Stopped by while craving some boba, saw this place nearby. Nice little shop in downtown Pomona. Picked up a Taro milk tea and it was delicious. The bobas were as expected, and the milk tea was a bit creamier than others I've had and very tasty. This place also serves food which looks pretty good, but I didn't try it on this visit. Good spot overall to check out.

Had to report for jury duty close by and stumbled on this place while looking for a spot to chill on my 1.5 hour lunch break. I love tuna so went for the half sandwich combo with tuna with chips and a fountain drink. I actually really wanted the mac salad but they were out :( Total was $13.72 including tax and tip. I'm so glad I came here. The tuna sandwich tasted fresh and the bread had a great texture! I got Miss Vickie's spicy dill pickle chips which I've never had before but was very happy I did. It had a good tang and kick. All in all for not expecting to come here I thought it was a great experience and served its purpose. Service was fast/attentive. The space is clean. I will likely be back tomorrow if I still have to report for jury duty and to try the mac salad! Update 5/20/25: still haven't been dismissed from jury duty. Came here for lunch again and they had mac salad today! So got the half sandwich combo with cold roast beef sandwich and mac salad. Love all the fresh and crisp veggies in the sandwich but if I had to choose I would go with the tuna. Mac salad to me was a little underwhelming. It has small bits of celery, corn, and red bell pepper and lightly dressed in mayo. Glad I tried it but prob won't get again.

I've seen this location switch owners a few times, but this newest owner and management is my favorite. I went in for a quick bite and took home one of the best Bahn Mi sandwich I've ever eaten. While I was waiting for my order I peered over their menu and realized I should've ordered a few more items. They're food is cooked to order and the whole place smelled delightful. Ill definitely be back to take advantage of their buy 2 get 1 deal!

ANDY, gave the best service! The spring rolls are delicious. The peanut sauce is homemade (super delicious & tasty) and I literally devoured it after I finished my spring rolls! LOL not to mentioned my custom made matcha hot drink. Thank you for such a great experience. When I'm back in Pomona, I will definitely love to visit & eat here again. The ambiance is super cute and very clean. Very good price as well.

Nice cafe for fusion Vietnamese and European sandwiches! One of the first places in Pomona to offer a pork belly banh mi. If you're in the mood for a banh mi this place hits the spot. A good alternative to Lee's sandwiches. Plenty of seating area so you can relax and people watch while you eat. The menu can be a little overwhelming with so many options. Service was decent.

It's a family tradition to stop by here before we continue on our road trip to Las Vegas. Been doing that every since I was a kid and up until adulthood until my parents decided it was better if they just went on vacation on their own without me and my brother. I believe they got big enough to absorb the restaurant right next door. Service is as with most other Asian places. They're there, you get food, and that's that. Sometimes by the fact of just being Vietnamese you can converse with other Viets, but they don't push it here. Perfect, casual ambiance. But can get busy for the lunch rush, at least when we visited. As always, I get the Pho Tai, my go to for every pho place. Super flavorful and full tasting broth, decently tender enough meat with a normal amount (not too generous, but not skimping out either). Noodles had the perfect texture. You get all of the veggies and other toppings quite generously as well. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but for the times I visited it hit the spot.

It's located in the same shopping center as El Super off Indian Hill, right across the street from Taco Bell. The Experience & Food: Atmosphere: Clean and super welcoming! Everyone working there was friendly. It was a bit busy, so it was a little loud inside, but the energetic vibe was nice. Spring Rolls: We started with 4 spring rolls. They cut them in half for easy sharing, and the peanut sauce is absolutely phenomenal. Mains: I ordered the pork Banh Mi and my daughter got the Hu Tieu. Both dishes were delicious! The portions are huge--neither of us could finish, so we were happy to take home leftovers for later. Definitely left with happy bellies! Drinks: We both got Vietnamese coffees. They were super strong--even after asking for a bit extra milk to lighten them up! If you love a serious caffeine kick, you'll love these. Overall: Our bill came out to around $58 total, which was well worth it given how much quality food we got. We will definitely be back!

It was super rich tasty beefy goodness and had those beautiful fat jewels on top. And it was filled to the TOP of the bowl. The brisket and steak were also sliced very thin and just melts in your mouth. Everything is so tender and perfectly cut, didn't have to gnaw through any connective chewy meat. Also a huge plus having tripe and meatballs because not everyone likes tendon. My favorite part was how piping hot it was served. I threw in a huge plate of bean sprouts and basil and the soup was still very warm when finishing up. The noodles were also surprisingly perfect still even after sitting in the hot broth. If you have jury duty nearby, definitely recommend taking a walk to try this place out. It was less than a 10 minute walk from the courthouse!

Upon entering the restaurant you could tell it's a cute little mom and pop shop. The owners aren't very well-versed in English, so it takes a little bit to understand them, and all that is fine. I ordered the and my wife order the pho. When I got my order, I was speechless. What was showing on the wall looks nothing like what is in front of me. I immediately asked the owners, and they just insisted "diced beef over rice, diced beef over rice". Also, the meat in pho isn't anything we've seen in other pho restaurants - the soup is standard, for the meat tastes gamey and dry, they also aren't cut like the regular pho, instead they seem to be like the corners or leftover meat. They asked me to pay after ordering, so at that point, I've already swiped my card and paid the tip. I would not come back to this restaurant, the owners left me feeling like I got scammed.

We had the banquet hall side and it was able to accommodate 200 guests. They had the place set up early and allowed the wedding party to come in advance to drop off drinks, decor, etc. They allowed us to bring food and alcohol. They also prepaid for drinks from the bar so folks could order from a bartender. Only a few dishes were ordered (since there was other food from an outside catering vendor) and I only got to try it after it was cold so I can't give a wholistic review on the food they serve, but I really liked the leaf wrapped beef with Banh Hoi (vermicelli sheet) and the mango salad! My one complaint is the women's bathroom. Two (out of 3) of the stalls can't lock so the girls had to help each other hold the doors closed. However, it was mostly clean and had toilet paper in stock. +They offer takeout containers for leftovers from the party. +Very kind and accommodating staff.
