I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp skewer. It came out of the kitchen on an ice cold plate, the bed of vegetables was at room temperature. The shrimp had a little sweet and sour flavor, pretty mild. The server did take 10% off my bill, but they need to improve if they want to survive! read more

I went with the French onion soup after seeing positive reviews, and a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The soup taste heavily of sage, but was acceptable. The Caesar comes with pesto, so allergens be aware. For the meal we were seated at 6pm. Most of the dining area was empty. Our table was set by 6:10. Drinks were slow, and order not taken until 6:30. Food started coming at 7:20. No communication from servers and many missed opportunities to fill drinks, bring creamer, or show attention if the kitchen was struggling. My husband and I had lunch here and really enjoyed it! We were sat in a booth which was a wooden booth with no cushions. My husband has a bad back to begin with and sitting on the hard surface of the bench didn't help him. None of the chairs had cushions either so it didn't really matter where we sat. That is the only negative thing I have to say about this restaurant! Our server was awesome, she told me if something was spicy or if it was too salty because I have a lot of food sensitivities and that really helped me. I had the chicken and waffles which were delicious and my husband had the taco special. Both of us really enjoyed our meals and my husband had a flight of beer. Went out to celebrate Wife's 60th birthday. Staffing was cold and unwelcoming. After 32 minutes (with reminder to the hostess that we were there) to get to get a waitress and glass of water. Due to poor staffing, appetizers and main courses may have been good if they were not brought out luck warm to cold an hour later. The setting was acceptable but wooden chairs took its toll after 2:45 hrs of being there. This is my 5th time to the restaurant in 4 years with diminishing quality of service stacked against even higher prices, I'm surprised they are still in business let alone somehow getting a higher than average score. read more

They got us with the free beer for checking in. Literally chose this place for the free beer and it was an amazing choice. We were told free beer is one per table. I was only expecting a sampler per check in but it's legit a pint. Ordered fish and chips, the Sunday special of chicken and waffles, and Jed IPA. As your standard Asian who can't take a sip without turning into a tomato, I really wished I could have drank more. Nice bitterness with refreshing notes of citrus. The fish was perfect. Tender on the inside, crisp on the outside, and not heavily battered and bready. The perfect lightly fried fish filet. Chip options are regular or sweet potato. Opted for the sweet potato, which was the standard, from frozen sweet potato fries. Chicken and waffles were not as perfect for me, but really good nonetheless. Breading on the chicken had that nice crunch, but the chicken itself was a bit on the dryer side. Waffles were soft, which is not my preference. Taste was great. A+ for local maple syrup. I'm struggling to understand how this place has such a good rating. I got a carry-out order after fishing all day, so I was hungry! I paid over $30 and couldn't even eat the food, it was just gross. Calamari and Hair of the Dog sandwich with truffle fries, which by the way the girl asked what I wanted for my side, I said, "Can I get truffle fries?" She said yes, then they charged me $10 extra , plus they sucked! Tasty IPAs and great pub grub. The 4 Amigos met here for a casual dinner. The DIPA was very good and the nachos, pizza and burgers were great to savor and share. We ate here Saturday night. We didn't think it was anything to Rave about. It was a very hot night and the bar area was extremely hot, nothing worse than eating when sweet is dripping down your face. This was a great stop on a trip to Montreal. So many options and very nice and helpful staff. The Nachos were delicious and the pork tacos were wonderful. The themed burgers were fun and my boyfriend liked the pride burger he got. The decor is neat and being able to casually get a sense of the brewing process and how it's done. This new location is very nice and very big, especially compared to where it was when it was located downtown. Came around 815 on a friday night and it was relatively empty with a few tables finishing their meals. I had the Tuna salad which I enjoyed very much. It was served with a ginged balsamic dressing and some wonton strips along with sesame seeds coating the tuna which made the salad feel almost like a sushi salad. Very good. This location has just opened a few months ago and there will be a small brewery opening up in the next few months which will definitely be a nice addition! Also, great homemade dessert!! My boyfriend is working his way through the burger menu and said they are 3 for 3 on cooking them right and had loved every one. They have taters, big beers, and average sized pints. LivingGoods is a good restaurant in a rural area that provides good food close to home. The staff is very friendly and polite, however the service is sometimes slow. The food here is amazing, last time I went here I had a Philly Steak and Cheese Sub, which was very good and had a lot of flavor. For dessert I had a Chocolate Cheesecake, which was amazing. The menus looked a little dated but they still had good options. Coming back here again many more time for many years to come. read more

Treasure in the woods! Oh My! We dined here for drunch ...late lunch, early dinner on way home to Vermont. Long wooden Building done in Adirondack style, with classy interior. Our Philly cheese steak style sandwiches were done to perfection. Accompanied with homemade onion rings that were some of the best we ever had fresh cut french fries terrific sweet potato fries the whole meal was one of the best we've had pub fair. I saw this place on yelp while visiting my father who lives up here. I was extremely surprised to see how the area has grown from my last visit and this brewery is a great sign of that. The burger my dad and I had was amazing, juicy, and tasted like a real burger. The truffle fries are crispy and really go well with the burger. I ordered a flight of their beer and I was delicious. I preferred their darker beers the Bear and MVP were my favorite of the selection you see in my photo. The staff was extremely busy and friendly. They could benefit from one more person on staff. If 4 more tables came in they would be overwhelmed. Very hard working team I never saw them not running around. My server thought that my french onion soup might have been over toasted but it was perfect. Golden brown and delicious. If you live up here please keep this place going. We like this place a lot, but tonight was mixed. Sweet service with a smile, and despite being busy, food came out in a reasonable time. Fish and Chips special, and fries solid. The Cole slaw was inedible, I guess people like the sour style, but not us. Wings...meh, fine but....The Caesar without creamy dressing is a great concept, the added blackened shrimp were ok, but the salad didn't quite make it, not sure what pizzazz was missing, vinegar? ... but in the end it misses.. They were out of all the desserts we wanted (Tuesday @ 7:30), but the Rulf's apple crumble with vanilla ice cream was super. We'll be back! read more
