Tigersblood from the drive thru.

Holy moly -- Yes, it was a bit out of the way for us. But, I'm SO glad we found Sips! As much as I like it, my wife loves it even more. After visiting the Nashville area for CMAFest and finding a true SnoBall, it has become my wife's mission to have one everywhere we go. Sips was so good, we came on back to back days. My favorite of the two times was the stopped in was the tigers blood. Having that surrounding soft serve with sweet condensed milk on top was heavenly on a 100 degree day. I'm not exactly sure, but their snoball didn't melt as quick as other establishments on cooler days. Our two dogs were also treated with their own pup cup. You have a solid customer any time that we are remotely in the area.

Merryberry with beets added

Whatever your beverage of choice is (not alcoholic though) Sips has you covered! They have juices, smoothies, coffee and hot chocolate. Not feeling a drink? They also have shaved ice to cool you down in that Summertime heat. Sips is a small stand off of Lebanon Pike so you park in their lot then walk up to their window. They have a few brightly colored seats on their patio area but it seems most people just grab a drink to-go. My go-to (Juice Bar) was closed on a Sunday so Sips came to the rescue. I ordered the Merryberry smoothie and I asked if they could add beets without making it taste offensive, to which they said they could. The taste was great and they made it work. With nice, quick service I was on my way again. Tip: Check-in to this location on your Yelp mobile app for $1 off any Super Sipper sized beverage!

I popped by after being in the area and Yelping coffee places, given the reviews, photos and proximity, off I went and in I pulled! Since I had never been, I decided to park and walk up tot he window, where I chatted the barista and landed on the Iced Peaks (Mocha). It features THREE different chocolates Including white mocha, dark and milk. I was a bit worried about the ole calories, and then was told I could get it sugar free with almond milk...and at that moment, they had a deal! I grabbed the 20 oz size and added a few cookies to my order as well. The Peaks was absolutely delightful and perfection! Easily one of the best tasting mochas I have had around the city! They have a solid variety of drinks, but the Specials menu has the tastiest. There are a few drinks I cannot wait to come back and try...The Honeymoon is next on the list! I really appreciated the variety of size options and the wide array of sugar free syrup options! Those two things alone would bring me back! Service was stellar. Both baristas were friendly and efficient. Pricing was a tad surprising, but not a deal breaker. For my 20oz iced mocha and two cookies, it came to around $16/$17. At that price point, it's a special treat when in the area, and I am good with that...it's worth it. Overall, obsessed at this point and excited for my next visit to Elevate!

It's in Donelson, and they truly check every box. Quick drive-thru, great prices, friendly staff, and tons of organic options. Their food menu is just as impressive as their drink menu. Sandwiches, all-day breakfast, salads, and even Aussie pies. I could keep going. I ordered one of their SmartFruit smoothies and went with the Tropical Harmony + Aloe (papaya, guava, passion fruit, pineapple, and aloe vera.) All I can say is WOW. Hands down the best smoothie I've had in Nashville, and it was only $5. I'll definitely be back soon to try their coffee and food. I took a quick peek the holiday menu, and I already have my eye on "The Grinch." Such a great spot all around!!

There's a small parking lot and also a drive through. I headed inside just so I could get a vibe for the place. It was around 10:30 on a Saturday morning and it was packed but the line was moving efficiently. There are a few tables and seating areas that look comfy and many people were enjoying attractive brunch plates in addition to coffee. Service was friendly and patient and everyone was working hard as a cohesive team. None of their seasonal specialty drinks were really calling my name, so I settled on an iced cinnamon dolce latte. I saw on their Instagram they had a Thai coconut mango sticky Rice Krispie treat on special and that had ME written all over it, so I was thrilled when I managed to snag one of those. My drink came out quickly and I was on my way! My latte was tasty. Not too sweet, balanced, and smooth. It was a scoche heavy on milk imo but I definitely enjoyed it overall. The cinnamon flavor was lovely. The Thai coconut mango sticky Rice Krispie treat was super yummy and such a unique and cool idea! A little more coconut flavor would've taken it to heavenly heights, but the mango bits were in there at a perfect ratio and added some great texture. Would happily eat this again! Definitely a sweet and inventive local spot with a super wholesome vibe. I'd return in the future next time I'm nearby in Nashville!

Visiting the area and didn't want the sub par free hotel breakfast. Glad we ventured out as this…read morewas probably the best meal we had while in Nashville. We dined early on a Saturday so it wasn't busy yet. Service was wonderful. Staff told us of their favorites and didn't steer us wrong. You must get the grits! They were delicious! Love how bright the inside is. I will visit again when I am in Nashville next.

I've been wanting to try this place for ages, but it always seemed packed. Well, today (Memorial…read moreDay) was no different. I tried to swing by around ten minutes to noon, but it was a disaster. There were heaps of people waiting outside, and it didn't look promising. I went to the hostess stand and asked the guy if I could get a table for one, and he said, "Oh, you can sit at the bar; it's open seating. There's one open seat right there!" So, I walked through and was approached by another worker who asked me what I was doing. I told her the guy said I could sit at the bar, and there was an open seat, even though I never saw one. I did see open seats outside at the bar, though. The bar has two sides, one outside and one inside. It seemed alright; it wasn't too hot or humid, so I went. There were dirty dishes all over the place, and I sat down. Another worker asked me, "Are these dishes yours?" Which seemed a bit strange because the guy works the bar and wouldn't he have known the person sitting there before me left them? Anyway, I said no, and he cleared them. I then waited about 5 minutes before another worker skillfully wiped the bar of debris and then got three menus and three sets of silverware (two more guys sat down next to me) and asked me if I wanted water. I said, "Yes, please." She went off, and then shortly after, I saw the same guy come with a menu and a set of silverware and a water. Thumbs up for the water but thumb down for the slowness. I saw the menu and was torn between pancakes and biscuits. I didn't really want anything heavy, so I got the biscuits and gravy but added an egg. I also got a coffee. The wait time for the food was super quick, and the food was really good. The biscuits are small, and they're okay. The egg was good, but it's kinda hard to mess up an egg. I saw the food the people sitting next to me got, and it looked amazing! Pancakes, etc. Overall, the service was pretty bad, but the food was good. I saw no sense of urgency in the workers when they were obviously swamped. I might come when it's not so busy next time. Side note, maybe I'm showing my age, but the price of regular drip coffee was a bit steep. ($4).
