Yes, I know they are difficult, but I was coming in to just smooth down the bridge, and I ended up with bumps and ridges after Dr Yoo revised my nose. After the nose splint came off I saw the issues but was told it was just swollen. After a year and swelling is gone this issue is 100 percent more visible!!! I went in hoping he would fix this but he suggested I get filler to smooth out the ridge he created and wanted to charge me $1,000 for that and I'd have to repeat it once a year. I was also charged $300 for the appointment because I wanted to ask about another possible procedure and instead of just talking during my one-year post op appointment I was charged $300 because I had a few questions in regard to a temporal lift during my post op appointment. The front desk told me I needed to text pictures of myself to a cell phone number and then I was directed to make an appointment with a patient coordinator a week later who is not the nurse or doctor. It was only during that call with a young girl -- after sending personal photos and diving into concerns I was experiencing that I was informed of the consult fee. It was a turn off and I think it's not reasonable for privacy reasons to ask anyone to send personal photos to a phone number without really being forth coming on the fact that there will be a $300 fee for the doctor to see them and to see you. There are may many brilliant plastic surgeons and consultants and attorneys who do not require you pay upfront to meet them. Much like taking care of a legal issue or searching for a financial advisor or an estate planner -- we should have the opportunity to meet a doctor without strings attached. This may not concern you, but this was just my experience. I wish there had been transparency and honest communication immediately about a $300 consultation fee before I sent photos and sensitive information.

I'm a 65-year-old woman who was ready for a big transformation -- not to look like someone else, but to feel like myself again. I started by interviewing several surgeons because I was planning to have a lot done and I wanted it to look natural. Many had great reviews and seemed capable, but Dr. Kim stood out from the very beginning. She was thoughtful, thorough, and so knowledgeable. My first consult with her lasted about an hour, and the second one went for two full hours. She took tons of notes on everything I said. I remember walking out thinking, She's the one. So, what did I have done? Quite a bit! I had a face, neck, and brow lift; fat grafting (used as filler in my facial area); lower eyelid blepharoplasty; and perioral dermabrasion on my upper lip. I was under anesthesia for around 8.5 hours. From pre-op to post-op, the process was easy to follow and honestly kind of seamless. I've had zero complications -- none. Now I'm two months out, and I feel fabulous. I think I look refreshed and natural -- not overdone at all. My scars are already fading, and I'd say I look 10 to 15 years younger. My neck was my biggest issue going in, and now it's one of my favorite results -- absolutely perfect. An unexpected perk? The fat grafting has improved my skin quality. My complexion is much clearer now, and the age spots I used to have are barely visible. Dr. Kim also has such great bedside manner. She's professional and focused but also warm and easy to talk to.
