I was really excited to work with Sista Soul's Cleaning for my first ever condo cleaning. I had initially scheduled for a cleaning in November, but on the day of my cleaning they didn't show. When I reached out a few hours after my appointment time, they let me know there had been an error in scheduling and they had cleaned a different Amy's house. I understand mistakes happen, so I wasn't too upset at the time. They offered 50% off a future booking, which I wasn't able to schedule until now (I reached out a few weeks ago). I emailed tonight to confirm the time and estimated cost for my cleaning for Saturday because I haven't heard anything since we set the date. Per the scheduling email from them, I was "locked in for 11:00am on the 28th". The email I received tonight said "we have you down at 10:00am" and though I asked specific questions about cost, payment type, and an estimate of cost, I was given no details about anything that I asked. I don't think anyone even introduced themselves through our dozens of emails back and forth. I don't even know their names except from the other reviews. I cancelled the cleaning because it shouldn't be this difficult to schedule. It's annoying to think about all the time I spent emailing with them (and writing this review) and I'm going to end up cleaning on my own anyway. read more

My mom lives with me and we've both had surgeries the last few years and haven't been able to deep clean or clean anything well that we have to bend over to do so I searched online and picked this company based on reviews and that they are a woman owned company. I booked Sista Soul's for a move out cleaning for the townhouse I had been leasing. While asking about availability over the phone I told them I just wanted a 2-hour clean if at all possible. These women were awesome. Super friendly, responsive, great eye for detail, even organized some of clutter spots, and so affordable especially for the deep clean I order. I work full time and are in grad program part time, and my partner works full time usually 10 hrs day. We are remodeling our kitchen in stages, and we finally got to point someone could wipe down the cabinets and etc. I have old house with large dog, so it's dusty all the time. I hired them as a form of self care after finished up my quarter and not having the time to properly clean my place in probably 3 months. They dusted everything but the ceiling fan(totally understandable due to having to climb to reach them), cleaned the oven to point it look almost new, and wiped down all the appliances. My bathroom looks cleanest I have seen them. The floors are super clean, too. I am beyond delighted with the services, and it's locally owned black business. Sista Soul was amazing! This is the first cleaning service we've hired since moving here from LA, and we were scanning all the different places available on Yelp. We didn't want to use another big corporate "get in and get out" cleaning company. We really wanted to find a more personal, independent experience, and that's exactly what Sista Soul offered! They were so kind on the phone and personable, it was like talking to a friend. They let us know they were on their way day of, came inside and socialized with our dogs (a huge plus!).
