The egg-rolls are light and crispy, fried rice is packed with delicious red flavorful pork, and the chicken was white breast meat with a light crispy shell, and perfectly balanced sauces! Sisters Chinese is a good restaurant. The service was friendly and quick, the ambiance was simple, and it felt like your family run Chinese restaurant. I live out in California and whenever I'm back in my home state I have to get Chinese food. All I'm going to say is that it's different. It's nostalgic for me and thats why I have to go. The food here seemed solid to me. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken combo plate with fried rice and steamed broccoli. The chicken was fried perfectly and the sauce was deliciously sweet and spicy. Visited for take out yesterday. Without a doubt, the worst Chinese ever! Boneless ribs were cut into the width of a pencil and I could not chew them. Low mien smelled of vinegar, tasted just 'wrong". It was just not that good and really expensive. Yelp really led me wrong, based on reading other reviews ... I have been hoping to find good Chinese food in Rhode Island for a while. Sounded promising ... but the search continues. Post-pandemic I don't know what the fuck happened to American style Chinese food. The quality and taste just took a nose dive. For so long I took for granted that, unless I was in a mall food court, most Chinese restaurants would have above average to awesome food. Now it seems 2 out of 10 have anything decent and 5 out of 10 are inedible. This place did not taste fresh, like other have said. It tasted like frozen, grocery store Chinese food. - Egg Rolls ... They taste like Cinnamon and Nutmeg. I've never had an egg roll that tasted like this. Beyond that, they are too dough heavy. Seems like the wrapper is a main componant and not a wrapper. There isn't much shredded cabbage, etc. vs. fried wonton wrapper. - Crab Rangoon ... no crab inside or even crab flavour. All you can taste is garlic powder. I prefer a sharp cream cheese and scallion flavor. This tasted like ricotta cheese blended with a mound of garlic powder. The wrapper was again too overpowering and fried a bit too long. - Chicken fingers ... The only decent part of the meal. They were plump and crispy. The coating of rice flour was bland and needed to be dipped in duck sauce or hot mustard. If I was forced to come back here, I'd get the chicken fingers as my entree. - Fried shrimp ... one bit and I spit it out and threw it away. Was it even shrimp? If so, it was probably the fishing bait kind. The cornmeal batter added nothing. I'd have thought I was eating bland calamrinl or pencil erasers. Is it shrimp paste? Why is it circular? - Beef Terriyaki ... Slimy and undercooked. It is just a bland piece of meat. No real seasoning or marinade. The website picture shows a dark brown piece of meat with blackened edges from the grill. This was light grey in color and slimy and bland. - Pork strips ... Typical. Not good or bad. I'd say these were your average run of the mill strips with a slightly less BBQ'ed taste. - Pork fried rice ... Actually some of the better fried rice I've had. Plenty of pieces of things in them and pleasing flavour. - Weird fried wontons. Like eating fried Saltine crackers twisted in a knot. Overall, absolutely not my cup of tea. A small fried rice and small pu pu platter for one came to thirty bucks after the tip! (Which they pretty much force you to leave, even if picking up) You do get a shitload of food in a pu pu platter for one. It's just not a good thing from here. The only devent stuff I had was the chicken fingers and the fried rice. Everything else I wished I thrrw away vs. wasting the calories. read more

This is just the most underrated place for Chinese food. It's the standard menu but they put their own twist on it. The sauces are lighter and much more flavorful. Hands down, it's my go to place. Always have done take out so can't speak to service. But the food is always ready when I arrive and hot when I get home. read more

You enter a really quiet place. No radio and tv is muted. The workers are really nice especially the husband and wife owners. He is not what u expect- an older white man who is hilarious. The wife an older Chinese lady that is hustling. A great- hilarious duo. The place is big inside with a side room that you can fit a little party, a large bar and a cute dining room. I started with the hot and sour soup - which was spicy and good but a bit on the salty side. I then ordered Chow Mein- Fall River Style. The Chow Mein was delicious. Tons of Veggies- like a moo goo gai pan- over crunchy noodles. The rice was not very hot but the egg roll was very tasty. Overall there is a theme here with the food- a bit salty. First time takeout. Ordered via their website. VERY fresh. Had fried rice, chicken lomein and egg roll lunch. The chicken was in decent pieces- thin and easy to eat but still substantial. Loved that the veggies still has snap in them. Wish I loved the egg rolls -- seemed very fresh, made in house, perfectly stuffed and cooked. However- I am not a big fan of Chinese 5 spice which is strong in the egg roll. It's not them, it is me! I've been trying so hard to find a really good Chinese spot in Warwick. This place is definitely worth it. They jumped right to the top of my list! Tried the teriyaki beef - moist and full of flavor. Boneless spare ribs - not fatty and chewy, with perfect flavor. Egg rolls- not overly greasy, nicely packed, definitely a different taste in them. Along the lines of cinnamon but not cinnamon. It was different but not horrible. Sweet and sour chicken - not excessively battered, nice thick chicken inside and amazing sauce. Beef with broccoli - perfectly cooked and seasoned with an amazing sauce. The rice was great! Also, I was starving so I skipped pictures (sorry)! We hadn't been to Sister's in a while. We stopped in tonight for a Scorpion Bowl and to order take out. Something we have done for ages. How shocked were we to hear that Lisa sold the restaurant! The Scorpion Bowl was excellent. They brought us out Lisa's famous fried Wonton chips with sauce. We ordered our usual...Spicy Garlic Wings, Crab Rangoons and House Special Fried Rice. I have to say....for 6:00 on a Thursday night, a lot of take out left the building! Back to our food....the Spicy Garlic Wings were very good. The Crab Rangoon's were a bit undercooked. But they were tasty. They needed to be fried in hotter oil. The Fried Rice was good. Large pieces of chicken. Good size shrimp. Tiny chunks of spare ribs. No beef. Hardly any vegetables. Fried rice needs pea pods! Right? We were a little disappointed that they raised the prices a dollar for appetizers and two dollars for everything else. I wish the new owners well. Took my order and the food was out like lightning. I did the General Tso's dinner combo. Asked for it extra spicy with a side of crab Rangoon. I haven't had crab Rangoon a that crispy in awhile. The chicken wasn't all breading. For that kind of service and quality of food today.... Unheard of it. So if you're looking for a new Chinese spot or one to upgrade to, you found it. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the service is always attentive and friendly. But what really stood out to me was the quality of the food. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. In the Orange Chicken, all big hunks of white meat chicken fried in a light batter, tossed in a citrusy sauce with pieces of orange zest. I especially enjoy the Wonton Soup, house made wontons, big pieces of roast pork, as well as Pea pod leaves and Chinese vegetables in a perfectly seasoned and balanced broth. I highly recommend ordering the Egg Rolls as they were to die for! Haven't tried the whole menu yet but everything we get blows our mind as it is full of flavor! We always drive by this place and decided to try it for take out. We ordered the crab Rangoon, not bad. It had a good crisp but the filling was so so. Not as creamy as we would like it. Also got an order of hot & sour soup ... eh, it was bad. It did not have the sour taste, it was just sweet. It just tasted like soy sauce but sweet. The beef Lo Mein wasn't your typical Lo mein noodles. The noodles were thin and wavy vs the typical noodles which is long & round. The flavor was too salty that we had to mix white rice to tame it down. The last dish we got was the sesame chicken. The chicken was okay, not crispy enough and no bold flavor.
