My wife had nails done today and had an awful experience. Nails were extremely poorly shaped, powder material was filled with lumps and overlapped onto skin. She complained and was told "there was nothing more to be done." Afterwards, she found another nail salon on Main Street. Technician said she had NEVER seen such shoddy work. This was my second visit to sisters and it was even better than the first time. I had Jamie as my nail tech. This was my first time having a male nail tech. He was outstanding! I opted for the 85 minute pedicure, which included a 20 minute foot and leg massage that rivals any reflexology/professional masseuse. I have to rate this pedicure as the best I've ever had! He was definitely on the aggressive side, which may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I walked away with an incredible pedicure. Can't recommend Sister's highly enough! read more

I had a basic pedicure on 4/18 at Sisters. The pedicure description said that it would last 35 minutes. Less than 20 minutes after arriving, it was done. Once I left, I realized that the nail polish was uneven, none of my calluses or blisters had been addressed, and there was polish on my skin. I thought it was strange how quickly he performed the massage/salt rub, but thought maybe that was their protocol since this was my first visit. My mom has had great experiences here with both manicures and pedicures (that lasted the listed time), so hopefully this is a one-off, but I would recommend being aware of potentially being rushed through and being diligent about checking to make sure you receive what you were expecting. read more

They were quick , available, clean NEGATIVES My nails don't look very good at all. Cuticles were messy , polish all over my nails and looked chipped / spotty( see photos) I had gone back in there immediately to have them fixed. Which they gladly did. I made an appointment today and asked for someone gentile. I showed up and a man did my manicure and pedicure. Not that it matters but he was very rough and kept talking with the customer in the next chair and looking at her. At one point I had to say "please gentile" because I was afraid he was going to cut me, because his eyes and attention were focused on the customer in the next chair and he was using the tools in such a rough manner. It was nonstop chatter. I have been going to this place for a while and slowly watching it go downhill. When we moved to the manicure, he almost cut me three times by almost catching my skin in the nail clipper. Usually going to the salon is relaxing but between the constant chatter of the employees with each other and the anxiety of almost being cut, I will never go back again. The place also needs to be cleaned better. It is a shame, I never post reviews, but it was warranted. wow. received literally the laziest manicure/pedicure at this place. i came in thinking i could get a decent service, something basic, no problem. i'm traveling through, on a tight schedule, & need something within walking distance from my hotel. the picture below is actually the "after". i didn't get a shot of my pedicure (1 coat of polish, no base or topcoat). once back at the hotel, i showed my team my nails, & it was unanimous that this situation wasn't even close to being passable. also, i paid close to $100 for this. i called yesterday to get a refund. like i mentioned, not a resident of florida, and i'd already moved on to the next city. i had to get another mani/pedi over this work, which was a huge inconvenience to my schedule, but whatever. when i called to speak to someone about said refund, they refused, & kept repeating i'd need to come in. i don't live there, i need a refund. we talked in circles, & she eventually hung up on me. wow. TL;DR - LAZY WORK, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. another hot tip: if a salon is completely empty on a saturday afternoon, which is usually prime time, it's probably for good reason. read more

Omg yes! Never have I ever received a pedicure and manicure with such relaxation, than I did, yesterday at Sister's Nail Bar. The staff greet you and seat you, asking if you'd like something to drink, which is always nice to start your self care experience with. Both my girlfriend and I treated ourselves to a mani pedi. Our technicians each brought their own flair to giving us our manicures and pedicures. The massage chairs in the pedicure room, are awesome! I highly recommend trying them out. Many things. This was my first time here and no one was there at the receptionist desk. My toe nail polish was not what i asked for. the polish for my toes i handed them was green and they gave me BLUE. I showed a picture of what i wanted my finger nails to look like and it looks NOTHING like it. The color is off. On top of the fact that they did not shape my nails correctly. Proceeded to push back my cuticles without soaking my hands and using a nail filer instead of the correct tool. Then cut my finger with it and sprayed alcohol on my finger ingnoring the fact that they cut my finger. They used nail extensions but did a horrible job blending them with my nail. You can see exactly where the extension starts. The nail polish is bumpy and uneven. And they tried to say i was done after they accidentally wiped nail polish off my nail so i only had half my nail painted. if i didn't ask if they were gonna fix it, thru would have let me pay an outrageous amount of money for a half assed job. my nails are shaped SO HORRIBLY. I wanted coffins and they gave me some bullshit shape that make my nails look like they're all pointing different directions. Before they painted my nails, asked for matte nails and they said they could do it. Only to tell me they can't after they already painted my nails. And It hasn't even been a full 30 mins since i left and the polish is already chipping. They guys are over priced and do not offer what they promise. Disappointing. I deserve a refund. Horrible horrible place. The nail tech are very inexperienced and unskilled. I had a pedicure, it was done nice, but I had paint all over my toes. Cheap gel paint chipped the next day. Chartered $25 for gel polish...WTH! Wanted full set, after they put the tips on I was informed they do not do acrylics, only dip. My nail tech was Whitney-do not let her touch your nails.... Seriously do not!- my nails are not shaped, lumpy, uneven around my cuticles and no shine. I paid $80 for a nice pedicure and horrible paint. I would not pay for nails. 2 hrs and they were unacceptable, unprofessional and now have to be redone elsewhere. Stay away from this horrible place read more

Place was amazingly clean and nice looking. I was in town for only a few hours. I had a horrible manicure. I did not notice how bad until I wS in the sun. I tried to handle this directly with them, but the phone message continuously said the memory was full. I emailed them pictures with no response. So know I will go public. They did not soak my fingers. No wonder my cuticles look horrid. You can see polish is outside of cuticle bed, cuticles not trimmed, etc. I can not recommend them. Despite looking nice, this place had terrible service. In the middle of my manicure, the technician ran off to deal with another customer. I assume she was new because she didn't ask me what kind of nail shape I wanted, then proceeded to file my nails, buff them, and THEN cut them, and they ended up misshapen, even after asking her to reshape them. After thirty five minutes, she finished cutting my cuticles, and they looked awful - assuming because she didn't know what she was doing and never soaked my hands, just went straight to cutting. Finally she started painting, and when she did it was in short strokes and she went over it several times making it uneven and splotchy. In the end my nails were misshapen, poorly painted, and my cuticles looked awful! We asked for my cuticles to be redone, and the technician still failed to do it correctly. At checkout, we asked for a discount for a poor job and the manager said 10% was the best she could do. We were insulted and ended up just paying the entire thing, but were unable to tip due to the terrible job and poor experience. I will not be returning! read more

Awful experience. I had an appointment for a no chip manicure. They wrapped my hands to soak off the old polish right away, and then left me for more than 30 min just sitting there (usually this process is about 10-15 min before they remove the rest by hand). At that point the acetone was burning my hands and I was in pain. The person who was supposed to be doing my nails (Whitney) accepted a walk in appointment and brushed me off when I approached her and said I need to have the acetone soak off my hands and it was burning. She said just a few minutes to have it taken off. I waited another 5 min and someone else just took the gloves off, but didn't remove the polish. It's terrible for your nails to not immediately remove the polish after removing the acetone foils. I waited another ten minutes before standing up again and asking if someone was going to be able to help me. I was totally ignored by the manager as well until ultimately she approached me and continually was touching my shoulder and trying to shush me and tell me that she would give me 10% off. I was very upset at this point and told her not to touch me, and that 10% is not even close to making it right. I waited a FULL HOUR before they even started on my nails. They didn't do ANY cuticle work and only did two coats of polish. I complained again and they only gave me 50% off, which honestly I feel it should have been free. It wasted my entire Sunday afternoon. It wasn't a manicure, it was a polish change. My cuticles are a mess. Horrible experience and will never go back. read more

Worst SNS manicure I have had done in a LONG time. I asked Susan every step of the way to fix the issues I had with my nails. Every request was met with her laughing. I finally gave up after asking her to fix the shape countless times and expressing concerns about the chunkiness of my nails. This is NOT coffin shaped. I came from Tampa to go to a wedding and did my nails in Tampa the night before. Unfortunately they were a little too long and I needed them fixed right before the wedding. Luckily enough for me I found Susan at Sister's nail bar and she is a lifesaver! I have to say even if it was just to trim down my nails she did an amazing job at reshaping them and not re-doing the SNS nails I already had in place. I decided to stop at Sisters Nail Bar to get a pedicure before going to an event later that evening. When I arrived I was denied service because I was not wearing a mask. I went here in December of 2022 with my best friend and had amazing nails that lasted a month, but I had left my AirPods Pro there and I was visiting Florida, since I have a house there, but I didn't notice until I got home and we didn't have time to get them. We flew back home (900 miles away) and asked them to ship it to us in January of 2023 and they agreed to. It's now July 27, 2023 and on Find My, I see that my AirPods are STILL at there store. The salon itself is very cute, that is, aesthetically pleasing. Everything looks very clean. In terms of the actual service I received (manicure) I've definitely had better. For a $20 basic manicure I would expect to have perfectly shaped nails and no polish bleeding onto my cuticles which was not the case. The nail tech was very nice and offered to re-shape and touch up when she realized I wasn't pleased but the overall end result was lacking. Gorgeous establishment..feels like a fairytale when you walk in. I came during slow hours (130pm on a Friday) and was seated right away. My nail technician was May. She was extremely considerate and asked me how I liked to have my nails. She took her time and was very detail oriented. I opted for the Classic Pedicure for $50 ($45 because of my check in..thanks Yelp!) and I can honestly say it was the best pedicure I've ever had! It included a 10 min massage and ohhhh LAWD...May really did a fantastic job. She really got into the pressure points and put in the work.
