Great customer service from the owner, Mitch. Even though this business has been in Sisters for years, I managed to overlook it until they moved their operations to the main drag on Cascade Avenue. Nicely organized merchandise with shelves filled with olives, nuts and oils. They carry a wide variety of Lucero products (http://www.lucerooliveoil.com/), which seem to be all the rage these days in Oregon. Mitch told me they've actually sold their products for four years, but also noticed the increased buzz. He was generous with samples and I really enjoyed (and purchased) one of his top sellers, White Balsamic Vinegar infused with Strawberry. I couldn't pass up the nuts either and thought their price and selection was superior to another local business, Deez Nutz. read more

This is such a cute little store. It's right on the main road going through Sisters. I never really paid attention for years as I passed through. But one day I stopped to go for a walk and really explore the town, which was a ton of fun to me. I found pickled garlic on my last trip in. I had never had pickled/jarred garlic before, so I was very curious what the texture would be. I wasn't sure if it would be good or bad. I was curious about the texture. As silly as it may sound, I wasn't sure if it would be mushy or solid, like fresh garlic is solid.I also found sliced jalapenos, which were wonderful. I happen to ask an employee about the garlic, as I really just wanted an opinion/recommendation. I only really expected a little information about it. Instead, they offered me a sample. Well, I was impressed right there. The customer service was excellent, and far more than I had expected. It turns out that I really enjoyed the garlic, and I bought a jar. They have quite an interesting selection of infused oils, honey, nuts, olives, pickled vegetables. There are so many choices, you can't go wrong. I highly recommend the infused oils and jarred garlic as well. Would I return to this store? Absolutely. It's a specialty shop with so many great choices, and the customer service is excellent. Such a great little store! They are very generous with samples in order for you to make an informed decision about what you like best and what you want to buy. The olives, garlics, mustards, nuts, etc are all reasonably priced. Very diverse range of flavors and multiple uses for each item. Highly recommend stopping in here! read more

This place was awesome!!! The owner, Julie, was so nice, helpful, and had a ton of info not just about the products they sell, but about Sisters as well. She let us sample a ton of different stuff. The LEMON HONEY ALMONDS are TO DIE FOR!!! Between my friends and I, we bought out all of her stock on those! WOW!!! So good!!! What a fun place for snacks and treats for yourself or gifts for friends and family. I made sure to get her info so I can reorder online when my almond stash runs out. DELICIOUS!!!!! read more

The owner was very knowledgeable & friendly. Was dog friendly and gave our pup cooper a treat! We sampled a couple of vinegars that were to die for. We settled with a couple jars of olives and they were amazing. If you find yourself walking the Main Street, definitely make a point of stopping in- you won't regret it!! :) read more

I had never been in an olive and nut store before, so I didn't want to pass the Sisters Olive & Nut Company without at least going in and looking around. I'm not interested in different kinds of olives at all, but I was impressed with the long shelves of different flavored nuts they had. They had bags of different flavors of almonds, pistachios, cashews, and peanuts all on display I like almonds so I examined all the almond flavors very intently. There were plenty of honey and fruit flavors, but I wanted something savory rather than sweet. I was initially interested in just a bag of Onion Garlic flavored, and since there were free samples of all the flavors at the front counter, I went to get a sample of Onion Garlic just to make sure I liked it. Yep, it was good! I started chatting with the owner up at the counter and he said if I liked Onion Garlic, then I should try Cheese Jalapeño too. I hesitated at first because the word "jalapeño" conjured up thoughts of outrageous spiciness. The owner said it wasn't really terribly spicy, and that actually he loved the stuff himself. I tried a sample, and he was right. . .it was really good! OK, so I ended up getting both Onion Garlic and Cheese Jalapeño. I'm thankful for the friendliness of the store owner and his great suggestion. read more

First of all - the owner is so very nice, immediately welcomes you, let's you taste just about anything that's bottled. The olives are great! We tried a few and went home with our two favorites - garlic stuffed Olive with habanero brine and the second was blue cheese stuffed olives. Definitely will be back. read more
