Amazing Experience. My dog had evolved so much by coming to Sit means Sit. She is still a puppy but acts like an older dog due to their training. Highly recommend

Looks like Finley had a great time boarding and training at Sit Means Sit. We appreciated the updates and photos. The trainers are great and took the time to explain the process to us. We are looking forward to transitioning him into our homesetting and reinforcing what he's learned.

We were referred to Sit Means Sit by a friend after I had a confirmed torn rotator cuff from repeated yanking on walks with Barkley. Getting him on leash and walking him was miserable and we were frustrated. We knew he was trainable but he always chose being naughty. While getting his updates during his 20 day stay, we saw immediately he was doing so well and saw what he was capable of! It was truly night and day. Instead of being frustrated and yelling at him, we now play games with him in his continued training and spend more time loving on him and less time being frustrated. Hands down Sit Means Sit gave us confidence and got Barkley on loose leash walks without a pronged collar. The continued relationship and check-ins have helps us trouble shoot as needed and Andy is truly Barkley's buddy. Their bond is so strong and Barkley LOVES to see Andy.

We were referred to Sit Means Sit by a family member and were so glad we brought our puppy River to them. We sent him away with Andy for 10 days to learn all the basic foundations that a dog should know. He did so well and we're very appreciative to Andy for the consistency and love he gave River. We also love that it's not just the 10 days they work with him. We had follow up training after and now we're joining the group training to make sure he has all his commands down. It's better to put in the time and money now so that they're well behaved.

    The boys in "place"

I want to say a big ""Thank You" to everyone at SMS. From Taytum for listening to me have a melt down and answering all my questions. To Whitney for taking us in on an emergency situation and explaining to me the details of their well established board and train program. To trainers, Kevin and Megan, for rehabilitating and nurturing our 2 boys. Winston is not the reactive corgi anymore but a more confident and happy 4 year old. Ace was given the foundation to being the best version of himself. Also, thank you for giving me and my family the tools to continue their hard work. We just finished our 1st group lesson and it was a success!!! No stress and to see the boys in action around the other dogs was amazing! I appreciate all of you and your dedication to our dogs.

Everyone there loves animals especially dogs. They are all so kind, and loving, and sweet. Jack went in a little stubborn but he warmed up nicely to everyone. Our trainer was Kevin and he just loved on our little guy while training him. They are so good at getting back to you, answering questions etc. I really loved everyone here. Joel, Andy.

Sit Means Sit completely transformed my puppy, Oliver, in a way I never thought possible. I found them at a point of utter frustration after months of dealing with typical but exhausting puppy behaviors. Oliver did the 10-day board and train program, and even after the first video update (about 3 days in), I could hardly believe the progress. He was like a new dog. The discipline they instilled in him is so impressive. We had been dealing with all the classic issues (pulling on walks, not listening, chewing, digging, and just general disobedience) and now, those problems are a thing of the past. Our whole family is more relaxed and happy because we're no longer constantly worried about what he's getting into, and Oliver is clearly more content too, since he's no longer always in trouble. The ongoing support they offer after the initial training is amazing and lasts for your dog's entire life. They are quick to respond to questions and give advice. Huge thanks to Andy for his incredible work. He's not only a great trainer who my dog adores, but just a great, personable guy. You can really tell that everyone there genuinely cares about your dog and is passionate about helping them thrive. I can't recommend them enough. It's truly life-changing for you and your dog.

    Our well-trained bully girls

We had both of our old english bulldogs (ages 2 & 3) go through training with Sit Means Sit and cannot recommend it enough! Our dogs were at different levels with their training experience and the trainers were able to bring both dogs & us as owners up to the same level. The trainers at Sit Means Sit recommended the "jump start program" for our 3 yr old and the "day train program" for our 2 yr old & they got our pups on their schedule in a timely manner. They are fantastic with communication & following up regarding how training is going or answering any questions we may have. The trainers at Sit Means Sit are truly invested in helping you & your dog succeed. We are happy we chose to train with them & would highly recommend!

We have had an excellent experience with Sit Means Sit. Kevin, Joel, and Tristan have all been very attentive and treated our dog like their own. The business practices to ensure that not just our dog but our family understands the training has been exceptional.

The team at this location has done a great job with our 8 month old golden retriever. We went from pulling our hair out to feeling constantly listened to. Highly recommend for any puppy parents feeling out of their depths and on their last leg. Worth every penny!

Dog Pile Game at Saturday Class

Cannot express how grateful I am to Sit Means Sit for helping us with our dog Patches. Patches is a very challenging dog that had a lot of insecurities which made it hard for him to relax and caused a lot of anxiety. We did the 2 week Board and Train for him in April. The training made such a difference in him feeling more comfortable without being in control that he was able to not need anxiety medicine any longer. I can never thank Sit Means Sit trainers and community enough for helping us build a stronger bond with Patches. Today, Patches did something 6 months ago we thought would be impossible, he passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen test. Patches loves his Saturday classes. Cannot recommend this program enough!!

I met with several trainers before Brad & had little to no success in the areas we needed most, I was exhausted. Now for the first time ever, I can leave him home alone without the overwhelming anxiety and guilt that used to come with it. Our walks are actually enjoyable again, and I feel confident bringing him around friends and into new environments. What I appreciate most is that the training gave me the tools and confidence to understand and communicate with my dog better. I have my freedom back, and Cash is happier and more relaxed because of it. If you're struggling with separation anxiety, behavioral issues, or just want a better relationship with your dog, I can't recommend Brad enough. The impact has been life-changing.

My boyfriend and I took in our cattle dog, Ollie, as a stray almost 4 months ago. Quick background: Ollie was found tied to a fire hydrant outside my work. Ollie is the sweetest boy, however is very reactive to other dogs and is a bundle of energy that presents as endless jumping and nipping. We have a senior Saint Bernard at home in which Ollie has been too rough/aggressive with her, even when our Saint Bernard makes it known that she doesn't want to be bothered. We tried water sprays at home and other attempts at training to no avail. We began to feel helpless as our biggest concern was his relationship with our Saint Bernard, as it got to the point where we felt we had to consider rehoming him. During our session with Brad, we immediately saw results which had us dumbfounded. Like other reviews have mentioned, his technique is not "mean," but is a firm mindset that Ollie requires. All the while, Brad emphasizes when to correct your dog and when to praise him, while stressing the fact that these techniques are not made to scare your dog, but rather establish a leader mentality while simultaneously letting the dog know that you provide love and safety. Of course, like any training, one can only be successful when carrying over these learned techniques at home, but Brad left us feeling confident and ready to continue the work. Even when we got home today, we already had seen a shift from Ollie. As for Brad himself - he is very approachable and really looks to understand both the dog and all the circumstances that come with them. You could really get a sense of how personal he is. We definitely recommend him. Thank you so much, Brad!

The weekly training session was then followed by an hour of puppy playtime where all dogs can play and learn how to socialize with other dogs under the supervision of the instructors. My standard poodle puppy (Lexi, 9 weeks) was having a real rough time being alone in her crate or play pen. Cassie gave me some great pointers over the phone that made nighttime much easier. The HUGE difference came from our private session yesterday. I'm just over an hour, Cassie taught ME how to help Lexi know what she needs to do and make her comfortable doing them. The results were mind-blowing. Lexi took all of her naps peacefully in her pen or crate and SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT in her crate! I got a full night of uninterrupted sleep while my baby girl slept peacefully nearby in her crate. Wow, I am so grateful. I also want to recognize and thank Rebecca. She came and watched my little girl for a few hours so I could go to work. She was so good with Lexi and I loved the photos and updates! When I got home (after Rebecca had been gone about an hour), Lexi was chewing her bone peacefully in her pen. What more could a momma ask for? UPDATE: Lexi is now over a year and an AKC Canine Good Citizen, thanks to Cassie! We have completed puppy kindergarten, basic communication, and CGC classes with Cassie as well as had a few private sessions to work on things like counter surfing, accepting grooming, proper walking, separation, and a fear of certain types of people... Cassie is one of Lexi's very favorite humans and has been amazing at teaching me how to train Lexi. We're looking forward to continuing to work with Cassie down the road. We will be taking the Trick Dog class next time it is offered and working with her to get ready for therapy dog certification in a few years. What sets Vladae apart is that he doesn't just train dogs, he teaches owners how to build a lifelong relationship with them. Every lesson leaves us with practical tools, clear direction, and the confidence to continue the training every single day. Because of that, the progress doesn't stop when the session ends. Vladae has an incredible ability to understand dogs. Watching him read a dog's behavior, body language, and mindset is genuinely fascinating. He knows exactly how to communicate with each dog in a way they understand, and it's clear this comes from years of experience and a deep understanding of canine psychology. He's also one of the most invested professionals we've ever worked with. Throughout the week, he encourages us to send videos, provides thoughtful feedback almost immediately, and is always available to answer questions or jump on a call if we need guidance. You never feel like you're figuring things out on your own. He truly cares about both the dogs and the people raising them, and he always follows through. Every recommendation Vladae has made, whether it's training tools, techniques, or daily routines, has become an essential part of Coach's development. We trusted the process from day one, and the results truly speak for themselves. (See the videos! Coach is only 6.5 months old in them.) Our puppy is happy, confident, well-mannered, and genuinely loves learning. We receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go, and we owe so much of that to the foundation Vladae helped us build. We also had the opportunity to work with Erica, who trains alongside Vladae, and she was absolutely wonderful. One session with Erica is included in the program, and it was incredibly helpful. It's clear she shares the same passion, knowledge, and dedication that make this training program so special. Vladae brings unmatched energy, professionalism, and passion to every session. He genuinely wants every dog and every owner to succeed, and that level of commitment is incredibly rare to find. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and is committed to setting both you and your dog up for long-term success, I can't recommend Vladae highly enough. Coach has become an incredible puppy, and we're excited to continue into adult school because of the foundation he's helped us build. We're so grateful we found him!
