As a first time dog and first time Corgi owner, it was important to me that I train my dog well and correctly from puppyhood and they have helped me do just that. Corgis are smart but can be a bit stubborn, and Kathy and everyone has taught me how to handle my puppy with positive reinforcement but also being firm. Kathy also helps board my dog when I am out of town, and is flexible with me since I work long and unpredictable hours at a hospital. It's very difficult to find someone who responsibly vets and lets the right dog personalities mesh while playing, but she does exactly that. I never have to worry about my dog getting into trouble while I am gone. My dog is always in great hands with everyone here, and I would highly recommend Kathy and her staff to anyone looking for someone to help you board or train your dog.

From the very start, we could tell how much Amber cared about us and Striker. She took the time to come to our house and learn about Striker and listened to what we were hoping to get out of the training. We decided on doing a board and train with Amber and she did a fantastic job with Striker. Even during the board and train, Amber would send us updates on Striker's progress and pictures/videos of what they had been up to. Amber also continued to work with us privately in our follow up sessions and it's so easy to tell how knowledgeable and passionate she is about dogs. Amber is also very personable as a trainer and we always felt supported in our journey as first time dog owners. We are so grateful for Amber for all that she's done for us and Striker. The staff asked me to provide my complete credit card information to be manually entered into their computer, including the CVV security code on the back of the card. For security reasons, I declined. I then offered to pay with cash -- they refused. I asked to pay via POS card reader -- they said they don't have one. I offered to pay by check -- refused. PayPal -- also refused. I took my dog home and they said they would contact the owner to see if they could accept a check. Is this normal business practice for a pet grooming shop? I have never encountered anything like this. I was willing to pay and offered multiple payment methods, all of which were rejected. I am still waiting to hear back from the owner."
