    Mats left over on tummy

Took my dog to be groomed today they tell you it'll be one price then tack on an extra fee in the end..it was almost $150 to shave my dog and leave Matt's on his stomach

The Grooming department at the N Mckinney location has been horrible since the first time we brought her! NO communication after the grooming service and they do not provide all service I paid for! The grooming department doesn't seem to like my furbaby and it shows in how she is groomed and NOT taken care of and it's hurting my feelings. I have tried to give you all chances but I guess I need to take her somewhere expensive and where they will groom her correctly.

My mom and I took in our border collie to get washed and cut, and he looks (and smells) so much better! His fur is sleek and shiny. Ashley did an amazing job with him. A million times better than the other Petco off Custer and Eldorado!

Teeth on dog 1 that were not brushed.

Ridiculous! $90 for nothing when it comes to grooming. This is not the first time we've had this issue. We specifically tell them to do ONLY the $23 bath for our two dogs, they are short haired jack Russel/ chihuahua mixes. With the bath we ask that they also brush their teeth which is a $10 add on making it $33 each dog. Today (as well as last month) we asked them to do this exact thing as I've listed above. We were charged $23 each for the bath AS WELL AS $22 for THREE add on services, which we did not ask for. We ONLY asked for the bath and tooth brushing. In the $23 they are supposed to cut their nails and brush their fur, neither of these things were done. In the $22 add on, which we did not ask for, they said that they buffed nails, brushed teeth, and did the breath refresh. As you can see in the pictures it's obvious that teeth were not touched, they did not brush their fur. As far as the breath refresh, their breath still smells very bad if not worse than when we dropped them off. So we paid $90 for services that we not only didn't ask for but services that were clearly not done. Upon getting home, I also called corporate and spoke with Raymond who basically treated me as if it did not matter. He talked in circles and was tying to rush me off of the phone while I was speaking with him.

Terrible grooming experience. I brought my dog for a basic bath and brush because he smelled like vomit. He came back with the same smell.

I've never had an issue with training in my 40+ years on this earth & was so disheartened. Tame turned that around. I have the tools now & knowledge of some new tricks to help me & most importantly them. We were lucky enough to get paired with Riley who was so prompt with communication. We did the long program & he (and his team) went above and beyond to put our minds at ease. Even after we brought her home they still answer our random questions. I live in the Ft. We would highly recommend Tame and plan on using the boarding program going forward to reinforce the foundation they setup.

Cubli is an extremely fearful, reactive, resource-guarding Pekingese with a bite history. We had already worked with a behavioral veterinarian, tried medication, and worked with two highly qualified reward-based, fear-free trainers. Despite our best efforts, we simply weren't making progress. Aaron's approach is completely different, but that does NOT mean it's cruel. I would never allow that. Everything he did was calm, confident, and purposeful. He never yelled or tried to frighten Cubli. During our four-hour session, Cubli attacked him several times and even broke the skin on his arm. Aaron handled every situation calmly and safely, and by the end of the session Cubli was voluntarily walking up to him for attention. That alone spoke volumes to me. Even more amazing were the changes we saw in just one session. I was able to pet Cubli's head, something that had become incredibly difficult. Cubli also remained completely calm while someone used our guest bathroom, which previously would have triggered frantic barking and attempts to chase and bite. What impressed me most wasn't just the changes in Cubli, but how much Aaron taught James and me. We realized that many things we thought were perfectly normal were actually contributing to Cubli's emotional state. Aaron helped us understand how to communicate with our dog in a way that helps him feel safe instead of feeling responsible for controlling every situation. We know one session doesn't magically solve years of behavioral issues, and the real work now belongs to us. But for the first time since adopting Cubli, we genuinely feel hopeful. Aaron understood our dog in a way no one else had. Somewhat to my embarrassment, I actually started to cry as Aaron was leaving. That is very unlike me. It wasn't because I thought Cubli was "fixed." It was because, for the first time in a very long time, I truly felt he had a chance. If you have a fearful, reactive, aggressive, or resource-guarding dog and feel like you've run out of options, I can't recommend Aaron highly enough. He was worth every penny.

Cheryl is the best. Seriously. We heard about her from a friend and when we meet for our free…read moreevaluation I knew she was gonna be our trainer. We live in Lake Stevens which is out of her travel range so we met at McCollum park in Everett for our sessions. We have a 6 month old Whippet and the web is full of information about how Whippets are not motivated to be trained, can never be trusted off leash, no training collars (they have thin necks), are very sensitive, etc. After reading all this I was left bewildered. I had trained our previous dog (Lab) but I felt like nothing I knew before would work on this dog and I hadn't even started! Cheryl put my mind at ease. She felt that a balanced approach (a gentler training collar with lots of positive reinforcement) was the way to go and how a dog is trained and what it can and can't do is up to the individual dog and its owner. We signed up for her Silver package and met twice a week for 5 weeks. After our first lesson I was so pleased I could cry. Just that lesson taught Dobby not to pull which was his biggest issue. From there he learned sit, down, come, place, heel, stay, not to jump up on people and just how to generally pay attention to me more than his surroundings. Its tough for him as Sighthounds see everything and are intensely interested. But he's come so so far. Cheryl never lost her cool, never lost her patience and she had a solution for every issue that came up. I had to bring my 4 kids numerous times as we homeschool and she was never (visibly) annoyed, even though they were sometimes quite annoying :) We did end up using an electronic collar and our last few sessions involved working with him on that. He has begun work off leash using this collar. It also helps make corrections at home when he doesn't have a leash on and is far away. I would recommend using the e-collar option if it fits into your budget. Its been really nice. I can't recommend Cheryl highly enough. We really enjoyed our time with her and Duke and her impact on Dobby and us will last a very long time. She enabled us to have a well-behaved dog that we can take anywhere. That's priceless.
