I love bringing my dogs here... I have been coming here to get my dogs groomed by them for over two years, and I love how they smell and look when I pick them back up after their grooming. My dogs love them, too, as they always try to hurry in once they recognize the building. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They try to accommodate their customers to the best they can. One of my dogs recently started having dry skin/dandruff issues, so they even switched out the shampoo to use medicated one for her. They care about the pets that come to them to get groomed. I recently boarded my sweet, shy dog Nika at Twin Lakes Pet Resort for the first time, having recently moved to Texas. As someone who finds it very difficult to leave her pets, I was so pleasantly surprised and relieved at the care she received. I was immediately comforted by how happy she looked in the pictures sent to me daily. She was very happy and nicely groomed when I picked her up. The staff is awesome and the facility is very clean. We did not have a very good experience with grooming. My dog didn't even appear to have been brushed when I picked her up, one of her claws was actively bleeding, and the others didn't appear to be touched. I will pay more and go elsewhere next time. read more

My Great Dane mix was a previously abused rescue who wouldn't even come through the doors of any vet or groomer's- in fact, we had been turned away by other groomers because Myles was so uncooperative. This has been the BEST place we have ever taken him- they are like family to us now! Our first time in, Carrie saw me trying to drag him through the door and stopped me. She came out to the parking lot and sat on the concrete and let Myles check her out. She told me to come up once or twice a week just for a visit so that he could work through his anxiety. We did, and IT WORKED! Myles now LOVES the groomers here and we are so thankful that they took the time to invest in our dog! He is so much happier for it!! read more

I wish I could give zero stars or negative stars because I definitely would and they definitely deserve it. This is by far the worst grooming experience I've ever had in my life and my dog is 10 years old. So initially when I made the appointment, everyone seemed nice. However, when I got there initially, I was taken back because the place is so small and definitely looks nothing like a resort or spa. When I walked in there was like 10 young teenagers that work there, and several dogs. It definitely seems like they're overpopulated and do not have enough room for the excessive staff and the excessive dogs. I have a Yorky and he does get a little anxiety when he gets haircuts but I've never had anyone give me a bad report on him. So when I dropped him off, they seemed nice. They texted me maybe almost 2 hours later and they told me Bailey was ready for pick up. When I got there, they gave me the remainder of my bill due to I had already paid a $25 deposit a few weeks prior. They gave me another bill for almost 50 bucks. So I pay the bill and left a tip and then the lady proceeds to tell me that my dog was unruly and that she didn't even finish the haircut. She didn't even file his nails and she didn't do his head. So when they brought my dog out, he looked so upset and ready to go. So I immediately took my dog and left mainly because I honestly was getting claustrophobic with all the employees and all the dogs. After I left, I felt like I just been bamboozled. If they couldn't complete the haircut, why would they charge me full price? Also, they didn't even let me know that until after I have paid for everything. When I called back to ask for a supervisor, a young woman answered the phone, she sounded like a child. I asked for a supervisor and she said there isn't one. And I was like is she just not there or do you not have one? And she said there's not one so I said OK can you have someone who's in charge contact me regarding my experience there. So a lady named Brianna called me and left a message. I missed the call. But I called her back on Monday which she said she would be available that day per her message. Talked to Brianna on Monday. She told me that they never give refunds that all she could do was let me bring my dog back for someone else to cut him. I told her that was unacceptable because I do not want any other services from this establishment. She said she will have her manager contact me which her name is Denise. I said thank you. Shortly after that Denise contacted me. Denise was literally the rudest person I've ever spoke to not only at a groomers place but at any establishment period in life. Denise started screaming at the top of her lungs telling me my dog tried to attack them and bite them and I'm lucky that my dogs not being quarantined. I literally could not even finish a sentence because this lady was screaming at the top of her lungs. I advised her that if my dog was doing all of that ( which I know is a lie) they should have contacted me immediately and not have done anything. She was like what I'll do for you is I can give you a half refund and I'll just do it over the phone because I don't even want you to come back here. This lady kept screaming at me telling me that the groomer had been there 25 years and blah blah blah. I literally had to yell at the top of my lungs and say, are you ready to give me my refund? Are you ready for my card number? Because she wouldn't stop screaming, this lady literally was screaming like she had lost her mind. So they gave me a half a refund which I should've got a full refund because the experience was horrible. But they probably didn't want to give me a full refund because they look like they can barely even keep their lights on in the building looks like a shack. I would never take my dog there again and never put my dog through this trauma. I don't know what this lady did to my dog . I've never had anyone, tell me any bad comments about my adorable Yorky. So go there at your own risk! read more

Our dog is a Chiweenie with attitude and outside of our family, she doesn't care for most people, with the exception of the sweet ladies at Twin Lakes, whom she adores. My dog has anxiety almost everytime we get in the car. But when I tell her we are going to the beauty shop (that what we call it) she calms down. She is very comfortable with the ladies here. She enjoys going and I wouldn't take her anywhere else. read more

Absolutely love this place for my dog. When we first took him there, he wouldn't even walk through the doors, that's how much he hated groomers. The staff at Twin Lakes were friendly enough to come cut his nails in the parking lot. Since then we have brought our dog back several and they always show him a ton of love and give him lots of treats. Now, he loves this place. I can't imagine taking him anywhere else. So, I was looking for a good, reasonably priced Groomer for my new puppy. This place received good reviews on Nextdoor except for one. Now there are two. I called the company yesterday morning to set-up an appointment. I was quickly shutdown by the person who answered the line. She told me to "go to their website, click this link, and fill out the contact form with the information." She also specified that they needed "ALL the vet info, along with my puppy's shot records." I filled out all the info then received a response back that they couldn't do the grooming because my puppy did NOT get the lepto shot! WHAT THE HELL????? I was LIVID!!! I called the vet to see why this shot was NOT given to him when he was brought in, in September. I was told that the shot was OPTIONAL!!!!! So I called back to Twin Lakes, and went off on the woman who answered the phone. She started explaining that there was an outbreak in this area, how dogs get it, and that a tech that works there, contracted the infection! Wanted me to comeback once the shot had been given in a week or so! I told her, I was DONE AND ended the call!!!!! It will be a COLD DAY in HELL before I consider this place again and/or refer ANYONE to them! read more

I have been using Twin Lakes for over a year now, and couldn't be happier! I work in dog rescue and they take THE BEST care of the dogs I bring to them who are severely matted, scared, and in just terrible shape. It's simply amazing to see the before and after photos! Not only do they do superb grooming, but they go the extra mile in loving and caring for their canine clients. I use them as well for my personal dogs, and the groomers have always followed my instructions to a T. When you visit the salon, you see the groomers at work on their clients as the lobby is an open concept plan with the grooming tables set up right behind the counter. New to the area. Paid $65 and when I got home they didn't even cut my dogs face. His legs are choppy and there are log stands of hair coming through is toes.I tipped $10 before I had a chance to look at the cut. My granson was almost knocked over by another dog and was very upset. My dog is 10 years old and has been getting groomed since he was 10 months old.
