What is also nice is that they offer white glove delivery for $99 and can deliver next day if the mattress is in stock. Delivery process was easy and quick. We purchased a Casper bed through Sit and Sleep even though we could have gotten it cheaper with free shipping online because I appreciated the Salesperson's time spent with us and because we were told it was Sit and Sleep's agreement with Casper that they don't roll their mattresses but guess what came off the truck.... a mattress rolled up in a box. read more

Very happy with the service I received from Peter Jenkins. I ordered a bed on August 29 and was unhappy with it. I was advised there was a 30 day wait period to exchange as often times it can take that long to adjust to the new bed. In my case it did not work. Peter helped me find another mattress more suitable than the original one I purchased. The exchange process was very easy. Peter also help me order a new remote for an adjustable bed that I had purchased years before, and it was misplaced. As I was on a time crunch with a guest coming, he had it shipped right away. This store was fine, salesperson fine. But their delivery dept is *below* subpar. Zero communication to me throughout the day in which I was expecting my delivery that they confirmed with a 3-hr window the night before. I called multiple times throughout the day to inquire and they kept saying they would call me back as soon as they could secure a team to deliver it. That it was a "glitch in the system" somehow. Never had any of the 3 people I spoke to throughout the day call me back "later", hence my multiple calls I had to initiate to them. Sure enough right before I knew they were about to end for the night I called one last time and they said they can "guarantee" a delivery the next day. "Guarantee", huh? So the initial delivery agreement that was confirmed to me was just "suggested" or "tentative"? No offer of giving me any price break or benefit or rebate or coupon or nothing. "I can have our manager call you about that" is what I got when I had to go out of my way to speak on how this is very subpar business practice and a lack of compassion toward a customer. I came in recently with my 10 year old daughter to find her a new mattress. We had already been to another local mattress store that had a very limited selection and an unhelpful sales person. Once we walked into sit n sleep I could tell it would be a much better experience! It's a large bright showroom with many models of mattresses in different price points. I was able to order online, enjoy a sale on a QS mattress and low profile boxspring, communicate easily via their chat with a few questions I had and receive FREE white glove delivery service, the next day! I would say the sales and delivery part of getting my Tempurpedic mattress was very good but follow up customer service is NOT VERY GOOD. I had a problem needing a power cord replaced due it being damaged in my move. They told me they were checking with their warehouse and would call me back. I called several times and finally a different person tells me I need to contact Tempurpedic directly. I did/ left message. No response. I think it's wise for the customer to be happy throughout the entire sales cycle and after with any ensuing problems. Sit N Sleep doesn't seem to care after they sell their beds and mattresses. 2/18/21 Update- The part arrived today from Tempurpedic so this issue has been resolved. Thank you! read more

I'll be honest, I just couldn't take the creaking bed across the hall anymore. My youngest son had been sleeping on., a very loud, creaking full size mattress. His room is right across from my room, and it was getting older so I decided it was time to invest in a new one --for his sake and mine. The closest mattress place was "Sit 'n Sleep". So we headed that way. Upon entering, we were greeted by a nice salesman and told him what we were looking for. A comfy, quiet, Full size bed. There was no one else in the store, except a man who seemed to be his boss as he stayed only at his desk and didn't and didn't say hello. I would think that it would just be a natural thing to do-say hello? Anyway, we stayed mostly in the front and that is where the "cheaper" beds were. By "cheaper" I mean mattresses under $500.00. I would estimate there were about 5-8 beds there. All looked nice. The rest of the warehouse was filled with many, many beds all above $600-$5000.00 or more! I know this because after my son picked out his bed, he roamed around the store and later, he later down on the fancier beds "just to see how they were". I was paying and also discussing delivery options. I will give BIG props to Sit 'n Sleep for this: I was told that delivery would be $45.00 and that when they drop off our new mattress...they will take my old one for free! Ok-that is great! No worrying about scheduling a "bulky item pick up" with the trash company, I will say, I truly appreciated that a lot. No one wants to see a mattress outside their home. Neighbors don't like it. No one does. I paid for my sons new mattress and I was told delivery could happen the next day! Ok, another nice feature. I do wish they had more options for less expensive beds...but my son liked his choice so that's all that really matters. I am hoping all goes well with delivery tomorrow and the removal of the old mattress. I'm sure it will and want to say this was a quick, easy purchase with a nice salesman. I have always had an Aireloom mattress... my house burned down in the fire and I was so looking forward to having a good night sleep; In fact it was the largest purchase I made after the fire $4k+. The mattress was delivered in poor condition, sagging on one side, bad craftsmanship. I notified them immediately with photos and NO RESPONSE. Bad customer service from Sit 'n Sleep? Honestly I see why they have 5 stars. My husband and I went here a few weeks ago and spoke with Freddy. We were dealing with a very sad situation with a mattress we had purchased long time ago. We had bought a water bed. Well things didn't go so well for us. The water bed was unable to accommodate our bodies correctly after we set it up. We are super bummed. So we went to sit n sleep to try their bed match technology. I kept hearing about it on the Woody Show. Finally tried it out. Learned what type could work for both of us. Laid down on many mattresses and Freddy was kind and patient. Finally we had to look at the high end mattress because nothing was feeling just right. We laid down uh oh! It was perfect. Freddy promised he'd do all he could to give us a killer deal. We had to sleep on the thoughts for a bit. We let him know we had to figure things out. Finally went back yesterday to lay down one more time on it. We were both in pain in our backs and he had a headache. We both felt better after laying on it. Hmmmm I think it's the one. Went today. Went in to buy another new mattress two weeks ago. Had purchased two previous top-of-the-line mattresses with no problems. Came in to buy myself a new mattress, replacing the one I'd bought from them 15 years ago, and ended up being charged more than $2,000.00 over the manufacturers price for the mattress. When Freddy, the manager, told me that my new mattress was going to cost nearly $8,000.00, I nearly fell of my chair! Suddenly, he could take $500 off, since it was my birthday, and he would not charge me for the $500 mattress cover he'd upsold me on. I bought the mattress, a Beautyrest Black Medium firm in Cal-King size, and it was delivered a few days later. However, I knew the mattress was wrong when I sat on it, so I went back out to the truck and asked to see the invoice, but they didn't have one. So I asked them to cut out the piece from the mattress box that had the contents label on it, and it was indeed the wrong mattress: FIRM. Not only that, but it was not the latest Beautyrest Black Mattress that I thought I was getting, but one from years ago that was discontinued. I could've bought the same mattress directly from the manufacturer for thousands less! When I went back to the store the next morning, the sales associate there basically said, "too bad" when I told him that I ordered Medium and received Firm, and said to "pick a different mattress then". But later, when the assistant manager came in, he took over and resolved the issue by refunding me the cost difference between their price and the manufactures price, and refunded me for the cover I'd be conned into paying for. I purchased the new mattress since I am having a total hip replacement in three days and I need more support and padding. They assured me I'd have the new, correct mattress by this time, but they have screwed up the delivery three times already and I still don't have a mattress I can sleep on, as the one I'm currently stuck with is like sleeping on a futon! Very uncomfortable, especially for a side sleeper in a lot of pain. Tried to get the mattress delivered a third time, they promised the following day, between 7am and noon, and then I received a text message that night, at 8:30 pm, saying that my mattress would be delivered the next day (yesterday) between 2-5pm, when I will not be home due to my numerous doctor's appointments this week prior to Monday morning's 6am surgery. So, I had my son stay at home all day to wait for the bed, and no one showed up. Unf-ing believable. I just called the delivery department again, no help, no care, put on hold for 15 minutes and then someone new picked up the phone and I had to start again. Was put on hold again, and then told that they are "trying to get your bed delivered today". I asked what time, and they just said, "We don't know. We'll call when we find out". Right...I won't hold my breath. So now I have to go back to the store, demand a refund, and find a mattress store that can deliver me a new bed by the end of the day tomorrow.
