It was challenging to make an informed decision however, when Michael told us that the mattresses were refundable and could be returned within 30 days if for some reason it wasn't what we had in mind, that seemed like a good selling point. To us it seemed it very clear that we could exchange the mattress with ease. Fast forward, after a week I felt the mattress was too firm, felt as thought I was sleeping on the floor. I called the store and Michael told me the mattress will loosen up in time, it would be helpful to have our grandkids come over and jump on the mattress. Really? He then went on to tell me, ' Well, you liked it in the store ' . He also said much to our surprise that there was restocking fee which is 15% of the cost of the mattress. That's was news to me as well as to my hubby. Michael went on to say it was written on the back of my receipt. Maybe so I told him, however, it wasn't mentioned at the time. The only thing he had stressed to us was the ease of their return policy. Had we known about the restocking fee, we would have taken more time in making our choice. Neither my hubby nor myself heard about any restocking fee while we were there, that's for sure. So if you chose to shop here, make sure you get ALL the details about their return policy. Not happy about the way this transaction was handled and for that reason do not recommend The Sleep Shoppe.

All that changed when we decided to limit our shopping for beds to The Sleep Shoppe. First of all, the place is literally a sea of beds. They are there for you to try out. They all have pillows. The sales people are knowledgeable and patient. Even with kids bouncing on beds in the background. Or, to be accurate, bouncing from bed to bed to bed. Having the sea of mattresses allows you to figure out what is really comfortable for you, physically and financially. The difference between a $1,200 and $5,200 bed seems like it should be vast, but it's really not, at least in the showroom. Maybe once you get it home. Anyway, all of the beds in our house are from The Sleep Shoppe. We are happy and returning customers!

The receptionist said "that part of the company was sold back in 2023, and later changed the date to 2020, but didn't know who owns it now - perhaps Amazon". He said he'd give the info to "higher ups" and someone would get back to me. Three more phone calls with no reply, I said I would begin filing a complaint with ftc and leaving reviews on Social Media - suprisingly, I received a call from Rick Swartzburg that evening. After numerous emails back and forth where he made several comments hinting that while he'd never seen that kind of damage to a mattress in 20 years, perhaps I caused the damage. After he saw photos of the mattress, he said via email that even though "it isn't his warranty to act on", he will replace the top piece of foam - that may have factory blemishes - and I must pay $79 for shipping.

We had a spot for our couch that needed to be measured perfectly and also had very specific colors, pillows and comfort level that we wanted. Also, rarely do my husband and I agree, but John managed to find the perfect couch for both of us. When it arrived, it was indeed perfect and we love it so much. I had a Newport Brass faucet that had an issue and was covered under their warranty. I was told to call Newport Brass. After contacting both WDC and Newport, it seemed like a simple process: WDC had to simply fill out some paperwork and Newport would ship me a new faucet. I was following up with WDC monthly to check on the status and was obviously lied to every time--working on it, it's on back order, my customer service team and I are handling it, it should be in next month, I'm not sure what's going on, etc.. My last exchange with WDC was on 12/14/25. Newport Brass says this isn't a big deal and they do this all the time, essentially blaming WDC for not following through with simple paperwork. It has been almost a year, I still don't have a faucet, and I've heard nothing from WDC in 4 months.

Dr. Rick took the time to evaluate my back condition and shared his expert advice on what type of support would be best for me. I truly appreciate having a professional opinion rather than just picking a mattress based on feel alone. We ultimately chose the Back Science mattress, specifically Series 2, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've struggled with back issues for a long time, and after about three weeks of using this mattress, I noticed a significant improvement in my arthritis symptoms. I just ordered a new mattress from Ultrabed. Luna, the sales rep, was patient and knowledgeable. I am confident that if this mattress does not work out, that I will be able to return and replace it with something that does work. Even if I end up with a less expensive mattress, they will refund the difference. Who does that? Obviously, Ultrabed does! We purchased a bed about 6 months ago as my wife and I both have back problems. We went with one of their beds and we couldn't be happier! The staff recommended the perfect bed that was perfect for the both of us. After a few weeks, we noticed a big difference in our sleep and after six months the bed is in great shape and we are both still getting great sleep. I am unable to purchase "run of the mill" mattresses due to anaphylaxis from latex and asthmatic reactions to VOC off-gassing. Due to the aforementioned issues, I opted to visit Sharon. My husband and I decided on the Naturepedic Chorus mattress. This was in April of 2021. Fast forward to August 2025. The mattress had weird sagging and was hurting my back. It came with a 20 year warranty through Naturepedic, so I opened a claim with them...and I'm sorry I did. I wish I would've gone straight to Sharon but I made an assumption because the warranty is under the company, not the authorized retailer. Naturepedic was awful to deal with but Sharon more than made up for that by having a new replacement mattress delivered, set up, and took receipt of the prior mattress. The products sold by Snoozzz are truly high quality, safer for the chemical sensitive population, and the pricing is in line with the quality. At the end of the day it's impossible to put a price tag on your health. My husband and I are loyal to Snoozzz and won't go anywhere else. Thank you Sharon!

Nothing that has gone wrong is the fault of Poly and Bark, and yet they have been the only ones in this process who have done everything in their power to make it right. Jessica has given up part of her weekends and evenings in an effort to make sure I get the highest quality white glove delivery. There is a three hours time difference as I am in Seattle. So often Jessica has been in communication with me at 10 or 11pm her time. She made sure my replacement couch was inspected a second time and insisted on a lot of quality assurance from the delivery company. I highly recommend Poky and Bark because honestly it's the most comfortable sofa I've ever had. I got the Zyon with the extra wide chaise and it's been the best nap spot of my life. And my cats favorite new place to cuddle. In sum, the furniture is great quality, the customer service has been excellent and only the delivery experience has been rough, due to no fault of Poly and Bark. My experience is an outlier.
