Sit' n sleep is the worst place you can think of to purchase a new bed. The experience is horrible with the sales rep just pushing any beds that cost Larry a dime and they mark up thousands of dollars. Cheap beds that they say are high quality and then did the research and they are not. I spent thousands of dollars at this place only to make my body feel worse in the morning. Eddie is absolutely awesome! My husband and I purchased a bed a few years ago from Eddie when he was at the West Covina store. When it was time to upgrade from a queen to a king, we found him at the Upland branch. He remembered the type of bed we purchased the last time, and he showed us the updated model of the bed we currently had, in a king size. He recommended going firmer because of my husband's back problems, which also matched the recommendation of the in-store mattress machine tester "thingy." Eddie gave us an unbeatable deal and we ordered the iComfort king mattress (two twins) with adjustable bases, and wireless remotes. Delivery was smooth and quick. After a few weeks, the bed seemed a little too firm, so my hubby and I checked in with Eddie. He facilitated the mattress exchange (ordered the next firmness level down) with ease, and experienced another swift and hassle-free delivery. My wife and I were in desperate need of a new mattress. After watching the commercials for Sit'n Sleep I told wife let's check it out. We walked in yesterday without high expectations due to our low credit score. The store manager, Kent Siria greated us and gave us a quick rundown while he was helping another costumer and told us he would be right with us. As soon as he was done, he gave us his full attention. I asked if it was true about the commercial where it said they would help people with low credit scores. He said definitely yes. We got approved right there and then for $1500. We had picked a matress that was a bit over our budget and realized it was not doable for us at this time. So, we went back in today and spoke with Kent and explained our situation. We found another matress that was in our budget and he worked his magic and was still able to get us everything we wanted for exactly the amount we were approved for. Kent is absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I have been sleeping on a twin bed for months now and we were both fed up and needed help. We saw the good reviews for this location and headed over. We were warmly greeted by Kent as if we were family. He set us up on this machine to show us what kind of bed we needed specifically based on our bodies, it's awesome because you know you're getting the kind of bed you need (not what you think you need) and you don't waste time looking at beds that aren't a match. DO NOT GO TO SIT AND SLEEP. I bought a mattress for $3100. It started to fall apart after 9 months. I contacted Sit and Sleep and they told me to contact the MFG. I did, they came and inspected my mattress and said it was falling apart from improper storage. Since I had been using it since they day it was delivered I called Sit and Sleep and gave them the information the MFG gave me. They basically told me to take a walk. They could care less. I even contacted Sit and Sleep's corporate offices and they did not care either. A $3100 dollar mattress should not fall apart after 9 months. Don't go there, EVER!!!!! Their customer service is atrocious. Plus they are rude!!!! I had to buy a new mattress because i began to wake up with back pain and numb legs. I went to Sit and Sleeps competitor, Banner. My wife and I went in to buy a new queen size bed. We told the saleman we didn't need it right away. He didn't have our bed in stock at his store. He had both pieces from another store. We had them deliver BOTH pieces when they arrived. When the guy came to deliver our bed and box spring he didn't have box spring with him. Of course. They say they will call before they come to verify order...NOPE. Because if they did I would have said don't come over if you don't have BOTH pieces. The right hand doesn't talk to the left hand with these people. Very challenging to get money back too. We paid by check. They cashed check and I got my money back in 30 days! My bed is great! My wife and I were thinking about buying a new bed but were dreading the prospect. We figured it'd be like buying a car: high-pressure sales job, underhanded trickery, expensive financially AND emotionally, and it would take 17 hours from start to finish. I was thinking I'd rather scrape the back of my thighs with a cheese grater than suffer through that! But we decided to be brave because my wife has fyrbromyalgia, and if we could just get her to be able to sleep with less pain, it would be worth the pain of buying a new bed. So out we went. Our first stop was at Sit and Sleep in Upland. We're still not sure why it's got the word "Sit" in the title because they sell only things you lie down on. Shouldn't it be called "Lie and Sleep"? Or "Rest and Sleep"? But I digress. We were immediately greeted by Lori, the store manager. Her easy-going, unrushed, casual manner was not what we were expecting at all, but we liked it. Then when she told us the first step in buying a new bed was to take their Bed Match test and that it would eliminate 89% of the beds in the place, our anxiety dropped even lower. The Bed Match exam is genius: after Lori asked us some questions about our our age, health issues, and sex life (just kidding about the sex life), we laid on a bed while our bodies were scanned for what type of mattress would be best for us. Turns out we both came out needing the softest mattress available (me and my wife that is, not me and Lori). So the Bed Match exam took 3 minutes, and the rest of the time searching for a bed took 2 hours. But not in a bad way! It took 2 hours because Lori was so patient with us. She let us lie on any bed we wanted, answered our billion questions, and sometimes she would even disappear for 10-15 minutes so we could talk and think without feeling like we were under pressure. She educated us on what different warranties covered and what they did not cover, what sort of issues we'd have to deal directly with the manufacturer and what issues we could talk to her about, if there were any. And she was funny! At one point I had to tell her to stop being funnier than me or else I was gonna fling myself down on a mattress face-first and kick my legs and pound my fists tantrum style. So we found a mattress and bed frame we liked, Lori cut us some deals using her Managerial Super Powers, and they're gonna deliver our new bed and haul away our old one this Friday. Bam! Like that! If you're looking for a new bed, I highly recommend Sit and Sleep in Upland. You'll get exactly the bed you need, you'll feel good about the whole process, and you'll get an education on sleep systems you didn't know existed. Finally decided to break down and get a NEW mattress, for me it's always been a hand me down mattress and decided to bite the bullet and get quality, My wife and I were greeted by Ralph Lao and were whisked to a machine that actually took measurements of the pressure points of our bodies. From there we were able to dial in what bed was appropriate for my wife and I. Pretty neat technology. From there we were taken to the best bed (Out of my price range), but as with ANY place you go, we explained to Ralph what we were looking to spend and he was able to get us into a bed at a better price than we were expecting to spend. I would go to this place again in the future. I give it four stars because it really must be exceptional to me for five. read more

I visited the store with an idea of what I already wanted but I wanted to make sure I was making the best decision so I wanted to try everything. I was there for probably 2 hours and Josh was so patient with me. He was very knowledgeable and really listened. He wasn't pushy or pressuring me to make a sale which I really appreciated. I ended up purchasing a tempur-pedic with an adjustable base and it was the best and literally most comfortable decision lol (I LOVE my new mattress!). This place was awesome. They have a computer hooked up to a bed that reads your stress points and then they are able to recommend a bed suitable for your body type. This store is fantastic. We purchased our bed on Memorial Day back in May from Eric. He was very patient and helpful. Not pushy at all. After a few months the sheets we purchased started to become rough. I went into the store yesterday and spoke with Lori the store manager. The sales person at this store was very nice (Eddie, the sales manager, was amazing), but we have had so many issues with the product and delivery. The mattress was delivered to us, but with stains. We had to wait a week for a new one to be delivered. Then when they brought the new one, the delivery guys removed the $200+ mattress protection cover/encasement we bought and stepped on it on their way out to remove the stained mattress. So when they covered the new one, it was covered in footsteps. Next, we purchased 2 $150 pillows and when I opened them one was just fine, brand new. The other was very clearly used and worn. I am extremely disappointed in the experience. My husband and I were so excited for this purchase, but it turned into a huge headache. Went in this past week looking for a new Cal King Split with power base. Salesman was approaching, and was cut off by store manager, Eddie. Eddie then proceeded to 'help.' Never offered to use their 'new technology' to determine my best comfort level. Showed only 5 mattresses, prices quoted in air - vaguely. When I asked him to write down the complete price for a particular one, he gave me his business card with name of mattress...? When I mentioned that I would need to come back to retry the mattresses, he simply walked away. Didn't seem to take me seriously - because I was a woman? Not a problem.
