It's one thing to deny the connection to KC Dawgs (although it's mentioned on the Precision website...), it's another to try and sweep that together with the primary events described in the review. The incident with my dog happened; it was shrouded with ambiguity & surface level detail, and my questions via email largely unanswered. Precision was eager to move on with as little information exchange as possible--up until I posted my original review on Google--where they presumably flagged it or otherwise pulled levers to have it removed.

He was my 10th adoption and we had never needed outside training before. I was in tears when I came to Keaton and Mike, worried I would not ever know how to control my new adoption. Roscoe had daily fights with my other dogs, tried to attack my husband, we couldn't enter a room without his reactions. Keaton worked with us 1:1 for 12 weeks. I then did a board and train with Precision. Roscoe graduated early for good behavior. Keaton and Mike tailored the program to our needs and our goals with our dog. Roscoe is now a great companion at home. We have systems in place to create a successful environment for him. I joined the weekly training class, and we continued our learning. It was as much for me as it was for him. Roscoe even behaved well enough he was able to take the agility class, too. When we travel, Roscoe is always boarded with Precision because they know his breed, his temperament and I know both trainers and dogs are safe there. I am able to travel and not worry. Roscoe has always been comfortable when I drop him off and trots off with a trainer without issues.

Beyond the Dog uses only humane techniques that have been approved by animal behavior organizations. We were not sure what to expect from a trainer but we desperately needed help with our two smallest dogs. We had trouble with barking, reactivity, and aggression so we signed up for the executive program. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Our trainer Ally changed our lives! She made a wonderful connection with both dogs. They hate when people come over and have never felt comfortable around anyone but us but you should see them when Ally arrives! They completely love her. She has worked with them on not barking, going to their place when people arrive and staying there, and walking next to us calmly outside. My family keeps commenting on what different dogs they are now. We are all so much calmer and happier! Word to the wise, you as an owner also have to be involved. Once the program was over we had to keep up the work in order to maintain all the progress she made.

I again requested picture updates which I was told they would send some, however I never received any during my dogs week long stay. My dog also came home with multiple scabs on all 4 legs and hot spots on his paws and between his back legs. I have boarded my dog at multiple kennels/doggy daycare and he has not come home with these type of scabs and hot spots before which I know can be from stress. The price was the best I had found and convenient location for living south of Olathe which were the positives of his stay.

I am heartbroken by the decline and know that many of my local friends have also expressed concern over it. All the staff who used to work there left soon after the new management took over a few years back. It's become so much worse recently in my opinion, especially the last couple of times I've boarded my dog. First off, you are blasted by a strong urine smell when walking in the front door, which it never had before. After that, I was told by the front desk attendant that my dog peed her bed the night before. She then brought me all of her stuff, including the soaked pee filled bed in a trash bag that reeked 1. My dog has NEVER peed on anything in the house, for the 10 years I've had her, no matter how long I've left her. NEVER, not even after 12 hours! 2. It definitely smelled like more than one accident the night before. I asked the front desk attendant what happened with her the rest of the time and was told curtly that she guessed it was fine since she had no other notes on her. She also said that she only handled the front desk and never offered to get anyone to talk to me about it, even after I said that she had never peed on anything in the house, ever. I regret not asking her to get anyone else, but wanted to get myself and my dog out of there ASAP as the smell was only getting worse. Finally, she brought out my 11 year old pitbull-boxer mix who looked really unhappy. She just seemed like a different dog the rest of the evening and through the next couple of days. Not the normal, so exhausted she only wants to sleep, but more like she was not happy. I noticed when I unpacked her belongings that they didn't follow all of the instructions by what was sent back home. She didn't get her lunches most days or her bedtime snack every day I was gone. The longer I've been away from the situation, the more frustrated I've become wondering what happened to my poor girl while I was out of town. I will NEVER be bringing my dog back to Pooches Paradise! I also know quite a few neighborhood friends who have also stopped using Pooches Paradise in the last couple of years. Sadly not the place it used to be.

We started out as a complex case due to Bernie's reactivity towards other people, a variety of objects (mainly those with wheels), hyperactivity, etc. We learned how to keep Bernie under his threshold so he gets to practice good behavior as much as possible. We went through his Babies Don't Bark course and Bernie is now the best older brother to my one month old! I never would have imagined Bernie would be walking next to a stroller or staying calm by lying off to the side when people/dogs pass by but sure enough he's doing it...still with lots of cheese to motivate him :-) Mike helped us get anxiety meds started, which has made a big difference, and has normalized wearing a muzzle! I won't sugar coat the amount of work and patience it takes to keep up on training but it's been worth it. Mike is so responsive in emails (within hours of asking a question) and has lots of YouTube videos and books to help owners. Training a dog is a life long experience! Last year I felt overwhelmed but now I have a better understanding of how to help Bernie in different situations so I feel in control. It seems like a lot of extra charges now and one of my dogs got hurt there. I know it was an accident because I witnessed her jump up on the park bench in the front waiting area and her leg went through it because there was no cushion on the bench. I ended up having to pay $200 for my vet to look at it and do x rays. Luckily it wasn't broken, but I feel like a simple precaution could have prevented it. Whenever I would pick up my dogs lately, they would be so nervous and acted like the couldn't wait to get out of there. I'm wondering what is going on there that I don't know about. They would also reek when I got them back, so I doubt there is very much cleaning going on there. I really hope they can improve.

She's never had anything like this happen before in 2 years. She is seeing a vet soon today is Tuesday 10/22. I asked for 3 days for an update on my foster dogs whom boarded here and once I did get an update it was snarky from Christy the owner (text below) . I've used boarding facilities before & the facility has always been kind and happy to provide an update every couple days & they are very busy facilities as well. When I picked them up besides Lunas allergy medication nothing was removed from their bags as indicated at drop off, their treat balls for their kennels were still full with the same treats and none from the treat bag had been used. At pick up I was handed both wild excited to see me dogs at the same time & they are both very strong dogs, & before I could get spun around with their leashes thinking I would be provided an update Christy had went back into the office. No greeting of hello, goodbye, zilch. There are many boarding facility's to choose from just do your homework before choosing one especially if you need to leave town for 10 days as I did. Dogs seemed fine at pick up overall. This was the 2nd time they've boarded here (my fosters) and my experience prior was similar retaining to communication. I'm out of town for Christmas from 12/24-12/26 and found another wonderful place in lees summit to board my own dogs & fosters. Thank you Suzanne

Not only was our dog well cared for, but Benny intentionally worked on socialization and helped build his confidence while he was boarded. We could tell our dog felt safe, understood, and supported the entire time. The progress we saw afterward was incredibly reassuring. Benny is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about each dog as an individual. If you're looking for someone you can trust--especially with an anxious dog--I cannot recommend Noble Dog Training enough. Five stars without hesitation
