I interviewed several dog trainers and Sit Now Stay is the best by far. It started with the free consultation with Brianne. We felt so comfortable and confident with their philosophy and training methods. The training provided the building blocks for the puppies and for us. All the trainers were wonderful. Scout and Skylar worked a lot with Sierra and Laura. We received daily report cards, pictures and videos which helped us stay connected and watch their progress. We were able to visit and see their progress too! Sierra was patient and kind with our lesson to go home. Plus when we called with questions. We highly recommend Sit Now Stay. You will not be disappointed.

We gave our puppy a bath before going in and he came back smelling AWFUL. Even when we got him at the shelter he didn't smell that bad. So I have no idea how clean their facility actually is because he absolutely stunk every single time he came back from here. They did not work on the biting and did not give us a daily report card. It was a "trust me bruh" but they gave no explanation of what they had worked on whatsoever. When we asked the owner why they were not following through with the agreement made when we hired them, she tried pinning my husband and I against each other gaslighting us saying we didn't communicate together. Her exact quote was "it seems like you and your husband aren't communicating very well". Absolutely crossing the line. . Not only is that completely unprofessional as an owner to question a customer's marriage but to flat out lie is unacceptable. The owner is completely out of line and a scammer. They gave us zero information on what they worked on with our puppy and no report cards. We have no idea what he did all day while in their care. The report card we were told before hiring them would be DAILY. We got Monday's. Tuesday we didn't get one so on Wednesday I mentioned it to the morning staff. He stated they were down a trainer so we would get both today (wednesday). My husband mentioned it to the evening staff at pickup and was told the same thing but stated the delay was due to a sick trainer. Thursday morning we still haven't gotten a report card and haven't been told anything about what has been worked on. The owner tried lying stating they always had told us that we wouldn't be getting daily updates when that is a flat out lie. We had a call with the owner before hiring them where she stated we would be getting daily updates and SHE told us the class she thought would be best based on our goal. I can't stress enough how much of a liar this owner is and now she's trying to twist the narrative. We did not expect perfection we made it very clear we know he's a puppy. However, we have not been told a single thing of what they worked on with our dog. Nor has the biting even slightly gotten better. This was supposed to be a longer course, so the owner falsely framing this as if we expected a magical difference in three days is not only misleading but it is another lie. A complete waste of time and money. Do not recommend. They will tell you what you want to hear then change everything after you pay

Having the flexibility to do in home sessions and Zoom calls really aided in getting our dogs the amount of training they needed in an environment they were comfortable with. Pricing was very reasonable for the great results we received out of our sessions. She is very knowledgeable, kind, understanding, and patient. She took our wallflower of a pup to a dog that can be social with guests, and our out going over stimulated pup to a confident dog that can relax during social gathering now. I couldn't recommend a better behavioral training!

Karen has a deep understanding of dog behavior, and she has a full toolkit of tips, tricks and techniques to help owners learn how to be an advocate for their dog, and how to work with and shape the behaviors of their dogs in ways that causes minimal stress to the dog while maximizing the results. Whenever we'd describe a behavior to Karen, she could quickly analyze and explain what was going on in Magnus' head. Furthermore, she would instruct us on exactly how to handle the situation in great detail, and she would follow this up with drills to ingrain the right reaction by the owner with very close attention to the fundamentals of dog-to-human communication: voice inflection, pitch and tone; body language, movement, hand placement, grip; cues to reward and commands to help enact a particular behavior. Karen even has an unending offering of tips and tricks to wear your pup out, redirect its attention, etc., even how to teach your furry friend how to disentangle itself from its leash - she taught Magnus in less than five minutes, which was pretty incredible! We think Karen is a first-rate, extraordinary dog trainer, dog handler, dog psychologist, and owner trainer, too! :) If you're in need of some help with your doggy, we highly, highly recommend Karen to you.

We started out as a complex case due to Bernie's reactivity towards other people, a variety of objects (mainly those with wheels), hyperactivity, etc. We learned how to keep Bernie under his threshold so he gets to practice good behavior as much as possible. We went through his Babies Don't Bark course and Bernie is now the best older brother to my one month old! I never would have imagined Bernie would be walking next to a stroller or staying calm by lying off to the side when people/dogs pass by but sure enough he's doing it...still with lots of cheese to motivate him :-) Mike helped us get anxiety meds started, which has made a big difference, and has normalized wearing a muzzle! I won't sugar coat the amount of work and patience it takes to keep up on training but it's been worth it. Mike is so responsive in emails (within hours of asking a question) and has lots of YouTube videos and books to help owners. Training a dog is a life long experience! Last year I felt overwhelmed but now I have a better understanding of how to help Bernie in different situations so I feel in control. Special shout-out to Angela for being so helpful with scheduling! Thank you!!

I walked in about 1pm on Saturday 7-11, and there was a 16 or 17 year old girl behind the counter. No one else in sight. She was on her phone and I walked up to the counter and stood there for at least 30-40 seconds before she bothered to look up. When she finally spoke she said "yeah, who are you here for." I said I had come in to get information and she just stared at me. I said " is this what you call customer service?" She just said "sorry" and literally check her phone again in front of me. I would NEVER trust my beloved dogs with a person like this - and no one else was within sight the whole time. How could I trust this place? Taking her anywhere is a terrifying experience because we don't know how she will react and if she will spend the next few days avoiding us or refusing to eat. We decided we want to start taking her to daycare occasionally to try to help with her comfort level when we aren't around, especially if we ever have to board her for a weekend. When we brought her to Dogtopia for her interview she was instantly comfortable because of the staff knowing how to handle anxious dogs. We were able to watch on the cameras as she was introduced to the other dogs in the Gym. As we expected, she watched from the perimeter as other dogs played. (Having the cameras is the best, I'm so thankful Dogtopia has them to ease my worrying mind). Her first full day, she started off watching the other dogs, mostly hanging by the human in the room but still running away from the human if she ever tried to pet her. Toward the end of the day she started thinking about playing with other dogs, as she would walk up to them but then immediately run away if they reacted to her being there. The next time we sent her, she actually played with some of the other dogs. Any time the dogs got a little rough, the human would break them apart quickly. Now, after a few weeks of sending her to Dogtopia, we have a completely different dog. She is so much more confident and we have had no issues with her not eating her food due to anxiety. She seems so happy when we pick her up at the end of the day. If we ever go anywhere and have to board her, I won't send her anywhere else. Taking her to Dogtopia has been the best decision we have ever made and I have been spreading the word like wildfire to friends and coworkers. Not only are their prices great and facilities clean, the staff is incredible and well-trained to know how to care for all types of dogs with all types of personalities. Thank you, Dogtopia!!
