The lady was so nice, her name is Miss Cohen she is one of the optometrist here at the eye place. I had my eyes checked and my eyes actually went from an eight to a six; which I guess is an improvement from my current standards. I picked out three pairs of glasses. One for work, one for play, and a new pair of sunglasses. I've never heard of the Costa brand of sunglasses - what I really liked is one of the male eye employees told me that the nose pads get sticky when you sweat so they don't slip off your face which I loved because I work outside currently. I honestly can't wait till I have my next eye exam in a year everyone was so nice and if you're around the area or you live in the area and you're looking for a new optometrist I definitely recommend the eye place! 10/10

This time around, I added the digital retina scans because I experienced sudden floaters recently. Dr. Claiboine reviewed the images with me in detail and at this time, it is not something I need to worry about which brought me much comfort. We did my usual contact lens and glasses exam. After getting the trial contacts in, you are free to leave or you can check out the wide array of glasses they have to offer. Otherwise, you can get a copy of the prescription to buy it elsewhere. Either way, I like that there are no high pressure sales tactics.

My husband ordered sunglasses and the lenses were a shade too light. He didn't want to cause any issues so he just kept it. Mohammad was helping another customer during this pick up time. He noticed that my husband didn't like the lenses but we left with the sunglasses anyways. 1 week later my husband got a call telling him to come back to the clinic because Mohammad ordered the darker lenses and said he could swap them out free of charge. Yet when I arrived, they couldn't find my insurance in their system. After unnecessary back-and-forth, they eventually located it -- something that should have been handled before I walked in the door. It only got worse from there. Once they realized I needed a full eye evaluation and assessment of my scleral lenses, they informed me I had been scheduled with the wrong doctor. My options were to either wait another hour or reschedule entirely. Since I had already driven an hour each way, I agreed to wait. Then I was told the doctor only spends 20 minutes per patient -- and that if I actually needed scleral lens fitting or proper evaluation, I would have to come back on another day. At that point it became very clear: their priority was protecting the doctor's schedule, not providing patient-centered care. There was zero ownership of the scheduling mistake, zero attempt to accommodate the situation meaningfully, and no concern for the fact that I had invested two hours of driving time. Healthcare is supposed to be about patients. Instead, I felt like an inconvenience to their calendar. This was a complete waste of my time. If you value efficiency, professionalism, and being treated like a patient rather than a scheduling problem, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

She asked pertinent questions, and did everything she could to keep me as comfortable as possible. She performed a few tests, and was patient and caring in doing so, as I was very uncomfortable. She was able to resolve my concern, and went to get the doctor to complete my exam. Shortly after, Dr. Nowell came in and completed the exam. He was also very kind, and he confirmed that there were no additional concerns. Overall, I was so appreciative of my experience with this office. The doctor and his staff were compassionate and kind, and they performed a thorough exam that I was relieved about when we left. I will gladly return to this office for future routine exams, and would recommend them to family and friends. If you are looking for an eye care provider in the area, consider this office!

I had to call them back. I booked a same day appt when I was in the neighborhood. When I got there, I was told my appointment didn't go through.
