They took excellent care of my puppy while I was gone on vacation. Richard and his crew are top notch. Highly recommend.

I'm obviously a crazy dog person, and don't trust many people to watch my baby, with Richard my mind is at ease!

While I do appreciate the fact that Alaina offered to refund her fee, I was trying to be nice and thought that she had given us her time, etc. However, after some time away from the situation and after attending MUCH cheaper / MORE helpful classes at our local PetCo, I now know that we didn't get really anything out of the two partial days she spent with us. Lesson learned. First example, she contradicted herself on more than one occasion confusing us and maybe even herself. We rescued a puppy from a shelter, a puppy that had been in quarantine and had come from another high kill shelter. She told us to get over where the puppy came from because the puppy got over it already...however she sites Pavlov and how dogs learn from positive reinforcement but how can they only learn from the positive, don't they also learn from the negative?? She admitted that she misspoke and didn't mean to. She mentioned that during our meetings, she has limited time so she sometimes rushes through things. Not good. Second example, on to our first actual meeting (the consultation), she spent AT LEAST 1/2 of ours telling us about how she had clients that lived in $10 million dollar homes and other similar comments, as if this would impress us, really?? It felt a little slimly, used car salesperson anyone?? She did not give us the full two hours 'we didn't need it'. Third example, she wanted to take my dog for the day, I do not know where and was very confused because she hadn't made this clear to me. She said she didn't have enough time during our training sessions to really work with the dog. For whatever reason, this made me very uncomfortable. How are we going to work with our dog if we are not there?? I think she was probably going to take the dog to her trainer because she was more than a little perplexed by our crazy puppy. * Her walking technic would have killed the dog if we had implemented it. She wanted us to pivot the other way when she pulled. This would have never worked with our dog. * Walking should be fun, not THAT MUCH work for the dog or us! * The 'bonk' she wanted us to smack the puppy with pissed the dog off to no end, created more anxiety in all of us and the dog. * There is not a one size fits all for training any dog. * She sites 'bad dogs' for barking at her dogs while walking or standing in front of them. These 'bad dogs' are on their property, behind a gate. Why are they bad?? Aren't dogs supposed to bark at times? My dog, without her help, walks by similar barking dogs every day, looks at them and keeps walking. * We felt that she was always watching the clock, not really giving us the full hour training we expected. Live and learn. I have learned, love our local PetCo, Bridgitte gets our crazy dog and loves her.

Before he would jet after squirrels and rabbits, now he is a perfect pup. After we had such success with the training we decided to switch our dog walking service and go with Alaina. Not only are her prices very reasonable she does a great job. He is tired after their walks/hikes every time and that is not easy to do with him. Basil loves Alaina, as do me and my wife. She helps us whenever we work late, have an emergency, go out of town, etc. It has been over a year that she has been walking Basil and I am proud to say that Alaina is part of our family!!!

My dog Hoops now waits by the window for Sam every single day and we went from a few walks a week to 5 days because honestly...it's so worth it and knowing our dog gets adequate exercise, hang time with other dogs and fun outside makes it worth it. Sam shows up every morning or afternoon and we chat a little and he genuinely loves my dog. He also sends pictures from the walk and it makes my day. At this point he is a part of our crew! Originally with my 80lbs Bernadoodle Oliver (5) who absolutely loved them. Sam & Oliver had a very special connection. Before Oliver passed Sam & Sofia came over and spent an hour with him giving him all the snuggles. Fast forward and we got a new puppy Rigby (1) who Sam has been training since day one. Rigby is the best on leash dog walker we have ever owned. He never pulls or barks at other dogs it's incredible what Sam has been able to do with him. We also do weekly training with Sam and Rigby has made huge improvements. Lastly my old lady Ellie (13) has the biggest love connection with Sofia. She brightens up the second she sees her. She is older and can't walk as often and I appreciate that Sam always offers her a walk but goes off her queues. I must also mention they are the most thoughtful humans. Never is there a holiday missed with these 2! From Halloween toys to Christmas ornaments or valentines sweets the dogs are spoiled by Sam and Sofia. We are so lucky to have them and honestly happy to call them friends. If you're in the area and are looking for kind, trust worthy humans this is your team.

If you're looking for a place where your dog will be loved like family, look no further than Dog…read moresitting by Ally I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ally and the care she gives to every dog. From the moment I met her, I could tell this wasn't just a business--it is truly her passion. She has such a kind heart, an incredible work ethic, and a genuine love for animals that you can feel immediately. My standard poodle, Chewy, goes to daycare with Ally , and when we went to Hawaii for nine days, I never once worried about him. Instead of being kept in kennels, the dogs get to live together in a comfortable home environment. They can relax on dog beds, sleep on furniture, play together, and simply be dogs. It's such a refreshing and loving alternative to traditional boarding. One thing that meant the world to me was how often Ally kept me updated. Every morning and every evening she sent me photos and updates of Chewy having fun, relaxing, and making friends. Seeing those pictures while I was away gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to truly enjoy my vacation, knowing he was happy, safe, and loved. I also love seeing how much thought she puts into making the dogs' days special. During the hot weather, she even sets up fun water play for them, and it's obvious from every picture that the dogs are having the time of their lives. Although I've only known Ally for a short time, I genuinely admire her. She is young, hardworking, compassionate, and has built something truly special. It's rare to find someone who cares this deeply about every dog in her care. Chewy absolutely loves going there, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to leave him with Allie again. I recommend Ally's Boarding & Daycare wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and happy place for their dog. Your pup will be treated like family, and that's something you simply can't put a price on. Thank you, Ally for taking such incredible care of Chewy. We are so grateful to have found you!

Lately, I've seen so many heartbreaking stories about doggy daycares: dogs getting hurt, neglected, escaping, or simply not being treated with the love they deserve. Every time I read one, my first thought is the same: thank God Nova has Ally and Travis. Nova has been coming here since he was just 6 months old. He's now about to turn 5, which means they've been part of nearly his entire life. They've watched him grow from a timid, reactive puppy into the confident, happy dog he is today. They know his quirks, his routines, what makes him nervous, what makes him excited, and they have loved every version of him along the way. As dog owners, we all know there are very few people we'd trust with our entire heart. That's what our dogs are. They're not just pets, they're family. And somehow Ally and Travis have earned a level of trust that I didn't even know was possible. I've left Nova with them for the longest periods I've ever left him with anyone, and I've never once laid awake wondering if he was okay. There has never been a moment where I questioned whether he was safe, loved, exercised, or cared for. That kind of peace is priceless, and if you're a dog parent, you know exactly what I mean. What means the most to me is that Nova makes the choice himself every single time. The second he realizes where we're going, he's beside himself with excitement. If he doesn't get to see Ally or Travis, he cries. When he does, he runs to them without looking back. As someone whose dog was once fearful of people, seeing him love someone that deeply tells me everything I need to know. Dogs don't fake trust. They don't pretend to feel safe. They either do, or they don't. Nova has never questioned whether Ally and Travis are his people. Over the years, they've been there through my work schedule, my vacations, family emergencies, and every moment in between. They have given me something I can never truly repay: the ability to go through life knowing that the biggest piece of my heart is safe. That feeling is something every dog parent hopes to find, and so few actually do. Even if life takes me somewhere else one day, if I'm ever back in town and need someone to watch Nova, there is no question where he's going. I would drive hours just to leave him with Ally and Travis because trust like this isn't replaceable. They're not just our daycare: they're part of Nova's family. If you're scrolling through reviews wondering whether this is the right place for your dog, I hope this helps. Five years later, after hundreds of drop-offs and pickups, I can say with complete confidence that choosing Ally and Travis was one of the best decisions I've ever made for Nova. They have loved him like he was their own, and I will spend the rest of his life being grateful for that.
