I can't say enough good things about Lana and Lidia from Sitting Pretty! I booked them for hair and makeup for myself (the bride) and my MOH/officiant, and I am so glad I did. I felt absolutely stunning, and my husband complimented my look all day long--especially the makeup! My MOH was thrilled with her look, too. Because I didn't do a preview before the big day, I just shared a Pinterest board of the hair and makeup styles we wanted. Lana and Lidia brought our visions to life perfectly. Not only were they incredibly professional, but they were also so much fun to hang out with! While we were getting pampered, we were chatting, playing music, and laughing the whole time. They truly started my wedding day on such a positive note. My hair can be tricky to style, but Lidia worked her magic and created a style I absolutely LOVED that stayed put all day and night. I was also blown away by my makeup. I wanted a natural look that would still show up well in photography. I had my wedding in Palm Springs a few weeks ago and Lana and Candice did an amazing job! A few months earlier I flew out for my trial and they were really responsive to my inspo pictures and followed what I asked for. They came to our rental house for day of hair/makeup. They are so kind and professional. I loved my hair and makeup so much so that I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. Both lasted all day/night I only needed to touch up my lipstick. My husband and I were headed to a wedding in Palm Springs, and I wanted to look a little extra fabulous by having my hair and makeup done. He found Sitting Pretty Beauty, and they were absolutely amazing! Lana and Candice were really responsive, they made sure to get some inspo images from me before the day, and they were right on time. Outside of all that, they are just sweet, fun girls...I enjoyed chatting and laughing with them the entire time they worked on me. And my hair and makeup were PERFECTION! I got compliments all night, my husband was swooning, and I felt like a princess. Candice even added some really pretty pearl pin accents to my hair so it would give the updo more dimension. I've been having my hair done by Clarise Marie for a few years now.. My mom referred her to me. She had been getting her hair dyed and cut from her for years just out of her house. I figured why not? Some places in the desert are so overpriced and out of touch with current styles that it wasn't gonna hurt to try something new. Well I absolutely loved her! She took me from brown to blonde, from blonde to brown and long to short, etc.. We've done it all. Every time I love my cut and color. I even had her color and cut and style my hair for my wedding! That's Trust Clarise also does the best blowdrys.. She accomplishes the sheen straight look I like without picking up a flat iron. Which to almost every other hair stylist is impossible.
