Our reservation was for 9:30am...we were told to arrive at 9:15am for paperwork....we arrived at 9:04am....one of the employees called in sick and the owner, Angel was doing a one man show. (Getting the skies ready and doing paperwork, running for gas.) At 10:00am we had our vest on ready to go!....then a group of cruise people showed up 10:03am...asking if they could join our tour....(their reservation was for the 11am tour.)....Angel did tell them no, we had been waiting awhile for our tour. ***WE LEFT THE DOCK AT10:09!!!!!!am... went out to the gulf, road around, Angel explained 'sacrificial leaf's of the mangroves, swam for about 10 minutes. ***WE CAME BACK TO THE DOCK AT 10:56am!!!!!! ***(I wear a waterproof Apple watch; and was wearing it today!) I asked Angel about our short trip being less than an hour....he said it was by mileage and not time.....BUT HAD WE LEFT AT 9:30AM AND RETURNED AT 11:00AM...THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN 1.5 HOURS!!!! ***I understand an employee called in sick, but that is NOT my issue...then leaving half an half hour late...I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THAT!!! ***DOWNTOWN ON DUVALL STREET (next to the The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory)....THERE IS A GENTLEMAN SELLING 2 HOUR 27MILE ISLAND TOURS 50.00 LESS THAN WE PAID WITH 'ISLAND SAFARI TOURS'!!!!----THE MAN SAID YOU CAN SNORKEL ON HIS TOURS RIGHTOFF THE JET SKIES!!!!!!!! Yes, but with a caveat, that being if your party includes someone 30ish years younger than you (ie 8-12 years old) and they seem better equipped to handle a jet ski solo then your 40ish year old ass does, then like...opt in for the Old Folks Jet Ski and Sundowning Tour, coming soon. We went to the Reach Resort and did the Jet Ski Tour and it was great! Our tour guides were Dakota and Mateus (I'm sure I spelled that incorrectly). They did a super job and REALLY knew their way around the Keys! Ask for them by name and enjoy the tour! Oh, and tip big! They will have earned it!

Amazing! NOT a "wave runner tour". This is an "adventure tour" that happens to be on wave runners…read more You'll go fast. 35-45mph and in the ocean you'll be flying over waves. It's exhilarating and you will get a workout. Our guide, Josh, was both fun and capable. Highly recommend if you like a thrill. Tips: Sunglasses are necessary. But not for the sun. There's an awful lot of spray and they work as goggles. Guys, if you have compression shorts (spandex) wear that instead of a bathing suit. At 45mph your bathing suit will catch the wind and ride up on you. They'll hold your bags behind the counter. Josh did take photos and texted them to us. Strong possibility you will be sore the next day (our swells in the Atlantic were 2-3 feet)! Plan accordingly

Our guide, Chris, was fantastic. Chris gave us some time to get comfortable with the Jet Skis in the wide open waters, which meant some time to tear through the water and ride the wake! Your guide will share photos to your phone at the conclusion so you don't have to worry about lugging and losing your phone. Definitely book this tour - you won't regret it! So ultimately we road the boat for 1 hour, getting sea sick, to do nothing. The crew was cussing saying they knew this would happen. When we got back to the docks, I requested to receive a refund, and free vouchers to come another time, because Sunsets poor decisions made it so our day was effectively wasted. There were no other watersports boats we could get on, and the rest of the weekend was supposed to be rainy. The front desk girl was EXTREMELY rude and acted as if my request was irrational. I had to call a manager who was also no help, it was even difficult to receive the refund. We eventually walked away sea sick and I had to wait nearly a week to get our money back, with our day ruined and the only opportunity for this sort of excursion gone. I made negative reviews on a couple sites to which I got defamatory responses back. Now, disregarding their poor behavior, manners, and morals, I wouldn't have ever considered Sunset had I know about their negligence lawsuit for the death of 2 parasailers which they were found liable for. Please consider Fury or another company, hopefully they'll treat you better and keep you safe.

Wow, were we lucky to find Finz when our charter to the Dry Tortugas canceled 5 days before our…read morescheduled excursion! Luckily, Finz had availability - and gratefully, we had Captain Rob and Holly to steer us there! His communication was EXCELLENT with texts in advance to keep me informed and prepared. We took their 37' Park Shark, which comfortably sat us in a cabin with plentiful views. The ride was a bit rougher than a catamaran, but it took us from Key West to the Dry Tortugas where Holly acted as our private tour guide, sharing insights about its history while we enjoyed the migrating birds. Afterwards, we zipped into wet suits that they provided to snorkel around a sunken ship. I'd recommend bringing your own lunch, especially if you have a vegetarian or pescatarian diet, but they kindly provide plenty of snacks and ice water. The crew was professional, friendly and attentive. We arrived at Fort Jefferson before the ferry, and enjoyed a private tour without the crowds. We visited two separate dive/snorkel sites (cool wrecks!) and lunch on the beach. Not cheap, but definitely the best way to visit the island from Key West, short of buying your own boat. Highly, highly recommend this company.
