Six hundred never misses. The quality of food this place consistently puts out is what keeps it high on my weekend rotation. Combine that with a seasonal menu it's hard not to love Six Hundred. Service is always excellent the whole staff is extremely knowledgeable about menu items and ingredients. Highly suggest sitting at the culinary bar so you can watch these chefs in action. Can be a little busy at the bar but still has some quiet cozy pockets farther back in the restaurant. Appetizers - anyone you ask about this place will tell you to get the pork belly burnt ends and they arent wrong, The lexington style dip (sauce) goes perfect with the texture. The scallop crudo has become my favorite as the lech de tigre sauce is unreal! Main - They do a really good ribeye and ny strip but for me the standout is the halibut! I paired it with the pea risotto and roasted heirloom carrots and it was by far my favorite meal here so far. Beer/drinks - Surprisingly carry a lot more craft and local beers than i would have thought. typically keep a rotating Edmund's Oast sour (pictured). Cocktail wise the Tom 8 0 is awesome the clarified tomato juice is really good.

It just so happens that this time we got to enjoy a tasting of six hundreds new menu items The one thing that really surprised me were the vegetarian options. The menu balanced a traditional steakhouse but included so many veggie focused dishes like their lions mane mushroom schnitzel, acorn squash queso, or their cauliflower tossed in a homemade romanesco sauce. The ambiance and food delivered!!

Great spot in downtown Winston! Service has always been outstanding and Dre makes the best Old Fashioned in the Triad! Don't skip the burnt ends and you definitely can't go wrong with the ribeye and your choice of sauce. You can use OpenTable to make reservations to ensure no wait or enjoy a seat at the bar with a great selection of bourbon!

I'm taking this place down a Star. We didn't eat here for several months and came back to try the new menu. The appetizers have changed a little. We got the rolls and were disappointed to see a smaller serving and sesame seeds on top. Sesame seeds seem to be a new thing. Several dishes have sesame seeds and peanuts. The Burnt Ends were back to being okay, nothing special. My wife had the Black Miso Cod, she said it was not well balanced to accommodate the saltiness of the Miso. My steak was also as good as I remember. Dessert was delicious. The music on the night we came was all eighties pop music. I would expect something jazzy or lounge. I was not in the mood for Boston and Judas Priest. It was very distracting. We will be back. We may have been here on a night the head chef was away.

Service was absolutely terrific and definitely meets high-class worthy! (Bradee I think was her name!). We were promptly seated at our reservation time and informed about ongoing specials and recommendations. Food came out quickly and we enjoyed our experience overall. Steak for the price was very unimpressive, and I think I was unlucky with my cut having lots of tendons and was on the chewy side. Both our medium steaks were also on the undercooked side than we're used to. Would definitely try to find something else to try instead! Would return for a fancy date night out or celebration!

Honestly, I was a little nervous about eating here because I have seen some not great reviews. However, we decided to take a chance and decide for ourselves and I'm so glad we did. First impression, we liked the "industrial chic" vibe, it felt fresh and funky. We started off just planning to have a drink at the bar. Our bartender Val was awesome in every way. Val encouraged us to come back for dinner (we had a nearby appointment) and we decided to do so. We had planned to sit right at the bar with Val but it was full so we were seated at a bar table where Sky took care of us and she was awesome as well. Our food was on point (my husband says it's easy to mess up scallops but his were cooked perfectly) and then we ordered the chocolate goat cheese mousse for dessert and it was literally Out Of This World. Please add this to the menu and also please use the name Sky suggested, The Smoke Show. We will definitely be back again.

Amazing food and service! I got the 6oz filet which was cooked perfectly, and the beets as a side. My server was so attentive! I got the chimichurri as my sauce, which was good, but a little acidic for my taste. Next time I come I'll probably try a different sauce. Huge wine list as well! found my new go to spot whenever I'm in town for work!

We went to Six Hundred° for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing. We sat at the bar and both our drinks and our bartender were great. He provided excellent recommendations and was the sweetest. The food was also top notch and cooked to perfection with great portions sizes for sharing. To top it off I was given this delicious skillet cookie to celebrate my birthday. Great experience and a great place for date night or a night out with friends.

Our absolute favorite method of dining at Six Hundred is ordering apps, drinks, and sometimes dessert. In my opinion, the apps are the most creative and flavorful items in the menu. We love the burnt ends, the pull apart bread, and most recently the steak tartare and tuna ceviche. For our anniversary dinner, we came here and went to town on apps and got a couple cocktails. It was perfect. If you're in the mood for a steak - by all means, get a steak! They're just fine. But the apps really shine here and make for a fun little tapas moment for dinner.

First time at six hundred degree restaurant located in downtown Winston salem. The ambiance had an upbeat but classy vibe so you can basically wear almost anything to dimmer. The steak was perfect. Very moist and flavorful. The duck was good but it could have used a different sauce. Kind of on the bland side. The kale and spinach sides we had were extremely salty. We enjoyed the pull apart bread and moscato though! The service was great. No complaints there. Great for date night!

A year later another dinner here and another outstanding menu! I love that they keep it new and different every time I come here. The service was amazing and the patio was perfect on a July evening. The 600 spritz still my fave cocktail here. The pull apart rolls are outstanding. The ahi tuna ceviche. Oh my god. Get it. The grilled octopus. Wow. Amazing. Some of the best I've ever had. The chocolate mint semifreddo. Such a interesting dessert, and yes just like a Andes mint on the first bite! The espresso martinis were on point. We loved every bite and sip! Gotta love a experience like this.

I'm amazed! This place is absolutely fantastic. The dishes are exquisite, well thought out and absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef! I love that from the start they came out with a plate of lemon, lime, orange and grapefruit slices to add to our water, that was a nice touch. The waiter was knowledgeable about all the dishes and steered us right, everything he recommended to us was great. I love the outside deck, the weather was gorgeous and it has a great view of the area. I have no complaints; I'd definitely come back and that dessert was phenomenal!

I ate here with my family after an event at Bailey Park. My child loves steak and since they have it on their children's menu, he was excited to eat here. Our waiter was excellent. If you order water, they bring out a tray of citrus to choose from. I really enjoyed this touch and was excited to have lime in my water. We started with the rolls and homemade butter. The rolls were so delicious. It was hard not to order a second pan of them. My son really wanted to try the New York strip so we shared that along with their creamy rice. I started with a salad which was light and refreshing. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I like how you could choose a sauce to go with it. We had their Demi glaze which just added to the flavor. The rice is similar to a risotto and was delicious. For dessert, we shared the skillet cookie. It had a good balance of sweet crunchy and salty. We are fans of the restaurant and plan to come back in the future.

My husband was assaulted inside the bar, and the people responsible left before police arrived. To make matters worse, we were told the cameras only livestream and do not record, which was incredibly frustrating because it meant there was no recorded footage available to help identify the people involved. Everyone deserves to enjoy a night out without worrying about their safety. Based on our experience, I would choose a bar with better security measures and recorded surveillance instead.

A few people were playing card games at one table, others were hanging out near the pool table, and a handful were just vibing to the music at the bar. They have an extensive beer list and some fun New Orleans-style tropical cocktails. I was happy to see an Aperol Spritz on the menu--and it was made properly, so I ended up ordering a second one. It seemed like a few friends of the bartender came in and started picking the music, which shifted into a mix of dance tracks and rap. The vibe fizzled out a bit after that, so we decided to head out. Overall, it could be fun little spot, we will check back later. If you're in the area and miss Hoots Brewery, definitely check out Bar Nola. I can only imagine how great their Mardi Gras party must be or Super Bowl day. On the other end of the building, there's a huge open space with beautiful hardwood floors and a another bar. It looks like the kind of venue where you could easily host a party with a live band--maybe they even rent it out for weddings or holiday events, though I'm not sure if it's officially part of the bar. There's also a large outdoor area with a TV and an uncovered bar, but since it was cold last night, everyone stayed inside. It seems like you can take your drinks out into the alleyway between the two buildings. Definitely a beautiful area to be when the weather is nice.
