And here's the thing -- when we get a craving for a burger, what we're mostly craving is the flavor and texture of a "real" hamburger. Your veggie burger was good, and again, the effort was most appreciated. But it was just a good sandwich. It didn't satisfy my hamburger craving. My husband and I had our 9-month-old baby with us, and it felt very manageable even when he got a little vocal It took a little long to order our food, but it did look like the employees were covering tables, hostessing, and making drinks, so I give them credit for managing the busyness. I got the BBQ pork nachos, which were so yummy!! The portion was very giving, and my husband and I definitely could've shared, but I was happy to have it all to myself. We visited The Quiet Pint to try their St. Patrick's Day special menu. I ordered the Reuben Wrap and my husband got the St. Patrick's Flatbread. Both dishes were good overall but there were a couple of things that didn't quite work for us. For my wrap, I love sauerkraut and appreciated that it had a generous amount. However, the amount of sauerkraut seemed to outweigh the amount of corned beef. There wasn't much corned beef in the wrap so the sauerkraut flavor ended up overpowering everything else which was a little disappointing. For my husband's flatbread, the Guinness glaze tasted good on its own but we didn't feel it paired as well with the other ingredients on the flatbread. We know they usually do a great job with their food so if something on their weekly menu catches our interest, we'd definitely be open to trying it next time. The extended hours here compared to most nearby businesses has saved me a couple times when it's after 9 pm and dinner is still a problem to solve. The food is solid all-around, I can't say I've ever had anything here I was unhappy with and the menu has a couple standouts which are really impressive. I'm a big fan of their smash burgers. Combine that with an extensive beer selection and you have a great reliable late night spot for food you can take pretty much anyone to and they should be happy. Service has always been good here for me and I can't say I ever had anything issues, they were always attentive and did a great job. It's been a minute since I've been to Quiet Pint Tavern. A rare Friday evening off prompted me to head towards downtown to see where the people hang out. Quiet Pint had a packed parking lot for sure. My husband and I were seated at a table near the door and were quickly greeted by our super friendly server. I wish I could remember her name so I could give her a shout out here. We took a minute to check out the cocktail and beer options. My husband is always trying to find a beer for me since I'm not a beer drinker at all. He ordered Legion Brewery Pog called Super Nova. I ordered a Spiced Apple Martini from their seasonal cocktail menu. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I like my drinks very sweet with little to no alcohol flavor. That said, I took one sip and I knew I wasn't going to be able to handle the liquor in my martini. My husband tasted it though and loved the warm flavors so I know it's just my wimpy tastebuds that are the issue and not the drink. I took a sip of his beer as well and immediately tasted that sour flavor he mentioned. I couldn't drink a whole glass but it wasn't the worst sip of beer I've ever tasted and he enjoyed it so win win! We always order and share our meals so tonight, keeping that in mind we decided on the charred broccoli, loaded nachos, and Mac and cheese with pork belly. Our food came pretty quickly and we dove right in to the charred broccoli with garlic aioli. Such a simple dish but the broccoli was cooked perfectly to my taste and had tons of flavor on its own without the aioli but with that addition it was a 10/10 for me. The Mac and cheese was super gooey and creamy. Adding the marinated pork belly gave it such a wonderful punch of flavor that was perfect. The nachos are a huge portion and could easily be shared with more than two people. We didn't add an extra meat on ours but there are options to do that. The chips were the perfect thickness and held up to all the toppings well. A big plus for sure! Service was quick and friendly all evening. My one single complaint was that we had a cold draft on us the whole time and I couldn't place where it was coming from. I didn't have my coat because it was a warmer day but when the sun went down the temps dropped and both my husband and I were pretty chilly the whole time. Glancing around the bar tables, I noticed most people still had their coats on and I looked at the people on the heated patio and most were still wearing their coats as well so I knew it wasn't any warmer out there. This was our first time to visit. We were driving by and noticed it before we got on the freeway and thought we would stop in for a drink. Let me just say that the food is amazing. We spoke to the manager and he said that one of the things he was proud of was the consistency of their food. My wife and I both agreed that the french fries and the pretzel were great. Honestly we cannot say enough about the pretzel. AMAZING! Brian was our server and he was non-stop checking on us but wasn't expecting intrusive. He also had a great sense of humor and help make our visit even more enjoyable. It's pretty obvious this place is a local hangout. Quite frankly if we lived in this area we would be hanging out here too. They had football playing on multiple TVs with multiple games going on. This is me officially admitting that I have slept HARD on the Quiet Pint, because wow, what a great neighborhood tavern! They have plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a hybrid situation for those in between times when the addition of a heater could make things more tolerable. I'm gonna say that these were some of my favorite fried pickles of all time, and they were so plentiful that both me and my dining partner had enough to split and air-fry later for another meal. Crispy, salty but not overkill, great ranch to dip it in. They took an already favorite appetizer of mine and hit a home run. The burger, also a huge hit. They've jumped on the smash patty trend, and these are a very good representation. Nice brown crust, still juicy, plenty of flavorful bits on the edges, adorned with melty cheese and in my case some crispy onions... and on a pretzel roll! Winner winner burgy dinner. I had broccoli salad as my side, and though it was good, it was ultimately something I saved for later because I was pretty full. Maybe a bit too ranch heavy, but with a little shake, good balance. My husband and I attended a symphony at the Reynolds Auditorium. On our way home, we passed by The Quiet Pint Tavern and decided to stop by for a drink. There's a couple of outside seating available. One part's enclosed and have a portable heater. We decided to sit in the enclosed area but found out it's still a little chilly for our taste. The staff who seated us took us in the dining room and seated us. We appreciated his patience. The inside reminded me of a cozy pub which is cool. I ordered a mimosa which is one of the Sunday drinks special. After reading the menu, our plan of just having drinks changed to ordering food!! Everything sounded good! We ordered a Bavarian pretzel with cheese dip for appetizer. This pretzel's got to be the best pretzel I've ever had! I had the chicken wings for my main course which were also awesome! Brian, our waiter was very attentive. We were very impressed of the service and the quality of the food. We sat outside under the awning and I noticed how full and lively inside was by the bar. The servers seemed to be pushed to their capacity as patrons continued to arrive, but our servers ensured we could order and have what we needed in a reasonable time. We ordered the Pommes Frites and Fried Pickle Chips with the horseradish-garlic aoli as starters. The fries arrived warm and crispy and the Parmesan cheese, rosemary toppings added nice flavor. The fried pickle chips, however, easily took top spot as my best tasting food for the evening. The spicy horseradish garlic aioli provided a great complement to the sour dill pickles. I asked for a second serving of the aioli after polishing off the first one. My entree, Korean BBQ Pork taco, seemed inviting reading the menu ingredients. However, as I took in my first bite, the saltiness overwhelmed the other flavors and the slices of kimchi were cold, rubbery, and not spicy. My dinner mates also were unimpressed with their orders on this evening. Overall, I think (Not so) Quiet Pint is a fun gathering place for groups and friends with okay food and better appetizers. I also had 2 NC IPAs, which complemented the meal perfectly. We topped off the meal with an excellent Black Forest Cake dessert (prepared by a very sweet lady named Amanda). I particularly liked the interior lighting which was not too bright inside but the perfect level of warm and laid-back ambience. They have a good selection of drinks and a QR code beer menu. Service was prompt and server was very friendly and positive also making recommendations. I went with the classic cheese smash burger, and I was satisfied with how such a simple burger was cooked perfectly with fresh ingredients. It was very delicious. In addition to the burger, outlet table shared the loaded nachos and it was beautifully put together like a work of art. The toppings were perfectly loaded evenly throughout , and it was not soggy topped with drizzle over the top. These were probably one of the best nachos I've had in a while. I love that the interior has a bar esque feel so it's laid back. I don't feel like i need to dress up to have a great meal here. The service was prompt and friendly just like we like. Everyone has always said to get the Big Bang shrimp and I've now added it to my list of must order items on their menu as well. The crispy shrimp, soft rice, and sauces are the perfect app! I got the club panini and it was SO THICK. They don't skimp on the meat which is always a plus when ordering a sandwich. I really enjoyed the pasta salad on the side as well. My friend got the pork belly nachos and honestly, the pork belly may have been a best bite of 2023 for me. The next time I go back these nachos will also be a must order. It had been a couple years since I've been to quiet pint but woooow have they upped their game! I started with the pimento cheese Korean pork belly deviled eggs. This dish was a weekly special but should definitely be on the regular menu. It was so unique and flavorful, never had anything like this before. The eggs were cooked perfectly as well. For my entree I got the sweet and spicy flatbread (without peppers because just not my thing) so mine was basically pepperoni pizza with hot honey drizzled on top! So so good and I even asked for a side of more hot honey because I loved the flavor so much. Also of note this was the biggest flatbread I've ever had, definitely get your monies worth! This is a great neighborhood watering hole that also serves up some good pub food. It's been around over 10 years now so they must be doing something right. The restaurant is small but there is a covered patio with plenty of additional seating. There is ample parking in their lot so getting in and out is simple. I chose to sit on the patio since the weather was so nice and it was very pleasant there out of the sun. I was quickly given a menu and my beverage order taken. I decided to try the Gochujang Chicken Sandwich and a stepped up side of Ultimate Black Bean Cake. The order was on the table in under 15 minutes. The chicken sandwich was very nice, a large chicken cutlet perfectly cooked that was tender and moist topped with slices of pickle and plenty of the Gochujang sauce. The sauce was very good, bringing some heat with a pleasant touch of sweetness - a sweetness not found in the traditional Nashville Hot Chicken The Loaded Black Bean Cake was also large and the cake was excellent with the toppings lifting the taste up several notches. The service was super - engaging and attentive. The menu here is varied with a combination of the usual pub food and a number of interesting items that elevates the food above the pub norm. Yelp advertised as good for groups, so we came here for our monthly work dinner. We knew they didn't take reservations but they said they could accommodate us. What they did not tell us they could not push tables together and the hosts were not communicating. A table left and one host gave us four tables for our group of 16. The other host then seats a single guest at a four top we were just advised was for us, when there were four two tops open. We finally get sat and eat table had different wait staff. Every table moved at a different pace and we weren't close enough to talk together. Our server was wonderful. I ordered a mocktail and it tasted of alcohol when it arrived so she brought it back to ensure I got what I had ordered. The food was also delicious.
