This was, by far, an awesome venue. My husband and I came by to see Seven Year Witch play, and all we can say is "wow". Our server, Keri, was so nice and attentive. Our glasses were never empty the entire night. She made us feel right at home and took very good care of us. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. As someone who loves fried pickles, my husband and I both agree that these were the best we have ever had. He ordered the BBQ sandwich and I had the fried chicken sandwich - both cooked to perfection. The sidewinder fries and sweet potato fries were also tasty. I would also like to thank the bartender (I didn't catch her name) that suggested the Liquid Marijuana cocktail - I loved it! All-in-all, we loved this experience. On Friday night I just got finished driving for 12 hours and wanted one of those accomplishment meals. I lucked into a prime rib special and a rocking bar band. The service was very attentive. I never had an empty pint of Guiness for very long. The food was yummy and satisfying. Since it's just a couple of blocks from where I'm staying I'll definitely be going back. Visited Sixes Tavern for the first time to see a concert. The Tavern staff was amazing. The food was so good. HIGHLy recommend the bacon wrapped steak fries! They were the highest I have ever had and so flavorful! Wings are very good and husband had country fried steak and said it was very good and a lot of food! The food was pretty good. The ambiance left something to be desired. The service was not great but it also seemed there were very few waitresses to cover all of the customers, they seemed overwhelmed. The staff was friendly as I mentioned but there needed to be more attention paid to their areas. The bathrooms were terrible! They were not clean and the door wouldn't shut properly. I Have Gone to Sixes Tavern in Cartersville for several Years. Almost Everyone there Know Me By Name. The Last Saturday I Went to Sixes, I was told by the Hostess, Pick a Table. I Sat in the First Table, to the Front of the Restaurant. Every Server that was beyond me Had to Pass Me. I saw at least 10 Tables Seated and Served. NOT ONE SERVER ASKED FOR MY DRINK ORDER. Like I said, Almost Every Server Knows Me By Name. If You Have the Choice to Go To Sixes, or Have Your Eyeballs Plucked Out. I WOULD CHOSE GETTING YOUR EYEBALLS PLUCKED OUT. This Place Has Gone To Hell. And In a Serious Way. I could Understand, if I was the farthest place in the Restaurant, and a Server could Miss Me. But I literally had a Server pass me 45 times in the course of 75 Minutes before I WALKED OUT. SIDELINES IS A GREAT PLACE TO GO, SECOND HALF, HOOTERS. ANYWHERE OTHER THAN SIXES. Apparently Sixes did not need our business tonight.once seated we sat there waiting for a waitress for about 30 minutes. The waitress for the tables to each side of us didn't acknowledge us. We tried to get the attention of hostess that seated us when she seated another party by us but she wouldn't even make eye contact with us so we just left. Sixes tavern top notch place to see live music and decided to Reserved a table for four Babes Bayou.. Had friends show up to hangout.. Table behind us complained about us standing up and the Music didnt start until 8:38. Was told by a rude kitchen cook that we cannot have friends near our table.. We ask for the boss, he said he was the boss not true.. Only people who can be at the table is four designated patrons.. Never heard such a thing.. Give props to the owner asking and telling us what the policy was.. Top class fella and took care of everything.. Once the music started, we couldnt see anything sitting down, we didnt complain about the people in front of us... Who sits down at a venue... Food was excellent and server was awesome... Our first time here tonight, and it was AMAZING! It was bingo night and everyone there was super friendly! We had an appetizer that was bacon wrapped steak fries, those were awesome!! I got a ribeye and it was literally the best steak I've ever had! The taste was flavorful and perfect. My husband had prime rib and he enjoyed his too! The sides were wonderful too! We decided to spend New Year's Eve here at the last minute. Called the phone number of the bus service that you offer and what a WONDERFUL service that is. THANK YOU. We ate dinner in the restaurant ( first time in that part) services was spot on ( which was unexpected due to it being a crazy busy night) As for the food, our table had the Rueben, the pulled pork sandwich, a burger, the sixes bowl and mashed potato balls. It's Thursday, which is biker night here. They have live music most nights. It was crowded, but there was plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. They had $3 draughts and the Tex Mex burger I got was pretty good, not a ton of flavor in the meat. The toppings though, were fresh. We went in side to be seated several men at the bar were cursing very loudly. The placed looked dirty. My husband said "let's get out of here". I definitely agreed and we left. Came here last night for the first time with my son while in town. We entered near the band side and the friendly, kind gentleman directed us to the restaurant side. We were seated right away and the server was so nice and attentive. The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. read more

Ok place. Definitely more of a bar than a restaurant. Went around 5:45 on a Sunday afternoon to grab a bite with some friends...Loud band playing, and we were going to catch up....bad idea here when they are playing music. Would be good on Friday or Saturday night. Also was very hot inside. We actually thought the a/c might be broken. Really hot.... Food was ok. Our party had a Reuben, chicken tenders, hamburger, quesadilla, and the salmon. Approx $12-15 per entree, and food was ok. Good beer menu. Go for music and drinks! read more

Great service, good food, good atmosphere even though I didn't really care for the live music. NOTHING really to complain about here, but nothing really to rave about either. Plenty of standard liquors (limited bourbon though) to choose from for a place as such, but at least I know I can get a Pickle-Back from here. Sixes Tavern is located well outside of the busy sections of Cartersville and it's essentially a biker-friendly upscale music hall, featuring live music as often as 3-4 nights a week as well as trivia night and karaoke. The food choices are fairly good, draft beer is served in chilled mugs, and the cocktails are quite generously poured. Of course, it's also a sports bar with multiple big screen TVs and pool tables. What's best is their support of local musicians, as Sixes hires bands that play both covers and originals. Sixes also hosts benefit concerts, high quality tribute bands, and open mic-type showcases. Plus, there's safety offered as they boast a FREE (please tip the driver) shuttle. Go to Sixes for Halloween, New Year's Eve, and for the music and you'll have a good time. read more

Had a great time, music was great and drinks were reasonably priced. Everything turned for the worse when the bartender was thirsty for money. Closed out the tab and proceeded to exit. Then we were approached by the bartender. She asked if we were displeased with her service because we gave her a poor tip. The service was basic, she opened beers and poured liquor, nothing more. Everytime we went up to the bar we tipped her per drink, thus the reason for a modest tip at the end. Music was great, price was decent and service was unsatisfactory. read more

I was surprised at the quality of food. We went there for lunch. Not just typical bar food like I expected. The pollo loco chicken is awesome. The southwest egg rolls are great, (but you can get those much cheaper at Chili's). Haven't tried the steaks, but my mom had one of the burgers.The condiment.. I think it was bbq sauce used was very hot, would be nice to know that (as she couldn't finish eating it). Wings are ok, along with the other more typical bar food, you usually get at bars. They have always been pretty quick with my orders. Side note...don't bother trying to order to go food after 8pm. I was told they were not allowed to take pickup orders after 8, which is a shame for people who work late. I know that's probably their busiest times, but come on..how hard is it to cook something and throw it in a to go box?? read more

I have been coming here for two years now and have NEVER experienced what I did today. Wait staff sitting in kitchen comes out and ignores me as I ask for help 3 times. The bar tender trying to do it all by herself but we are left at a back table with no drinks no check, we could walk out and no one would even know. Went to enjoy a night out to watch a friends band on a Bike night. The girl behind the bar was by far the rudest most disrespect person i have encountered. We had to ask the couple next to us to flag her down, then she proceeded to roll her eyes and act as if we were bothering her to order drinks. We will not be returning any time soon. I used to visit this place more frequently. The food has always been (and still is) passable. We went to see a live band play last week because I really love the band and was glad they were so close to where I live. The schedule had it billed as "Bike Night" which doesn't bother me at all. The food was decent, the server was really nice and professional. However, during the intermission, the emcee (who was maybe someone in authority) hops up on the stage and starts ranting about the one thing they won't accept in there, which turned out to be anyone who chooses to #takeaknee in support of NFL players protesting racism in the same way that MLK Jr. would have asked them to. Everyone began cheering. I booed loudly and the man repeated himself saying if you supported the protest, they didn't want you in there. And then, they prayed. It was the most hypocritical aberration I've ever managed to witness and I live in the south. I won't be going back. read more
