I have been a long time fan of Hooters. I've never been one to turn down a cold beer being served to me by a pretty girl and, yes, I really do go for the wings! Unfortunately, this has to be one of the worst, if not, the worst Hooters I've been to. From slow service to cold food, the entire experience was a disappointment. We visited on a Friday evening around 7:30-8:00 to listen to live music on the patio. As we walked through the restaurant I noticed it to be pretty busy along with a full bar. The patio, however, was dead with only two other tables besides ours and two serves assigned to the area. We waited a solid 15 minutes before we were greeted and asked for our drink order. From there we waited about another 10 minutes to get our drinks with one person in our party waiting even longer. We placed our food order when the drinks came which consisted of wings and curly fries. After 50 minutes and one of us going inside to ask out our food, it showed up, cold. On top of that we were missing part of the order. Our server apologized and informed us she had just had surgery... not sure what that means but apparently it means our food gets to sit in the window. I know there are bad nights. On our drive from Chicago to Florida, we stopped in for dinner. We have been to this location on a previous Chicago to Florida trip. I'll be honest, the place didn't seem very clean, there is NO reinforcement of masks, none of the staff is wearing masks, they allow people to smoke right outside the door so the smell comes in every time the door is opened. We got the Buffalo shrimp and crispy jalapeños for appetizers, they were great!! Wings were great too. Had I not expected the food to be good, I would have walked out of here. Food quality saved them from a one star. We had a VERY attentive and wonderful associate named Caliece who seemed to be tending bar, waiting on tables, and welcoming patrons. Very busy place, Saturday is not a good day to visit. Wings and beer specials. (A large selection of draft beer to choose from, some of the guys wanted to go twin peaks but only because it is new, just opened in February 2019) . I prefer the shrimp boiled. This hooters was not really on the norm of things. For some reason (maybe the oil they use) everything I ate had a weird sweet taste to it. Which normally wouldn't be a problem but I wasn't feeling it. I stood at the front entrance and they have no hostess stand so you are in an awkward spot wondering if you should just grab seat. Finally the bar tender asked another girl to greet me. My waitress was nice and fast and I don't blame her for any of the bad at this place. She was the reason they got two instead of one. The beer was the only saving grace and it was over-priced. I saw one guy who looked like a manager just standing around on his phone. No manager walking around checking with customers. I write this after today being the third time getting burned at this location. I phoned in our takeout order with very explicit instructions, and despite this, still it was wrong. I asked to have wings served dry or with the sauce on the side because previous visits I found the wings floating in the basket. Today we picked up the order to find them swimming again despite ordering them dry. My wife waited with the balance of our order getting cold (25 more minutes) while the wrong part was remade. She got home to find her lemon pepper wings and fries cold, and despite paying for all drums, got nine of the ten we paid for - all mixed. Mine were good but not without an added surprise. We had a couple wings with feathers! So it sounds petty but this is the third time in a row so it's worth sharing in hopes something will be done to cleanup the standards. Oh yeah, picture attached. I sat at the bar tonight and the bar tender hung out my entire meal at the end of the bar (where food it put up) chatting it up with what appeared to be her boyfriend. Mike, I would encourage you to review your cameras so you can see for yourself what I am talking about. The camera doesn't lie. And the "manager" is clueless. Had a great time here! Our servers name was Lexi and she was awesome! Great service and always had refills before we asked for them. We enjoyed the fried pickles and the pretzel bites with cheese for appetizers. I had the fried buffalo shrimp which are my favorite thing to eat there! I'm giving three stars only because all the girls are very nice and the food was hot and fresh, but I guess they changed the sauce and it sucks. Everytime I've been to this location it's been very good, but today was a total disappointment. Hope they get back to what made them world famous. Hi Will, I'm not sure how to dm you. Thank you to our server, Ashley who was friendly and attentive. She did a great job. I still love the environment of Hooters, but the food at this location is not up to corporate standards. We ordered the buffalo platter with 6 wings, shrimp and boneless wings. Also got a side of fries and hot sauce. As soon as the food hit the table, I knew something was off. The sauce wasnt the normal color or thickness. Usually the hot sauce sticks to the shrimp and wings, but this sauce was the wrong color and runny. Not to mention it wasnt "hot" at all. When we asked about it, our server and a manager told us it had recently been changed by corporate. What?? I know this sauce comes in 5 gallon buckets and doubt its going to be changed for one small town location. She (the manager) then said "Im not supposed to tell anyone this, but corporate changed our hot sauce. They are testing it here." I didnt buy that at all. Kennesaw is the test store and when something new is being tested, its touted on the menu and upsold, not secretly unleashed on guests like guinea pigs. Same manager admitted to having to comp alot of food because of this... Second manager came over and offered to bring another side of hot sauce out. It was the same crap watered down goo. Service is pretty slow here. I think the girls get sidetracked by attending to there "regular customers" every need. Ex., after taking my order the waitress stopped at 4 tables just to say hi and give out hugs to other customers then she put in my order. I did bring this to her attenuation and she did apologize. The only way I can describe the feel is that of partially dried paint....or the floor of a porn set the morning after a bukakke shoot...I think you get the picture. Our server, Abbey, took our order and then promptly disappeared like Chandra Levy for 30 minutes. We were able to locate her sitting at a table with three guys in a different section of the restaurant....I can only assume what they were talking about...perhaps this would explain the sticky tables?
