    Breakfast Bagel - with Bacon
    Mariah L.

Stop by VCH due to the hype on Yelp. When I got there, the line was out the door. Despite the long line, the baristas worked fast to take and make orders. The coffee shop was cute but cramped. The outside seating was a lot more spacious and good for groups. We ordered an iced vanilla latte, a breakfast bagel and two plain bagels with cream cheese. The iced vanilla latte was decent. Not amazing but good for caffeinating me on an early morning drive. The breakfast bagel sandwich was greasy/oily. The taste of oil overpowered the bacon, egg and cheese flavor. Next time I'm in Indio, I'll stop by for coffee, but I'll skip the sandwich.

Second time giving this place a try...the line was to the door but it went by quick. I ordered the banana bread latte because I saw it was one of the baristas favorite. My hubby got the cinnamon roll latte. I also wanted a breakfast bagel but the cashier said they were out (at 11am) ;( Service was nothing special. We actually got our coffees pretty quick even if there were a lot of people. My husband and I were very disappointed when we tried our coffees. My coffee didnt taste anything like banana, and his just tasted like watered down coffee. I dont really understand why their line was long, must be the Bieber effect

The Vintage Coffee House is such a cute coffee spot in Indio, CA. While it's located in a strip mall, the interiors are tastefully decorated and give off cozy vibes, and there's nice outdoor seating as well. It's got a leg up on Starbucks with an extensive menu of creative drink combinations. I went with a half sweet macadamia nut white chocolate latte (4.5/5) which was a unique and great tasting drink without many hints of bitterness. The chocolate croissant (4/5) was light and airy, but was a bit of a mess to eat with chocolate getting all over your hands. Service (5/5) was nice and friendly, helping us navigate the menu and answering questions we had about the unique drink options. Overall, the Vintage Coffee House is a great small business option for your coffee fix in Indio.

Delicious local pastries and espresso! Girls behind the bar are always having fun. Cozy spot great for breakfast or studying! Dog friendly too!

Great coffee and flavor options! I asked about sugar free flavors and they had tons of options. The person who checked us out was great and knew the sugar free flavors and menu options off the top of her head which was nice. Our order came out fast. The sugar free hazy was great! Chicken salad sandwich was good. Lots of seating both inside and out.

We have seen on social media that the vintage coffee house was a popular coffee shop and before we headed back home we decided to check it out. It is located in a big plaza but parking was still hard to find. The line was already out the door but since we were there we waited. There was a good sized patio area with a lot of seating. Once we made it inside the first thing we noticed was how hot it was in there! Could've been all the people inside but it really was uncomfortable. They have a lot of pastries, bagels and sandwiches on the menu. The pastries in the display all looked so good. Since we had a long drive ahead we got some to go. We ordered a plain and a jalapeño bagel both toasted with cream cheese, a cheese danish and a blueberry scone. For drinks we got an ice blended vanilla coffee and an iced banana bread latte with an extra shot. Our drinks came out fast and we just had to wait for the bagels. The back corner was less crowded and much cooler. There are a couple tables inside and more outside seating as well. My favorites were the blueberry scone and the jalapeño bagel. Our drinks were just okay, nothing to rave about. Service was fast and only 2 of the staff seemed friendly. Maybe it was just so busy? Overall I would only come back for the jalapeño bagel.

I love going to this coffee shop! One of my favorite places to go to in the valley. The blonde girly with bangs and brunette girly with tattoos have amazing customer service. They definitely made my day. I just tried the caramel mocha latte and it was so good. Can't wait to come back and try out more drinks!

Grabbed a cold brew and a date bar and I was impressed! The cold brew was strong and exactly what you need at 6am! The date bar was a surprise, I grabbed it on a whim and enjoyed the sweet/savory flavors and it was pretty filling. The location itself is cute, I loved the decor and the staff members were pleasant!

Too few of these reviews mention the latte art. If I were to ask for a butterfly, would it be distinguishable from my wife's maple leaf? Thank you

It was well after the lunch rush but it was pleasantly busy. Employees were friendly and checking on patrons, serving food and tending to empty tables. We had been waiting awhile, so I carried our number in with me and made note of the numbers they were delivering... which were higher numbers than ours, but also very random. I went to the cash register and asked the employee if they called the numbers in order. She answered politely that no they didn't. I then mentioned we were sitting outside and asked if I should wait inside for my order so they wouldn't have trouble finding us. We were not in a hurry and were trying to make it easy on the hardworking employees....and bonus that it was cool inside *At that point, a man who I perceived was a manager or maybe even the owner , turned to me from behind the counter, handed me a bag and said " Here Ma'am , GO!" Then turned back around to what he was doing. What? GO? I don't know what his intent was because I'm not a mind reader, but it felt rude and dismissive. His facial expression was as though he was busy and or annoyed. I was so surprised at his response in such an otherwise pleasant environment. I'm pretty tolerant of grumpy people (you know, sometimes there's a reason) but this just felt really icky -it was our intended destination after a hot drive from Phoenix and it did not sit well with us. We won't be returning. Food =10 Customer service = so disappointing 3

I especially enjoyed the #14 The House. It's a house-made chicken salad with nuts and cranberries and comes with sprouts, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper on Squaw Bread. The cranberries adds a mild sweetness which balances out the mayo and the nuts adds another layer of crunchy texture and flavor which I loved. If I were to be honest, I wasn't too crazy about their bread. On both sandwiches, it was soft which was good, yet at the same time, just a bit stale. While the sandwiches initially seemed loaded, most of the ingredients are right in the middle of the sandwich where they slice it in half, so while it's very visually appealing, there's basically a ring near the crust of the bread that didn't have much toppings. As far as the Love The Club sandwich. I think they are a bit heavy handed with the salt. The sandwich was too salty. At $33 for two sandwiches, it's also a tad bit pricey. Overall good experience and will be back to try more !

The crepe wrap had this perfectly crisp netting surrounding the outer layer of the crepe. It completely won me over with the first bite as I'm someone that enjoys crispy and crunchy textures in my food. Everything down to the chicken, the fillings, and the crepe itself were just delicious. I came as a party of 3 and for the first half of our eating experience we were eating in complete silence because of how good our wraps tasted. That itself should be a testament to how great this place is. As an added plus, they had a water station & great music to vibe with. The contents can be a bit heavy though so if you're looking for a light breakfast, sharing one crepe wrap amongst two would be the way to go. Towards the end of my crepe I noticed that I was slowing down because of how heavy the flavor profiles were, so having something to contrast that, like a lighter side dish, would've been nice.

The signage was clear and this spot was easy to find. Plenty of working, some in the direct front but if those aren't available they share a large parking lot with the other businesses so easy access. The day we came in after traveling it was pretty busy. Lots of customers in line but they kept the line moving. What could have felt a little stressful was their manager or owner was in the mix training one of the new staff. During a lunch rush that can definitely be a challenge and I understood it's probably a bit awkward for the new staff to learn with a bunch of customers watching. However, I felt like it was a positive as the owner was actually giving really good feedback to the staff. It showed me the manager really knows what he's doing and wants to ensure the best experience for the customer. For example, the new staff tried putting my sandwich and desserts in a bag that would have not laid flat/tilted my sandwich. The manager caught this right away and explained that if you put my sandwich in the bag like that, then some of the dressings and oils would run out of the sandwich and make the wrapper very oily and maybe even go through the wrapper into my bag. It was a good catch and I appreciate that attention to details for sure. I won't go on and on about the sandwich since I've reviewed other jersey mikes but I will say they are my favorite chain sandwich shop. I love the fresh sliced deli meat, the toppings are always fresh, and being a sauce girl I do really like the flavor of their mayo and honey mustard. I just wanted to come here to leave a positive review as this is one of their newer locations and I see the staffs efforts to learn and to make this spot a great experience with nice customer service. It's convenient for me location wise and I'll definitely be back.
