This place has done the area a great service - it's hard to find boutique gourmet coffee shops and this one hits the mark! Cold brew was probably the best in the area, the ube, pandan, and banana flavors all add speciality flavors to mix it up for those who are feeling adventurous or those who want a taste of home. They use special milk which has a coconut milk base to the pandan latte which is delicious for those who love pandan. And all of the savory and sweet pastries we tried were amazing. Don't miss out on the ube tea cake and the empanadas. Bomb. And service was super friendly as well. This is going to be our go to coffee spot whenever we're in town. Parking is easy too. Highly recommend!

Love that this place has Asian inspired drinks. We ordered a guava tea cake and it was so delicious! So moist and warm. Unfortunately, we weren't huge fans of the ube latte and pandan latte. They weren't bad but they were a bit watery/not very milky/creamy. Otherwise service was nice, parking is easy, and the drinks came out fast!

My second time visiting Palms springs . When I found this place a year & half ago I was looking for a local roaster coffee shop. I have to say one of the best shops in town and the staff is great . The shop has the best vibe and a great atmosphere. The coffee tastes really good and the banana/Nutella muffin is amazing!

Found this on Yelp while staying in Rancho Mirage looking for a place with good coffee and pastries. This, of course, highly appealed to me. I enjoyed a guava tea pastry and a small Pandan Latte. I also took with me the Adobo Pan de Sal which was delicious. I will definitely frequent this coffee shop. The music added to the vibes. There's ample parking in front, but there is not a restroom inside. It's a very small shop. They have 5-6 two-seater tables and an ate in the back that can seat maybe 3-4. I recommend giving this place a try.

My favorite coffee shop in the Palm Springs area! And trust me, I've been making the rounds... If you like your coffee a little unique- try their UBE (a purple yam from the Philippines that has a nutty, vanilla taste) and / or PANDAN (A Southeast Asian plant that has a coconutty, vanilla and slight grassy taste) lattes. Yummy factor is through the roof. And the people here are so nice! Always welcoming! I haven't tried their empanadas or their baked goods but they sure look tempting! Next time. On my first day in town, this is the first place I woke up early to get to. I couldn't decide between the Ube & Pandan lattes so I indulged in both! What a flavorful way to get the day started! Thanks Varraco! You rock my world!

Varraco was a great coffee stop in Palm Desert. They were literally roasting coffee beans inside the store when we got there, the smell was insane!! To drink we tried the brown sugar latte with cold foam and a strawberry matcha. Our favorite was the brown sugar! To eat we had an empanada and lemon muffin. I would definitely get the empanada again!

I have now been here twice in one weekend, it's that good. Nothing has disappointed us yet. We've ordered a plethora of drinks, banana q latte with extra shots, strawberry matcha, ube matcha, brown sugar matcha, varraco latte, ube latte. So good! They are so quick, so nice and so helpful. Wish there was more seating but I will keep returning when visiting!

Very cool little coffee shop! Super friendly employees, assortment of pastries/breakfast items, and very good, strong coffee! I ordered the brown sugar latte, and it was great...strong, and not overly sweet. We were curious about their empanadas, so we ordered one beef (for my husband) and one chicken for me. I did not try the beef empanada, but the chicken one was tasty. At first I was thrown a bit because the dough definitely had a sweetness to it which I was not expecting. I think I am just used to Mexican empanadas which typically are not made with a sweet dough. The filling was similar to a pot pie filling -chicken and peas, only not creamy. I actually liked it more than I expected. Overall, glad we stopped in!

Such a cool little find! This Filipino-inspired coffee shop has such a fun, welcoming vibe, and Joe, the owner, was incredibly nice and friendly. You can tell he really cares about creating a great experience. And the brown sugar latte was FIRE! So delicious and definitely something I'll be coming back for whenever I'm in town.

VARRACO Coffee + Roasters in Palm Springs is a cool spot with a really nice atmosphere and some unique flavors. The coffee was just okay for me. It had kind of a syrupy taste that I wasn't crazy about. The guava cake was really good though and probably my favorite thing we tried. Definitely a fun place to stop by if you're in the area and want to try something a little different. Maybe add an extra shot next time.

came in at the right time. they were about to close in a couple of minutes, and me and the sister were looking for some drip while visiting from SD. First off that BQL (banana Que Latte) was spot on *AMAZING*. The langka (jackfruit) and banana were all in there. Like you totally can taste it. It was balanced so well. Tho, I think it should be turon Latte (spring roll wrapped banana with jackfruit inside) not Banana que. But totally love this drink!! this alone make me want to go back again. its a small boutique but clean, and nice wall photos too.the moment we walked in the coffee aroma welcomed us. I love it!! Other than the BQL we ordered BSL (brown sugar) they do have milk alternative such as pistachio, oat, almond, etc. We didn't get to see other options for pastries since most were all gone by the time we got there. Overall, I would def recommend this place for anyone visiting PSP, Cath City, Palm Dessert, Indio or Coachella. Five starts would totally recommend and will becoming back in the near future. Thank you for bringing such good drinks to the Valley!

While I loved the aesthetic of this Filipino-inspired cafe, my friend and I thought our drinks were mid. I ordered the Pandan latte and while it was pretty green in color, I could barely taste the Pandan. Not sure if that was more food coloring than flavoring. The drink was also pretty milky. For $9 with oat milk this was not worth it, but it wasn't terrible. My friend ordered the ube matcha and she felt similarly. She couldn't really taste the ube flavor. This spot offers a lot of unique Filipino menu items, but the execution is a bit disappointing.

In September 2025 they moved across the street from their old location (I got lost finding the new shop!). To save you time finding it, it's tucked behind The Owl Pine Shop, which is to the southwest (left) of the Speakeasy Bookmarket and Raven Hill Bagels/Collective. If you're driving up North Circle Drive towards Humber Park, it's on the left, across the street from the record shop past Nomad Ventures. I'm not exactly sure where you're supposed to park, but I parked on the street. They have these nice aluminum cups and will discount future drinks if you bring it back (my cup is a few years old and looking great). The coffee is really phenomenal -- I only drink black coffee. My iced coffee was massive and $5 with the discount for the reusable cup. They offer beans too (didn't see the price) and they have these fancy dark chocolate bars that probably would pair well with a coffee. Staff is always friendly!

The highlight of my last trip to Idyllwild was enjoying a Vietnam light roast in this serene little space. You can buy freshly roasted bags to take home. Incredible. What a pleasure to be in a coffee shop run by someone who loves coffee as much as I do. I will be back every single time I am in the area. Thank you!

We stopped by around 11:00-11:30 a.m., thinking the morning rush would be over, but the place was still packed. After trying it, I can definitely see why. They had already sold out of all their pastries, which says a lot about how busy they are, but the coffee was amazing. I ordered the iced maple salt latte with oat milk, and it was so good. My son got the bourbon caramel latte, and he loved his too. The shop itself is small, but there is plenty of seating both inside and outside. What impressed me most was that there were only two employees working, and they handled the crowd incredibly well. They kept things moving, acknowledged customers as they came in and when it was their turn to order, and were still kind and friendly. The café was also very clean and well kept. For there to be only two people working and the crowd they had at 11 o'clock, I'm sure it had probably been busy all morning. Even so, everything was clean and organized.
