I loooove coconut so I was thrilled to see this as an option. Generous size for a large. They use nugget ice too. It was tasty, but I would've appreciated a bit more coconut flavor. 4/5 I was also so happy to see they carry blueberry bagels! Many places do not, and if they do, they tend to mix it up with raisin. The matcha tastes like pure sugar milk. I guess you could tell that was going to be the case by the color of the drink, being a muddy green instead of a brighter green. The service was quick though, and staff was friendly, I just wouldn't order the matcha from there. read more

The whole café is very inviting. Staff was super friendly and fast with our order. I tried the regular iced coffee with pistachio sweetener (never seen this option anywhere else), and the triple chocolate chip cookie. The coffee was fantastic! Pistachio lovers, you MUST try the sweetener. My coffee was not overly sweet (greatly appreciated), and I was able to taste the hint of pistachio. Super lovely. Dont skip the cookie! A lovely place for coffee right before getting some groceries. What is amazing, is that I went in there requesting for the Mint Mocha, because I have never tried it before. The girl was so awesome, she gave me a cup full and an extra small cup to take home. She was awesome for doing that, and the ambience is so chill and relaxing. I am happy to have stopped here. I have taken every friend here, the coffee or tea is always a hit. I also adore their mushroom leek quiche. Every single staff member is amazing, they have become a highlight in my day - the whole place is a vibe. Cute little coffee shop in IW/Palm desert area. Staff was super friendly and although they were busy on a Monday morning the line moved quickly. All the pastries looked yummy and they have some vegan and gf options. There's a good amount of indoor seating and some tables outside if the weather use nice. I was in the mood for a good, locally made breakfast bagel, and I headed for IW Coffee in Indian Wells. It is a happening, cute local cafe with a great vibe. Customer service is good--all the staff are kind and helpful. There is lots of seating, and you can choose a table, comfy club chair, sofa or bench, inside or outside. The decor is casual, attractive and not overdone. On a Tuesday morning in early June, the place is packed with people of all ages collaborating on laptops, reading, chatting, or just taking that much-needed coffee break. I like the way the customers seem so comfortable here. It's refreshing to see a locally owned coffee house thriving like this. They sell Joshua Tree Coffee, a rich roast that tops many lists of coffee connoisseurs in the Coachella Valley and High Desert. You can buy beans to roast at home, too. Their bakery items are plentiful, generously portioned, and lovely. I picked their bodacious cinnamon roll to share with my boo, and the zucchini muffin with cream cheese looks perfect for my mom. I got those to go. For a late breakfast I ordered the Palm Springs Breakfast Bagel, which comes with cream cheese, finely sliced red onion, and medallions of red tomato well dusted with lemon pepper. It was perfect on an Everything bagel. I had the drip coffee with oat milk, and it was perfect. All in all, this was an excellent experience. I highly recommend IW Coffee in Indian Wells. read more

I don't know if they changed the coffee in the last year or so but it was pretty bad. I'll drink coffee anytime from anywhere but the decaf Americano here is undrinkable, it tastes so bad. They said they'd give me a decaf coffee to make up for it and refund me if that wasn't good. It tasted like hot water- no coffee flavor at all, but at that point the line was really long and my husband said forget it. Even though I should've at least been refunded the price difference at the counter when I first went up. My husband said his regular coffee tasted like hot water too. The muffins here are good and the ambiance is beautiful but that's it. We wont be going back unless the coffee starts tasting like coffee again. read more

Stopped by this coffee shop while in the area. This coffee shop is very cutesy I was in and out really quick but I think I would like to go back and see how it would be studying there. I love the pink cups they are super cute! The coffee was delicious I got a pretty basic Hazelnut latte I think I would try another drink and I would try a food item. The service was super great! Most spots I've been to put the cream cheese inside, but it wasn't a deal breaker. In my opinion, both bagels tasted very salty, and chewy. They had plenty of breakfast options. We didn't order any drinks, but perhaps there will be a next time! Service- The ladies working were nice and friendly. They greeted us once we opened the door. It felt like a welcoming experience to grab a coffee, study or read a book. Ambiance- Very spacious interior with plenty of seating arrangements. They had comfortable chairs, and sofas to sit on. After a couple times staying in Indian Wells, this was my go to coffee spot. They use Joshua Tree Coffee, which is a great option. The only food I tried was their power cookie, which is delicious. There is a nice assortment of other pastries, including many that are gluten free for those needing that option. They have a nice seating area both inside and outside. Overall the service was good all times but once. There are a lot of regulars that come in, and the workers definitely get to know them. If I stay close again, I will return. read more

I am OBSESSED with this coffee and chai bar. I've been on a week long vacation and I visited IW Coffee everyday of my trip. My hotel does not have a coffee bar, so this has been perfect. Every morning I've gone to IW for a drink and a muffin. For me, their muffins are the highlight! They have several gluten free and vegan options too. I tried the lemon poppyseed, Maui, cinnamon roll, and coffee cake muffins. They were all so delicious! I enjoyed the Chai - I tried the Tiger Spice. Sad to say that it was not spicy enough for me. Their iced tea is really good - and they have those little ice cubes (the best kind)! The cafe itself is very cute and I love the pink lids and sleeves. Stopped by IW Coffee around 4:30 PM, and while the place itself was clean and the service was solid, I can't say I was too impressed overall. Coffee wasn't bad but was great, just ok. One big downside is they close way too early (5 PM), and by the time we got there, most of the chairs were already put away. Only spot to sit was the couch, so we just hung there for about 15 minutes and dipped. Decent amount of parking, which is a plus, but if you're coming later in the day, just know the vibe is pretty much already shutting down. Would be cool if they stayed open a bit longer and maybe worked on the coffee blend a bit. read more

Home Run. We love visiting the desert and finding new gems; IW coffee is a gem. You know it will be good when there's a line out the door. Don't let that scare you; they were on their game. We asked for a traditional macchiato, and it was delivered perfectly. I'm a black coffee person, and the roast was great. As busy as they were, everybody was so charming. This is the difference between four or five stars. Ok, the food was excellent. I ordered quiche and jalapeno bagel with jacream cheese. This is a cool touch to have many cream cheese options. The quiche had become flaky, and the bagel was nice and spicy. There is plenty of outdoor seating, and I wish we brought Fiona because they're dog-friendly. IW is conveniently located on the 111, and I know where I'm stopping on the way back home to San Diego. read more

The staff was the best here. They are the most welcoming and their coffee is great. I ordered a cold brew with splash of coco milk. They serve it over nugget ice- you know all that rage is happening now. They also have a blended drink coffee too that is sweetened- that's for next time. I ordered their coconut chip cookie, which has macadamia nuts, and came highly recommended. They have a very sunny outdoor seating area and plenty of seating inside. Def worth a stop.
