Really good cold brew, kind of bummed they don't have nitro anymore but it was good nonetheless. Also tried the White Elephant Chai and it was delicious. They had an assortment of pastries available as well as beans and merch. There's some seating inside and a small patio to sit out front. We ordered both hot and iced Chais with soy milk. Again, there are limited choices here in the area but I think the chai is good here. Pretty flavorful. I preferred the hot better, even though it was a hot day. The ice chai melted fast and ended up watery. I would order the hot chai again. read more

This was an unexpected find. We were searching for Starbucks which ended up being inside the grocery store so we saw this little local shop and stopped in. The service was awesome and the turkey sandwich I had was delicious I thought about it all week. Not much of a view only parking lot and construction but the shop itself was nice . Super friendly staff and gorgeous location! IW Chai was the closest coffee shop to the location we're spending our week, so I took a morning walk here and was so glad I did! My friend told me about this place so when I stayed in Palm Springs my friends and I tried it. Went for a morning walk with the intention of visiting a different coffee shop when we stumbled upon IW Coffee and Chai Bar. Oh, I'm so glad we stopped in. We enjoyed a just-right white chocolate mocha made with almond milk. It wasn't too sweet or too strong. The shop was clean and comfortable. There were many food options including Gluten Free muffins readily available. My hubby ordered the blueberry GF muffin. It was moist and full of flavor! Tiger chai is still good but a little too sweet this time around. had a very good breakfast bagel and service was fast even though there was a bit of a line. The service was not as great as last visit, the cashier seemed annoyed that people kept coming in and she was short and unfriendly taking the order. We stopped here on the way out of town to grab a quick bite to eat and some coffee. The place already had great reviews so we were headed in with high expectations. Happy to say that We were not disappointed at all! The staff was friendly, and the cleanliness and vibe was great. Then there was the coffee and the food, yumm!! The bagels are good. I got a gluten free bagel, they are good about gluten free cross contamination and very informed however, I would have liked it to be toasted but they didn't have a gluten free toaster. It would be 5 stars if they had designated toasters. Loved the service tho! The ambiance was fine but it was very busy today when I went so I felt sort of squished in. We found this shop on Yelp (of course) during our visit to the valley. It was exactly what wr needed to kickstart our day. I ordered the Black Rhino and it was delicious. My fil ordered the Vegan Power Bar and he gave it a thumbs up. Ny mil had the Mocca and saidnit was perfect. I took a sip and agree with her. We shared a cinammon roll. It would have been better warmed up. We enjoyed it nonetheless. This is a populat place. We waited in line for 10 minutes. They had limited sesting inside and out. Parking isn't an issue at all. They have a gender neutral restroom for those with small bladders like me. They have other teas that I would like to try, so I will be back. read more

We tried this adorable coffee bar during our recent visit to Palm Desert and we loved it! There was a long line, but it went very quickly and our food was served even quicker. They taste more like they come from a grocery store not a french bakery. Not buttery and flaky. The muffins look great so maybe next time I try one of those. The protein bowl comes in a cup with eggs, bacon, avo and some veggies. Its a nice tasting meal to go. Not inexpensive here but I really like what he's doing here. This place was very busy early on Saturday morning and I quickly understood why! We ordered an americano, a chai latte, and two jalapeño bagels. The americano was simple and smooth, whereas the Elephant chai latte was sweet and creamy. It was the perfect drink for that gloomy day. Our bagels were soft and bouncy and they paired deliciously with their jalapeño cream cheese! The store was walking distance from our hotel (the Marriott) which made it a nice morning stroll over for breakfast. I timed how long I was in line...not to be an asshole, not anything to do with your business but because I was (and still am) recovering from a collision with a semi truck. Perhaps that played a part in why I was so upset... But it was 5 mins of one customer at the counter. No one was in front of him when I came in. I was hoping to order, then sit while I waited bc standing for a prolonged period so shortly after my accident wasn't safe or possible. I understand if there's a line but it was just one person visiting for 5 mins, literally. The other occasions it happened I hadn't been hit by a semi truck so I just waited. Many Chai options. Been there a couple times. Pastry and baked goods options are not as many as the larger coffee places, but great options. The ambience is chill... good music & a big roll up door/window to let the environment in and look at the great views of the desert with majestic mountain backdrop. Parking is easy... I've never been to a Chai bar before, so I had to stop by... especially since it was only five minutes away from where we were staying! The poster listing all the Chai options is very informative. In addition to descriptions of each drink, it also displays where each one falls on the Sweet vs. Spicy scale (many of them reside more on the sweeter side). With only a couple decaf options, I got a hot DECAF TIGER SPICE ($5.75 for medium). This one is shown as being about 60% sweet and 40% spicy, described as a creamy mixture of black tea with special spices. Their traditional Tiger Spice is apparently award-winning, so I was happy to see its decaf counterpart. The Chai was sweeter than I'd like, but I could taste subtle notes of spice and it was a somewhat creamy drink, so it was a nice way to start the morning. We also got a few baked goods to take back for breakfast since the pastry case stated they are "Fresh Daily". My ZUCCHINI MUFFIN ($5.25) was moist, soft and still warm. It had raisins and nuts, making it substantial and filling. I took one bite of the GF BLUEBERRY MUFFIN ($5.25) and couldn't even tell it was gluten-free! It was delicious. The croissants ($5.95 each) were not bad, but we hoped they would have contained more filling. The chocolate inside at least tasted somewhat rich, but there wasn't much of it inside the pastry. I'd consider pricing to be on the steeper end, but it's probably comparable with other cafes in the area. A small hot Chai starts at $5.00. Iced Chais start at $6.25 for a medium. Even the price of coffee was higher than expected; one person in my group ordered just a medium Americano which was $5.45. For the novelty, I would recommend stopping here at least once if you're a fan of Chai. There is something to fit everyone's tastes. They do offer a rewards program, but given that we're not locals, we unfortunately weren't able to visit enough times to benefit from it. read more

The ambiance takes you out of the survival mode that naturally occurs with a desert summer. Perfectly located in the corner of the plaza just across the street from JW Marriott (hop over to IW for the affordable food and Better coffee!!!) **Now this is called a coffee & chai bar for a reason. There is an entire menu dedicated to chai drinks caffeinated and non caffeinated. I appreciated this because I prefer a nice decaf chai. Each drink is named after an endangered species and a portion of the proceeds are donated to this cause which is a great touch. The service is outstanding, our barista was very kind and helpful. I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich, the egg was fluffy, the bagel was (dare I say) PERFECT, very craveable. I was transported back to NY. Next time I'll need to try the cream cheese and pastries. We all know it's easy to find "meh" food in the desert, and this place defies the norm. My tiniest critique is the metal chairs that are loud enough to wake up a baby (lol) and if that's all I can complain about, I'll keep coming back and mark this place nap skipping worthy for mom and dad. We're staying at a hotel near this place and decided to walk over for breakfast. It's a little place at the end of a strip mall. There's a garage door on one side that was opened up, and there is indoor and outdoor seating - a lot of it is communal. Their pastries looked delicious! But, I decided I should have some protein and a slightly healthier breakfast. I ordered a lavender honey latte and a bacon, egg, and cheese burrito. I wish I would have ordered a pastry! My latte was not that good. I love lavender lattes and order them any time they're on a menu. This one just didn't taste that good. I didn't finish it. Now for the burrito! It was huge. And it was filled with a lot of egg and almost no bacon and cheese. There was literally a few sprinkles of each. And SO much egg. And the eggs were very wet which is not how I like my scrambled eggs. Their espresso is good and I'm glad they have a variety of quick breakfast foods with pastry options. The avocado toast had a lot more avocado than I was expecting, but it was super tasty.
